Chapter 1813 His Change

Before bed last night, Athena thought over and over what Rose had said on the phone.

Byron was getting better, wasn't he?

"Well." Evie pursed her lips and tilted her head to look at Athena. "Sometimes I feel that he is very strange."

"Strange?" Athena asked.

"Yes, although I didn't have much contact with him in the past, and we seldom talked, but..." Evie said, "Maybe it's because of his amnesia, and sometimes when he talks to others, I will feel that he is just a person who looks similar to Byron, but he is not Byron himself."

Although the words were different, Evie said the same thing as Rose.

"Athena?" Evie shook her hand slightly in front of Athena and said, "What's wrong?"

Athena withdrew her thoughts.

"Grandma said the same thing last night. It's strange. In my eyes, Byron has obviously become better," Athena said.

Without hesitation, Evie blurted out.

"It sounds like that after he lost his memory, he subconsciously changed to what you want him to be, right?"

Hearing Evie's words, Athena was lost in thought.

Evie added, "It's not important how he is in the eyes of others. As long as you like him, it's fine. Anyway, I prefer the current Byron. He is gentle and polite. In the past, I was sometimes afraid when I saw him."

Athena smiled.

She asked, "Really? You bickered a lot."

Although Evie and Byron didn't talk much, both of them would be angry upon hearing each other's words.

"After you get back together, I have you as my backer. Why can't I argue with him?" Evie snorted, looking arrogant.

Athena was amused by her.

Evie said, "Although I want you to stay with me, I can't delay your business. It's okay. You can do whatever you want." Athena nodded.

She decided to leave Northern Canakey and return to Girard City a week later.

The adults were working, and the children had to prepare for the start of school soon.

Sally and Elijah arrived at the monastery two and a half hours later.

They first went to Flora's shop and bought fruits and flowers. After that, they went to the gate of the monastery.

"Mrs. Patterson!"

Micah was squatting at the door to watch the ants. When he heard footsteps, he raised his eyes and saw Sally. He immediately ran over happily.

He said, "Why do you come so soon? I thought you would come when it gets cold."

"I feel like someone here misses me, so I come here," Sally said with a smile.

Micah's expression suddenly became a little awkward.

With a light cough, he said, "Brother Elijah, please wait a moment. I'll call Father Brett!"

After finishing speaking, Micah ran away.

After running out for a few steps, Micah came back and asked Sally with a blushing face, "How long are you going to stay? There are few available rooms in the monastery recently." "Three to five days," Sally replied.

Hearing Sally's words, Micah's face was immediately filled with joy.

"Okay!" Micah looked at Elijah and said, "Brother Elijah, after you left last time, Father Adonis asked me to dry all your scriptures. You can take them with you when you leave."
