Chapter 1895 Micah Died

Athena glanced at Paul's back as he gradually disappeared into the crowd.

She thought, "Is he still unwilling to go abroad?"

Suddenly, her phone rang.

It was Elijah.

Athena was a little surprised. Normally, it would be Sally who called her if anything happened to them.

She answered the call, "Elijah, what's wrong?"

There was silence for a moment, and then Elijah's tired voice came. "Sally is not well. Can I take her to you?"

"Wasn't she fine when we separated the day before yesterday? What happened?" Athena asked.

A shocking answer came from the other end of the phone.

"Micah died."

"Micah?"

"Yes."

Two days ago, Sally went to the monastery in a happy mood.

On the way, she asked Elijah to stop many times to buy delicious food for Micah.

After this trip, they would go on their honeymoon.

So she wanted to buy more things for Micah.

When they arrived at the monastery, it was almost dusk.

The sunset was beautiful. Sally had come here twice, so she ran into the monastery quickly carrying things.

But she found that the atmosphere was strange.

At first, Sally thought it was because everyone hadn't yet recovered from Adonis' death.

She calmed down and went to look for Micah everywhere.

Normally, at this time, Micah would be in the dining hall.

On the way to the dining hall, Sally met an acquaintance.

"Mrs. Patterson..."

"Nigel, how are you doing?" Sally greeted him enthusiastically.

Nigel saw what Sally was carrying was obviously for children.

In the past few days, Sally and Elijah had planned to adopt Micah, but Micah refused, which was known to everyone in the monastery.

Nigel's eyes instantly turned red.

"Mrs. Patterson, please go back." He took two steps back and bowed to Sally.

Elijah followed Sally here.

"Going back? I came to see Micah. I haven't seen him yet. Why should I go back?" Sally felt confused.

Elijah held her hand and asked, "What happened?"

"Micah..." Nigel sobbed. "He died."

Sally's mind went blank instantly.

"Elijah, what did he say?" She looked sideways at Elijah.

She didn't notice that she had burst into tears.

"Elijah!" At this time, Brett's voice came from the steps.

His voice was hoarse as if he was seriously ill.

As soon as Sally saw Brett, she immediately ran towards him. "Brett, where is Micah? Call him over. I bought him a lot of delicious food. A few pairs of shoes are in the car. When I left last time, I saw his shoes were worn out."

They hadn't seen each other for a long time, but Brett looked much more haggard.

He glanced at Sally, who was carrying things and talking to him. Then he glanced at Elijah, who was slowly walking up the steps with a solemn expression.

Brett lowered his head to hide the emotions in his eyes.
