Chapter 1930 Thanks to Mrs. Crawford

Before going to the conference room, Byron first visited the Office of the President.

People in the Office of the President had not seen Byron for more than half a year and had already been prepared to greet him with the best spirit.

When they saw Byron in front of them, alive and kicking, everyone in the Office of the President could not conceal their excitement.

They yelled, "Good morning, Mr. Crawford." It sounded as if they were shouting some slogan.

Byron didn't look at them, but nodded slightly and then walked straight to the Office of the President.

"Although he lost a lot of weight, and there are still faint scars on his cheeks, Mr. Crawford actually looks more handsome than before!!" Gordon said excitedly and grabbed the colleague beside her.

Colleagues nodded repeatedly and said, "The weakness makes him more attractive, don't you think so?!"

"Yes, yes, yes!"

"Everybody, Mr. Crawford and Mrs. Crawford are really in love with each other!"

The receptionist said excitedly in a low voice.

Inside the Office of the President, Jacob put several contracts in front of Byron for him to confirm today.

"Are you feeling okay?" Jacob asked Byron.

Without looking up, Byron responded, "Yes."

"That's good," Jacob smiled gently.

Byron suddenly thought of something and looked at Jacob, asking, "Why have you lost so much weight?"

The last time Byron saw Jacob was in the hospital.

Jacob looked more energetic than he did now.

"A family member passed away, and I have to arrange the funeral. It's exhausting," Jacob replied.

"Then take more rest." Byron withdrew his gaze and said, "Don't force yourself to work."

"This is the first shareholders' meeting since you were injured. I have to help. I can't trust these matters to other people," Jacob replied.

Byron glanced at him again and said, "Thank you for your hard work."

"I've been well paid, and this is what I should do."

Byron didn't bother saying more words of courtesy. After showing his gratitude, he went straight to the conference room.

It was no secret that Byron injured his leg.

So when he appeared on crutches, no one dared to show expressions of surprise.

Byron didn't seem to care and walked to the president's seat and sat down with his usual domineering aura.

"Everyone, long time no see." Byron glanced at everyone lightly.

"Long time no see, Mr. Crawford!"

"Mr. Crawford, we have missed you!"

Everyone started greeting him.

Byron withdrew his gaze, having no intention of lengthening the greetings.

"While I was recovering from my injury, the company has performed very well under the leadership of Athena. Thank you for your cooperation," Byron continued.

He didn't refer to Anthea as Mrs. Crawford.

Instead, he called her Athena.

Liam lowered his eyes and blocked his lips with his fist.

The Office of the President had prepared a speech for Byron.

But Byron didn't talk precisely according to the speech.

The prepared speech was, "Thank you all for your support and cooperation with my wife's work over the past six months."

But Byron simply changed it after reading it.

He changed "my wife" into "Athena" and "support for her work" into "under her leadership".

Liam could literally faint in admiration for the love and respect between Byron and Athena.

"I'm ashamed to say that we were completely lost and helpless when the incident happened. Fortunately, Mrs. Crawford was there to turn the tide. Otherwise, we wouldn't dare to meet you now, Mr. Crawford!"

"Yes! It's all thanks to Mrs. Crawford!"

Everyone agreed.

Byron was glad to hear this.

He stayed silent and let them praise Athena for a while longer.
