Logan leaped to his feet at the sound of the door opening, calling out excitedly, "Athena!"

"Let's go home." Athena showed a sorrowful smile.

"Athena, don't force yourself to laugh so hard. It's unsettling," Logan muttered, trying to take the thing from Athena's hand as he spoke.

Athena immediately avoided it.

Confused by his Athena's behavior, Logan stared at her, waiting for an explanation.

Athena just said, "Let's go home."

With a sigh, Logan relented, complying with Athena's wishes. As he glanced around the room, he caught Ennis' courteous nod.

Logan wasn't impressed, returning the gesture with a curt nod of his own.

They strode towards the elevator, and as they waited, Rebecca showed up.

"Mrs. Crawford, Mr. Freed's skills are currently at top level. If you do not want to follow Larry's path, I suggest you make haste..."

"Your surname is Yosef?" Athena interrupted Rebecca.

Rebecca furrowed even more tightly.

She didn't dare to touch Athena's keen gaze.

"What's your relationship with Xaviera Yosef?" Athena asked straight to the point.

"Why should I tell you?" Rebecca's gentle facade vanished in the face of Athena's directness, replaced by a sharp and argumentative tone. Athena glanced at her.

Physically and mentally exhausted, she had received an overwhelming amount of information, all of it startling.

She didn't have the energy to talk nonsense with Rebecca, so she chose to ignore her.

As the elevator doors opened, Athena wasted no time in stepping inside.

Rebecca attempted to follow, but Logan intervened, stating firmly, "Athena doesn't want to speak with you, so don't bother trying to follow her."

He closed the elevator, and the only sound that could be heard was its descent.

"Is this the doctor who treated Daisy?" Logan asked.

Athena nodded.

Logan said, "I thought he was a good person. This building belongs to Aron, and Evie even gave him a 30% discount on the rent of his office! I will ask Evie to raise the price in a moment. He can forget about 30% off. I'll ask her to give him a 20% increase!"

Athena knew Logan was cheering her up.

"Logan, I have a headache, so can you just be quiet for a while?" Athena looked at Logan tiredly.

Logan nodded immediately and shut up.

Logan was not an idiot, and he knew the only thing that could make Athena distressed and also involved the Crawford family must somehow relate to Byron.

How could a psychiatrist have something to do with Byron...

There must be something wrong with Byron's brain.

In the past, Logan had cursed Byron, but at this moment, he regretted his words and wished to pray for Byron's soundness of mind.

During the trip back, Logan drove the car, and Athena requested him to park beside Lakin.

Silently, he sat and pored over the file, repeatedly reading it until nearly midnight.

Byron called.

"I'll answer it, and I'll tell him that you're asleep!" Logan said.

Athena shook her head.

She took a deep breath and answered the phone, "Why aren't you asleep yet?"

"Is this your husband's phone?" A stranger's voice came from the other side of the phone.

Athena sat upright, startled. "It's my husband's phone. Why is it with you?"
