Chapter 316 The Good-looking Byron

Back then, Mia walked toward Byron and was unhappy to do it.

She almost arrived.

Then she heard the voice of the nasty Freya.

Mia knew eavesdropping was impolite, but she did it.

Instinctively, she stood against the wall with Alice.

Alice was very puzzled.

It was a corner. They didn't have to stick to the wall, and Freya could not see them. But Mia did it carefully. She was so cunning.

"Something changed." The annoying Freya lowered her voice, sounding very unhappy. "I met a stinky kid, and she invited Byron to dinner."

Stinky kid?

Mia frowned to hear that. Could it be the stinky kid meant her?

"Now she is inviting Byron and wants to have dinner with him!" Byron continued, "I will pretend to be uncomfortable in a while and let him take me away. Anyway, he must go home with me today!" Mia was shocked.

Alice was also shocked.

They looked at each other in blank dismay.

They seemed to hear something fishy!

"He is different now. He becomes so fond of children. If our plan is successful this time, I can use children to be with him." Then the voice faded away.

Mia was nervous.

"Is she going to do something bad to the gentleman who bought your paintings?" Alice asked Mia.

Mia nodded solemnly, "She is a nasty and villainous woman!"

"Miss Mia Newton, what should we do now? Do we tell that gentleman about it?" Alice thought she was unlucky these days. She would pray after she returned home. "She is the person Byron likes, and adults believe in the person they like more," Mia said seriously.

Alice thought these made sense. Mia was so clever to say that.

"Then what should we do?" Alice asked.

Mia looked at her, "Alice, I'm sorry."

Alice was surprised.

Why did Mia say that?

"I love you very much and don't want to hurt you, but the situation is urgent now!" Mia said.

All of a sudden, Alice became vigilant.

She felt that something terrible was about to happen!

"Remember last time you fell and kicked me into the swimming pool? I almost drowned."

It was not the truth. Alice quickly jumped into the pool and picked Mia up.

Mia even didn't realize she had fallen into the pool!

"Then what will happen if my great-grandma knows about this?"

Alice was unimaginable the consequences of it.

"Miss Mia Newton, what are you doing?" Alice asked sadly.

Mia's beautiful eyes showed determination. "Byron is a good person, and he helps children build schools. I can't let him be lied to by the bad woman! I want to take him away!" Alice was speechless and helped someone who would save her at this moment!

Mia strode out arrogantly and vigorously.

Alice seemed to have lost her soul and followed Mia unwillingly.

"Byron!"

A strange man was talking to Byron as Mia met Byron.

The man kept trying to give Byron a card.

Freya didn't show up.

Mia thought it was an excellent chance to take Byron away!

"Wow, isn't this the little painter?" The strange man smiled. "Mr. Crawford, she is your kid! No wonder she's so smart!"

The man saw Mia was intimate with Byron, so he misunderstood their relationship.

"Hello, thank you for your compliment. But goodbye, we are going to have dinner!"

Before the man could answer, Mia grabbed Byron's hand, pulled him, and walked towards the exit.
