Chapter 317 The Bad News

"Mia, do your parents agree?" Byron asked.

Mia didn't want to lie. "My Mammy is very busy and doesn't have time, so I treat you to dinner. Byron, let's go! I'm so hungry!"

Mia said it, and Byron believed her.

He smiled and carried her. "Okay."

"Miss Mia Newton!"

Alice underwent complex psychological feelings.

She still decided to stop Mia's outrageous behavior.

If Chelsea knew, they would be over!

After all, Alice knew Chelsea was an angel when she was not angry, but she was terrifying when she got angry!

Mia took a fierce look at Alice.

Byron also stopped and turned his head, looking at Alice coldly. "What's up?"

Alice was so overwhelmed by his aura that she couldn't speak.

In the end, she could only shake her head.

"Byron, let's go!"

It was a good time that the nasty woman didn't come, and he also forgot her, so Mia had to leave the art exhibition with Byron as soon as possible! "Okay."

Soon, Byron took Mia and Alice into the car, started the car, and drove out of the museum's garage.

Alice was restless.

Athena called Alice then.

Alice was so frightened that the phone almost flew out.

But she still answered the phone.

"Miss Mia Newton is already in the car of the gentleman who bought the paintings. They are going to have dinner. I see!"

Alice handed the phone to Mia, with a pale complexion.

Mia bit her lip, looked at Byron, who was driving, and finally answered the phone.

"Mammy."

"What did I say just now?" Athena asked.

Mia was silent and didn't speak.

"You like that person so much?" Athena asked again.

"Yeah!" Mia responded, "Byron is very nice."

Byron looked at Mia through the rearview mirror.

Athena was silent for a moment. "Don't talk anything about our family to him. Is that okay?"

"Yeah!" Mia was immediately overjoyed. "Mammy, do you agree?"

Athena then talked with Mia for a while.

Hanging up the phone, she rubbed her forehead and said helplessly, "Mia is audacious."

"Did she run away with Byron?" Evie was shocked.

"Yes." Athena nodded.

Evie glanced at Aiden, who had been playing games with headphones on since getting in the car.

"There's something I'd better explain to you." Evie made up her mind.

Athena looked at her.

Evie pursed her lips. "This is not the first time Mia met Byron."

Athena was shocked. "When did you meet then?"

"Do you still remember the good-looking man?" Evie asked.

Athena was despairing to know the bad news.

"You mean Mia was with Byron that day?"

"Yes, so I think you should relax. Byron has become fond of children. He didn't doubt it before and won't doubt it today." Evie was afraid that Athena would be worried, so she told everything to Athena. "How could you hide such a big matter from me?" Athena was a little at a loss.

Mia met Byron just after returning to this country.

So far, she had gotten along with him well.

"I'm not afraid that you will overthink." Evie muttered, "I'm telling you now because I'm afraid you will worry too much."

Athena covered her face.

She had complicated feelings.

Byron told her that there was something wrong with Freya's uterus before.

But now, Byron and Freya would have lunch with Mia happily.

She felt terrified for no reason.

If Byron knew that Mia was his daughter, he would spare no effort to snatch Mia for the sake of Freya!

If he did it one day, Athena would not let him go.

She would let Byron meet his maker.

No one could take her child away from her!
