Chapter 595 Excessive Concern

Byron panicked at once. "Mia, what happened?"

"My brother got sick..." Mia said, tears streaming down her face. "I can feel how much pain he's in. They all told me he wouldn't die, but last night I saw Mommy crying next to him... Byron, I'm so scared!" While Mia was speaking, a small speaker not far from the big tree was broadcasting the time.

Byron clearly heard the speaker announcing in English, "This is Ginako International Medical Center. It's 10:00 on the dot."

"Mia, are you in Mailand?" Byron asked.

Mia had never told him that she had come back.

"Yes!"

Mia nodded.

Byron stood up. "Mia, I'm coming to replace you right now. Don't wander around and wait for me, okay?"

"Aren't you busy? Mommy said I shouldn't disturb you." Mia sobbed, pitiful yet sensible.

"No," Byron gently reassured her.

He had always felt that Mia was special to him.

They had only met a few times, but Mia's emotions always easily touched his heart.

Now that Mia was scared and helpless, Byron only wanted to be by her side.

Although Stella Group's hospital was good, having one more person meant one more hope. In case Mia's brother had a serious illness, he could lend a hand.

Mia hesitated for a moment.

But then she refused.

She had known since she was young that their family matters should not be shared with others, and she shouldn't have told Byron that Aiden was sick today. "Byron, I have to ask Mommy first." Mia sobbed. "I really want to see you. If Mommy agrees, I'll call you, alright?"

Byron stood still.

Mia was so young. Of course, she had to listen to her parents.

His excessive concern might make her parents suspect his motives.

"Of course. Mia, stop crying. I know many skilled doctors. No matter what illness your brother has, I can cure him," Byron said tenderly and lovingly. Mia's watery eyes lit up. "Really?"

"I won't lie to you, Mia," Byron answered firmly.

After a conversation with Byron, Mia felt much better.

After she hung up the phone and wiped away her tears, she stood up and patted off the dark red petals. The sadness, despair, and fear in her heart disappeared. She turned around and looked at Alice and Jaxson excitedly. "Let's go back to Aiden!"

Alice looked at Jaxson in confusion. "What's going on?"

Jaxson rolled his eyes at Alice. "What else could it be? She called the man, and he calmed her down."

When Mia returned, Aiden had been sent back to the ward.

Mia hurriedly ran over.

Aiden lay on the bed, his face pale. Seeing him like this, Mia slowed down and tiptoed into the ward. She was afraid that Aiden would be awakened.
