(Andy)

Ever since this afternoon my wolf, Madox has been driving me insane. Every time I asked him what was wrong, he ignored me. I had no idea what was going on with him, but I ignored him and watched as some guys revealed themselves to Lita and give her a hug. There was one left. I felt Madox push forward. As soon as the flowers were out of view, and I saw those brown eyes. I heard the words I never thought I would hear.

‘Mate’ Madox howled in glee. I couldn’t believe it. I have found my mate and he was hot as hell.

“Andy are you okay?” Sara asks.

“Y-yes. Um… do you know who that guy is?” I asked her to point to the guy.

“That’s Joel, Yashira’s older brother” she informs me. Well s**t.

“Come on I’ll introduce you” Sara says pulling me with her. My heart was pounding in my chest as we got closer to my mate.

“Joel” Sara calls grabbing his attention.

“Hey Sara” he smiles at her showing his cute dimples. Goddess, he has dimples.

“Joel, I want you to meet a friend of my boyfriend, Yashira’s, and mine. This is Andy. Andy this is Joel” Sara introduces.

“Nice to meet you” he smiles at me and extends his hand.

“The pleasure is all mine” I smile back at him shaking his hand. As soon as our hands connected, I felt the sparks and I knew he did too by the way he gasped.

“Sorry” I said removing my hand. I saw the way Sara looked at me before excusing herself.

“So, you’re a friend of my sister?” Joel asks. I looked at him as he was checking me out. He looked at me and blushed knowing I caught him, and I couldn’t help the smirk that made its way to my face.

“Yes. So, are you staying with Lita too?” I asked.

“I actually took a break from touring. I wanted to be here for my grandma’s birthday. Plus, the guys and I needed some time to relax” he says.

“So, you’re in a band?” I ask making him look at me wide eyed.

“Have you ever heard of Rockplay?” he asks.

“Yeah. I’ve heard their music. Their- wait that’s your band?” I asked making him smile while nodding.

“That’s awesome-”

“Joel, can I get an autograph?” one of the pack sluts asks my mate. I wanted to growl at her, but this was what he did for a living. He smiled at her and took her pen as she exposed the top of her breast. Not wanting to cause a scene I decided to walk outside to calm down. As I walked out the door, I felt someone grab my hand. Sparks shot up my arm and I looked to see it was my mate.

“I’m sorry about that. It never stops” he sighed and for the first time I could see how exhausted he was.

“It’s okay. I just didn’t want to bother you” I admitted.

“You’re not bothering me” he smiled. We walked to a bench near the water fountain, and we took a seat.

“So, how old are you?” he asks.

“22 and you?” I ask.

“21” he replied. His locket catches the light grabbing my attention.

“What’s in there?” I ask. He reaches for it and opens it. Inside there is a picture of a man that looks like him but older and a woman who looks like Yashira but older. On the other side is a picture of him and Yashira.

“These are my parents” he points to the left side of the locket “and this is Yashira and me.”

“It’s beautiful” I smiled.

“Thank you. I got them for Yashira and me the day after our parents were killed in a car accident” he tells me.

“I’m sorry for your loss” I said taking his hand in mine.

“Thank you” I could smell the saltiness of his tears. I cupped his chin making him look at me. I could tell he was still hurting by the loss of his parents.

“I know how you feel. The pain never goes away, but you need to remember that they are always watching over you. They are always with you here” I said placing my hand above his heart “and always remember that you are not alone. You have your sister, your grandma, your bandmates, and now me-” I was cut off by his lips on mine. I kissed him back but quickly pulled away. I didn’t want him to feel like I was taking advantage of him because he was hurting.

“s**t, I’m sorry” he says looking a little nervous. I grabbed his hands again and made him look at me.

“Don’t be sorry. I liked it” I admitted.

“Then why…” he gulped “why did you pull away?” he asks innocently.

“Because I didn’t want you to think I was taking advantage of you. Your vulnerable right now, but I assure you I liked it” I winked at him making him blush. I kissed the tip of his nose making him blush even more.

“Joel, it’s time” another guy shouted from the door.

“I’ll be right there” Joel shouts back.

“We have another surprise for grandma. Will you come watch?” he asks.

“Sure” I smiled. He stood up and wipe his face before pulling me along with him to the door and back inside.

“I’ll be out in a few” he winks at me, and I chuckled. I can’t believe I found my mate and we kissed. Now I just need to replace a way to tell him that he’s my mate and that I’m a werewolf. I just pray to the moon goddess he doesn’t run off or reject me.

(Gabriel)

I pushed Ashley off of me. When I sat down to wait for my mate Ashley sat on my lap and kissed me while digging her claws into my back. I could see the smirk on her face and all I wanted to do was slap the smirk off her face, but I wasn’t the type to hit women, and this was not the place to start any trouble. I know I would give her the punishment she deserves when we get back to the pack.

“If you ever do that again. I will banish you” I growled.

“Why? I thought I was your chosen mate?” Ashley says.

“I was blessed with a second chance mate and it’s not you. I’m sorry Ashley, but there is no us” I told her.

“You can’t do this to me Gabriel. I love you” she says reaching for me.

“I’m sorry Ashley, but I’m not changing my mind. I love my mate” I told her.

“You will pay for this” she sneered and stormed out. I sighed shaking my head. The wounds on my back were already healing.

“But who is going to sing the song?” I heard Lita ask. I gifted her a trip to Hawaii with Jeffrey for a week all expenses paid.

“You’ll see” Joel smirks. I look around for my mate, but I can’t replace her anywhere. I know Martin said that she was needed somewhere but everyone is here now except for her.

“If I… should stay…” I heard a beautiful angelic voice that had me and my wolf looking around for the owner of the voice.

“No way. Can it be?” I hear someone from the crowd say. Lita gasps bringing her hands to her mouth.

“… I would only be in your way… So, I’ll go but I know… I will think of you every step of the way…” Shadow pushes forward wagging his tail in my head. Suddenly my mate walks out smiling and waving at her grandma who now had tears streaming down her face.

“And I will always love you… I will always love you… You… my darling, you… Mm-mm… Bittersweet memories- that is all I’m taking with me… So, goodbye… please don’t cry: We both know I’m not what you need” she said the last sentence while looking at me which made my wolf whimper. I couldn’t believe it. My mate was singing, and she has one hell of a voice on her.

“And I… will always love you” everyone clapped and cheered as soon as she hit the high notes. I see Tristan beside me clapping as well. I also notice that he had Yashira’s locket around his neck. Suddenly he runs towards Yashira. She picks him up and he placed his head on her shoulder. She continued to sing, and I couldn’t help but feel like I was being enchanted while listening to my mate sing.

“And I’m wishing you joy and happiness… but above all this, I wish you love” she sang while looking at me. For some reason I felt like she was singing to me. I see Tristan look up at Yashira as she sings, I will always love you before she turns to me and sings the same last words.

“Happy birthday abuelita” Yashira smiles at her grandma. The salon is silent for a second before it erupts in cheers.

“I wove you mommy” Tristan says taking Yashira, the guys on stage, my parents and me by surprise. Yashira smiled then kissed his cheek.

“I love you too my sweet, handsome little man” she says before placing him down. She then hugs her brother and the guys on stage before getting down and hugging her grandma.

“Thank you everyone. We have one more request” Joel says. Yashira went to walk off the stage, but her brother grabbed her hand shaking his head with a smile on his face. Yashira’s eyes widen a little before she smiled and shook her head at her brother.

“Baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby” all six of them started singing.

“I’m something better” Joel started to sing, followed by Michael. I have heard their music before and even though this was not the type of music they played they were playing it and singing it very well and from how all the girls here were acting I knew they thought the same.

“And all my life, I prayed for someone like you” Santos sang. I noticed Yashira taking a step forward while Santos took one back. Yashira’s eyes found mine as she began to sing.

“Said, I promise to never fall in love with a stranger… you’re all I’m thinking of, I praise the Lord above… for sending me your love, I cherish every hug… I really love you so much” listening to the two songs that she song and when she looked at me when it got to certain words…. Was she trying to tell me she loves me? I see Jeffrey hug Lita.

“This is my song from me to you my love” Jeffrey says to Lita and places a neckless on her neck. When the song finishes everyone claps and cheers. Yashira leaves the stage and I notice her rubbing her throat a little bit while walking towards her grandma.

“Oh, mi estrellita. Thank you so much for this gift. You have no idea how long I have been praying for this day” Lita says.

“I know grandma” Yashira says hugging her grandma again.

“Yashira drink this. It will help with your throat” Santos tells her. She grabs the cup and drinks its contents.

“Thank you” she smiles at him.

“Let the party continue. Abuelita I’m stealing my sister for a few minutes. Let’s dance some guajira” Joel says. (For those who don’t know what guajira is look it up on YouTube. It’s very fun to dance but make sure to put guajira Puerto Rico)

“Oh, that sounds like fun. Let’s dance too Jeffrey” Lita said. The music starts and I watch as my mate dances with her brother and his friends. You might ask why my wolf is not going crazy watching our mate dance with her male friends? Well, it’s easy, they are gay. If they, weren’t I would have ripped their heads off. Soon it wasn’t just Joel and his friends, but then other family members began to join the dance. I have never seen people dance like that. There was a group around them watching as they danced.

Afterwards the music changes to salsa and I wanted to dance with my mate. Jake and Sara have been teaching me since they learned from Lita. I walked towards my mate and her brown eyes locked with my golden ones. I extended my hand to her. A beautiful smile appeared on her face showing me those adorable dimples. She took my hand and we both started to dance.

“Did I tell you how beautiful you look today? Oh, and your voice… it’s like music to my ears. You were amazing baby” I tell her.

“Thank you. I’m glad you like my voice” she laughed as I twirl her.

“I see you have been practicing” she says.

“I have, but I need to learn that type of dancing you were just dancing with everyone else. It looked really fun” I tell her truthfully.

“It’s called guajira and don’t worry, I will show you” she smiled as I twirled her again.

“Gabriel, there’s something I need to tell you” I can hear her heartbeat pick up more. I noticed the music lowered a little and Yashira stops placing my hand on her belly.

“Gabriel, I’m-”

‘Alpha, the pack is under attack’ Noah, my Gamma links me.

“I’m sorry baby. I have to go. The pack is under attack” I tell Yashira.

“Go I’ll keep Tristan with me until Sara leaves” she says. I k**s her lips and I run out the door with the rest of my pack behind me.

‘You need to go back to mate. We need to mark mate’ Shadow says.

‘We will but right now we need to go to the pack and help them’ I tell him. I shifted to my wolf and rush back to the pack. My father also came with us and by the time we got there we had five injured pack members and three dead rogues.

‘Where are the rest of the rogues?’ I linked my warriors.

‘Gone Alpha. There were ten of them. We killed three, injured three, and captured one, but hunters were spotted nearby before we were attacked’ Victor, one of my warriors informed me.

‘Where is the one you captured?’ I asked through the link.

‘I just took him to the dungeons’ Mase, another one of the pack warriors replied.

‘Good. Any of ours injured or dead?’ I asked.

‘Minor injuries but nothing serious.’ Victor replied.

‘Good. I’m on my way to help clean up’ I tell them.

‘It’s okay Alpha. We have everything under control’ Victor tells me.

‘Are you sure?’ I ask.

‘Yes, sir’ he replies, and I close the link.

“I’ll go check on the injured pack members” dad says. I still have no idea why rogues were working with hunters or even if they were but it’s no coincidence that hunters are spotted and the rogues’ attack. It’s weird because the last hunters I encountered the first thing they did was attack. This has been making my head hurt but I’m determined to replace out.

About an hour later Sara came back to the pack with Tristan and my mom. I took him up to his room and changed his clothes to his pajamas. Unconsciously he grabbed Yashira’s locket. I remember how he told her that he loved her and even called her mommy. I needed to talk to my mate I needed to let her rest. I had a feeling she was exhausted after today’s event, but I will send her a text. I took out my phone and scrolled down to her name.

Me: Baby, I need to speak to you. Please as soon as you wake up and feel better, please call me.

I undressed and went to the bathroom to take a shower. After my shower I dried myself and wore some boxers. I then laid down and let sleep take over.
