Jesus, I'm pathetic. More so than I originally thought. I'm sitting in one of the bathroom stalls crying silently.

Why am I even crying? I know that I'm not the only women Kenzo is with right now. He made no promises to me, and I didn't to him either.

I feel like such a fool. I wasn't supposed to develop feelings for Kenzo. I barely even know him. Not having him doesn't change anything in my life.

So.. why am I so upset?

Suddenly, the door to the restroom opened. I froze as I heard a couple of voices. I think I recognize them. One is Judy, that's for sure, but I'm not sure about the other girl. I think her name is Mary? "I don't think she's that bad." Mary said softly.

Judy scoffed. "Please. I wish I could drop 100 pounds, and f*vck my way up to making the big bucks." She said.

Great, they re talking about me. Perfect. Just what I need.

"How do you know that's what happened?" Mary asked.

"What else could have happened? She wasn't even qaulified to be a serectary in the first place. Then Mr.

Suzuki kicks June to the curb for her? They have to be f*****g." Judy said.

"June did tell me that she and Mr. Suzuki were developing a relationship before he demoted her." Mary said

They were? A relationship like what we have? Was her leaving her underwear in my drawer her way of putting her claim on Kenzo?

Well, she can have him.

"I wonder how they even ran into each other." Mary said. "I barely ever seen her leave her desk."

"Well, I did see her flirting with Mr. Rossi right before she got promoted. Maybe they share her." Judy snickered.

"Ewww. That's weird." Mary giggled back.

I rolled my eyes. It wouldn't be that weird. I think it would be hot.

No. I don't think that actually, because f*vck them both.

Stupid men. I'm giving up on all of them.

"I know right! She isn't even pretty. She doesn't even wear makeup." Judy said.

"Yeah that is pretty weird. She has nice skin, but she could be so pretty if she tried harder." Mary agreed.

"Yeah, must be the reason she sleeps around. Ya know, to give herself more confidence." Judy snickered.

The bathroom door opened again silencing the two women. I don't know who it is, but I'm thankful for the interruption. Hopefully, it's someone that will make the women want to leave. "Ladies, your bosses are looking for you."

I froze.

That's.. Beck's voice.

"Mr. Rossi.. this is the women's room." Judy giggled.

"I know. I shouldn't be in here." Beck said amused. "I just needed to let you know that you are needed back at your desks." He said.

"Alright Mr. Rossi. See you around." Mary said.

I held my breath as I heard the women leave. I was hoping that Beck would leave with them. Unfortunately, I wasn't that lucky. I listened to the footsteps get closer, until I saw Beck's expensive black shoes stop in front of my stall. "Opal." Beck said expectantly.

"I'll be out in a minute Beck. I.. just have an upset stomach." I said lamely.

Sh*t, did my voice shake too much?

"I don't blame you at all darlin'. I would probably feel sick to my stomach if I watched someone kiss the guy I like too." He said softly.

I scoffed hollowly.

"I do not like Kenzo. Or you." I stated

Beck blew out a breath.

"Is that true? Or are you just saying that because of what those dull women said?" He asked

He heard that? All of it?

"Both." I stated. "Just go away Beck."

Beck sighed heavily.

"Fine Opal, I'll leave you alone for now. Kenzo left for his meeting already as well. Just so you know." He said.

I waited until I was sure that Beck was gone. Then I blew my nose into some tissue. I wiped the last of my tears from my eyes. Then I walked out of the stall.

I just have to take it one day at a time.

Kenzo's P.O.V.

Ax

f*vck.

F*vck f*vck f*vck f*vck f*vck f*vck f*vck.

I knew the moment that Avery showed up at my office it was going to be a disaster. I just hoped that I could get her out quick before Opal saw her. Of course I wouldn't be so lucky.

After the way Opal acted last night over me going to the Pet Store, I knew she wouldn't be happy to see another woman leaving my office. Especially after Avery spent nearly two hours in my office with me. Then she just had to f*cking kiss me on her way out. Avery is a private client of mine. Not for Suzuki Industries, but at the Pet Store. She prefers me to train all of her Subs.

Says she likes the outcome more when it's me.

Avery is also, a raging lesbian. I say raging because the woman loves p*ssy more than I do. She's a f*vcking looney when it comes to her Subs. Although, Avery is a very good Dom. It's clear in how thorough she is in their training.

Still, she didn't have to kiss me like that. Avery only did it because she was excited about the training I did for her last night. It was her way of showing me her appreciation.

I was the one that wanted to talk with Avery actually. I didn't expect her to come to my office, or stay so long. I told her that we could talk later tonight, but apparently that wasn't going to work for her.

Avery is a raging lesbian with boundary issues. And she just f*vcked things up between Opal and I. Right after I got things going. I haven't even had the chance to see if she followed my orders last night. Opal could have my dried cum all over her legs right now, and she just watched another woman kiss me. She wouldn't even let me try to explain. Just stormed off on me.

It's been a few hours since then, and I have been making Opal running around since. I just want to keep her busy enough that she doesn't wash herself off. I even worked her through lunch. "You need to tell her who Avery is." Beck said to me.

My eyes flickered to the open doorway of my office. Opal is silently clicking away on her computer. I sighed as I turned my attention back to Beck.

"I'm going to. I just have to get her alone." I said.

"Why not now? I can help you trap her." He offered.

"No." I stated. "She needs to gently be brought into this world."

"And it's been kicking you in the balls to go slowly with her."

Beck teased.

Lignored him.

"I found her in the bathroom crying earlier." Beck said softly.

I paused what I was doing to look up at my best friend.

"I knew she was upset." I mumbled.

"No shit." Beck chuckled. "If only Opal knew Avery, and the real reason why she was here."

"I'm going to tell her." I said. "Why were you even in the women's rest room Beck?" I asked.

"Well, you went to your meeting, I want to check on Opal. I was going to wait for her to come out, but." He trailed off.

"But what?" I asked narrowing my eyes.

"But then I heard some of the other secretaries talking about her inside. They clearly had no idea Opal was in there." Beck told me.

"Was it bad?" I asked.

"Well, I doubt that it made her feel any better." He said.

I frowned. I know that all of the other secretaries here talk about Opal. It seems that my little kitten was hot gossip before I moved her up here. Now I've only made things worse for her. "What did they say?" I asked.

Beck shrugged.

"What they always say about her. That she f*vcked her way to the top. Apparently, she f*vcked the both of us to get this position." He said.

The position I gave her that she never wanted.

"They were also going on about her looks. Something about her not being pretty because she doesn't wear makeup. That was about when I interrupted them. Opal didn't need to hear those lies." He said.

I raised a brow at Beck.

"What?" He asked. "I wasn't going to just let them say whatever they wanted about her. Opal is a very sweet woman. She didn't deserve to see Avery kiss you this morning, and she sure as hell didn't deserve to hear what those bored ladies had to say either. I didn't want her to keep listening to them." He said defensively.

It seems that Beck is growing a bit protective over my pet.

Good. Beck is the one person I trust most in this world. Now I know that he will also protect Opal, even if it's just from the silly things that bored women say.

"What happened after that?" I asked.

"I tried to get Opal to come out, but she wouldn't. I didn't push it with how upset she was. I could hear her sniffling on the other side of the stall door. I told her that you had left to your meeting already, and then I left. I had Peter go check on her shortly after that. Gave him some excuse about taking some bullshit papers to her." He said.

"And?" I asked.

Beck shrugged.

"Peter said she seemed very off. Not like herself." Beck said.

I blew out a breath as I leaned back in my chair. This Avery thing has really f*vcked things up between Opal and I. I need to fix this.

"Well, what are you going to do about it Zo?" Beck asked.

I looked back at Opal working on the tasks I gave her.

"I need you to run out, and grab me a few things."
