Never Late, Never Away Chapter 2649

What Is In Your Sack

"What is in your sack?" Larry asked, his hand pointing to the sack on the young man's back.

"Our food. You want to take a look?" the young man returned.

"Of course," Larry answered.

"Alright, I'll show you!" the young kidnapper untied his sack.

Before he could show it to Larry, a disgusting stench wafted out of the sack.

"Enough! You can leave!" Larry immediately stopped him.

The young kidnapper winked at his boss before walking away.

Larry continued, "I want to see her before I pay you the ransom."

"No problem!" The kidnapper proceeded to push the door to the warehouse open.

"Look, that's the woman you want."

Inside the warehouse, a woman was tied to a chair. Her head was hung low, and her hair covered her face completely. She had her back to Larry.

"I want to see her face," Larry demanded.

"Go over to her and you'll see her face clearly."

Larry walked slowly toward the woman and placed the briefcase he was holding on the ground. He held the woman's hair up so he could get a good look at her. She should be terrified, I guess. Larry appeared troubled.

"Take your time. I'll take my leave now!" The kidnapper grabbed the briefcase Larry left on the ground and dashed out.

"Della, wake up!" Larry gathered her hair together and urged.

"Let's go!" yelled the kidnapper's leader once he left the warehouse.

"Caspian!" Larry's voice rang out inside the warehouse.

Yes, the kidnapper had lied to him. That woman on the chair wasn't Della!

His roar pierced the air.

"Go get them!" Caspian ordered his men.

Soon, Larry's car was surrounded.

"Boss, what is going on?" the young kidnapper asked.

His leader answered at once, "I have no idea."

I thought I asked Larry to come alone! Where did these men come from?

"Come down!" Caspian stood outside Larry's vehicle and barked menacingly.

In the end, the three kidnappers came down from the vehicle reluctantly.

"How dare you target Mr. Norton?" Caspian snarled. "Tell me. Who ordered you to do this?"

"Sir, please spare my life. I was greedy for money." The leader flung his arms around his head and groveled at Caspian's feet.

"Where is Della? Where did you hide her?" Larry ran out of the warehouse and demanded.

"She's in that sack." The young kidnapper pointed at the sack in the car.

Shit, is she dead? Larry dashed toward his car and dragged the sack down.

Indeed, there was an unconscious woman underneath the pile of rotten vegetables.

Larry was suddenly filled with guilt.

"How will you deal with them, Larry?" Caspian sought for his opinion.

"Let's head back first," Larry answered as he helped Della out of the sack.

If it wasn't for him, Della wouldn't get kidnapped. At that thought, Larry felt slightly upset.

"Larry, are you alright?" asked Caspian in a low voice.

"I'm fine. Quick, let's go to the hospital."

Throughout the journey, Larry kept patting Della's cheek to rouse her up.

How shall I explain to her family if anything happens to her?

Soon, their car arrived at the hospital.

"Doctor, please save her!" Larry rushed in with Della in his arms.

The doctor hurried over after hearing his yells.

"Mr. Norton, don't worry. Ms. Duff will be alright," the director of the hospital was alerted and immediately came to comfort him.
