Chapter 1200 Malicious and Scheme

Despite the considerable difference in influence and power between Benett Corporation and Tabor Group, many

considered them on par with each other, and some even believed that Elisa was far more capable than Nicole. This

was because Nicole had not yet fully taken over the reins of Tabor Group, as she still had to listen to her

grandfather's orders. Even though Old Mr. Tabor had delegated some of his responsibilities to Nicole due to her

exceptional performance. As a result, when comparing Nicole to Elisa, people tended to lean toward the latter.

It was essential to recognize that any of the aliases that Elisa had manifested would have caused a global sensation,

causing people to shudder at their mere mention. In this context, it was preposterous to believe that Elisa was

inferior.

Moreover, Elisa's aliases alone were enough to make her a fortune. Coupled with Benett Corporation, her net worth

could easily exceed Nicole's record. Upon hearing Nicole's words, Elisa responded with a courteous smile, "Of

course."

In fact, she had nothing to say to Nicole and did not want to have too much interaction with this woman. Elisa

sensed that Nicole was hostile towards her because of Gareth, but with Julia's health at risk, distancing herself from

Gareth was not an option.

Furthermore, there were a lot of smoke screens to be done, and Elisa had no intention of clearing up Nicole's

misunderstandings because Julia's recovery was her top priority.

'Applauses!'

Nicole sized Elisa up, and it seemed she didn't want the atmosphere to remain so heavy. "Grandpa's birthday party

will be over soon. You can rest in the guest room behind if you're tired." Elisa smiled wryly and didn't seem

particularly interested in continuing the conversation. "Ms. Tabor, why don't you talk to some of the other guests?"

She suggested as she stood up.

"Excuse me, I need to use the restroom." Nicole nodded. "Sure thing," Elisa said nothing and just smiled at Nicole

before heading toward the restroom.

At this moment, Nicole also stood up. To their surprise, there were a pair of waiters approaching them at breakneck

speed.

Despite Elisa's attempts to evade them, Nicole inquired behind her, "What's the rush, gentlemen?" She had

assumed they would stop in response to her query, but the waiters charged on, seemingly unconcerned with the

numerous guests in their path.

Elisa detected a hint of malice and scheme in their eyes. "Let's move aside," she whispered to Nicole, hoping to

steer them towards a safer route, but it was too late.

Several people had already crowded the side area, blocking their escape. The next moment, the waiters collided.

'Ah!'

The sound of the collision echoed across the hall.
