No Chance of Remarriage Get Lost (Elisa) -
Chapter 802
Other women would have cried in pain or acted weakly in this situation.
But not Elisa. Everything was as usual, and it was as though this was a small matter to her. She wasn’t asking for
help at all.
Once everything was done, Elisa stood up without help, as if she wasn’t in pain.
The doctors looked at her in astonishment. “Ms. Benett, you’re the toughest woman I’ve ever met.”
Elisa smiled. “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome. This is my job. Don’t get your wound wet for a few days; change bandages daily. Don’t do any
physical activities, and don’t eat spicy food. Have balanced meals.”
Elisa nodded. “Alright.”
Just like that, they walked out. As Gareth came over to pick her up, Elisa immediately said, “I’m fine. I can walk on
my own.”
Gareth glanced at her four-inch-tall heels and couldn’t be bothered to say anything. He picked her up.
Elisa was dumbfounded.
She didn’t resist in the end.
Gareth carried her into the car before Thomas quickly drove back to the hotel.
Vincent had stayed in the hotel the whole day. He wanted to go out to get some air, but… when the elevator
reached the first floor, he saw Gareth carrying Elisa as soon as the doors opened.
He was slightly stunned, and before he could get out of the elevator, Gareth walked in with Elisa in his arms.
Thomas followed behind them.
Vincent was a little dazed, and he seemed to tease them. “Oh, what exciting game are the two of you playing?”
Is Gareth carrying Elisa?
And Elisa agreed to it?
Gareth is someone who takes excellent care of his reputation, but here he is, carrying Elisa?
Vincent was still stupefied and felt that something wasn’t quite right, but… when he saw how bloody Elisa was, he
immediately realized that something was up. He didn’t think about it further and immediately shut the doors. He
pressed the button to the top floor and wasn’t in a rush to go out any longer. Instead, he asked solemnly, “What
happened?”
“An accident happened. Don’t let Rach know.” Elisa looked at Vincent earnestly.
Vincent’s brows furrowed tightly. “Rachel came here for your sake. She interacts so much with you. How does she
not know about this? What on earth happened? Are your injuries serious?”
Thomas could only tell Vincent what had happened. Vincent wrinkled his brows slightly and looked at Elisa. “I
thought you were an unfortunate bystander, but from the looks of it, you were their target.”
Elisa frowned and didn’t say anything.
The elevator doors suddenly opened, and Gareth immediately walked to their suite.
Thomas followed at once and opened the door for them. Gareth carried Elisa into her room and carefully placed
her on the bed. At that moment, his cold face was filled with frost.
Elisa had a slightly complicated expression. She never thought that Gareth would carry her in personally and take
care of her so attentively.
It must be… because of Grandma, right?
He just doesn’t want to worry Grandma, right?
Thinking about this, she immediately said, “I’m afraid what happened will trend on Twitter. Can you get your people
to deal with this? I’m afraid Grandma will see it.”
“Mm,” Gareth answered. “you should rest. I’ll handle everything else. You don’t have to go anywhere for the next
few days.”
“But…” Elisa wanted to say something but was interrupted coldly by Gareth. “I’m not in the habit of torturing my
employees.”
Gareth got up after that and took away the notebook from her room. It was evident that he didn’t plan to let her
work.
Elisa was dumbfounded.
Gareth walked to the door and stopped. He turned and looked at her. “What do you want to eat?”
