Chapter 948 She Was Capable

No one expected Elisa to suddenly cause a stir, resulting in many people threatening to leave the company.

It did not matter whether she was threatening them. No one dared to risk it.

Norman laughed furiously, "It seems all of you have been dissatisfied with me as the chairman."

Elisa met his gaze indifferently. "Only the capable ones should take charge."

How arrogant!

Everyone looked at Elisa uncertainly. Does she not know that she's inviting criticism with those words?

But…

Somehow, the more arrogant and daring she was, the more everyone anticipated to see what she would do.

It was because she could surpass their expectations.

Furthermore, any of her secret identities was enough to astound the world if revealed.

Especially her being Rene Caovilla. None of the shareholders expected or dared to dream of being in the same

room as her.

Rene was a renowned jewelry and couture designer. A collaboration with her would lead to unimaginable profit.

Profit was all that a businessman cared about.

On the other hand, Linda's eyes burned with fury. "Liz, you don't have much experience. How can you mock your

uncle and humiliate him before everyone? How could you do this to your family?"

Elisa turned to Linda and sneered when she saw Linda trying to act disappointed. "Are you sure you want me to

reveal the truth?"

Linda's lashes trembled slightly. As she opened her mouth to argue, Elisa interrupted with a smile, "Everyone knows

we grew up together. Uncle Norman came to Dad for help a long time ago. It was Dad who brought Uncle Norman

to his position today. Yet, the two of you grabbed the chairman position and won't let go. Do you know what the

public says about you? Would you like me to tell you what they think?"

Linda was rendered speechless.

This b*tch!

I should have gotten rid of her with her father! If she hadn't married that man and gotten out of my reach, she

wouldn't be here saying all this nonsense!

Jessie chuckled and said, "Everyone knows about this. Moreover, the criticisms are increasing. I've heard many

people talk about this matter, and they did not mince their words. Mr. Benett, would you like to hear what they

say?"

Norman's expression darkened intimidatingly.

"Enough!" he said sternly and gave off a threatening aura.

It seemed Elisa had gotten used to Gareth's cold and intimidating demeanor. Since she was not afraid of Gareth,

Norman's sudden outburst of fury felt like nothing to her.

Then, she announced calmly, "Why don't we have a vote to decide this? After all, your side proposed to have a

vote. So, let's start the vote now. Any objections?"

James smiled. "None from me."

Jessie said, "Okay, I have no objections either."

"Same here."

"I agree we should have a vote. Benett Corporation is declining. If this continues, I don't even want to imagine the

consequences."

"That's right. Benett Corporation is surviving on the reserve the late chairman had built. It's probably running out

too."

The other shareholders voiced their opinions. Norman clenched his teeth furiously. He never knew these people

were harboring such criticisms against him.
