Not His Type Of Mate
Chapter 107

Alpha Leo's POV

The door opened, and a waitress walked in. She stared at me with a furrowed brow before asking, "Alpha Leo?" She asked, and I nodded.

"Greetings," she greeted, slightly lowering her head.

"I'm a member of your pack, but I left home due to some reasons," she said, and I nodded.

"Alpha Leo, this is Ava. She is the one I talked about. She works here and will be the only one who can help you," he said, making me to stand to my feet. "Help? What is going on?" she asked, scared and confused.

"Relax, I just need your help," I pleaded and saw her furrow her brow, confused.

"Ava," I began, my voice calm and reassuring, "I apologize for the suddenness of this situation, but we're in need of your unique abilities. You see, my mate has gone missing, and we believe she's been kidnapped by Lorenzo." Ava's eyes widened in surprise, and she glanced at Chu for confirmation. He nodded, affirming the truth of my words. She took a deep breath, her expression shifting from confusion to determination.

"What do you need me to do?" she asked, her voice steady despite her confusion.

"I need your help in tracking down Lorenzo. We know he has the ability to teleport, and that's making it difficult for us to locate him. But with your teleportation abilities, we might have a chance to replace him and bring Nora back safely." Ana hesitated for a moment, visibly weighing the risks and the importance of the situation. I understood her concern. It was no small thing to get involved in a dangerous rescue mission, especially when it involved someone she didn't know.

"Ana, I know this is a lot to ask, and I understand if you're hesitant," I continued, my voice sincere. "But Nora's life is at stake. She's my mate, and I can't bear the thought of losing her. We need all the help we can get, and your teleportation abilities might be the key to replaceing her."Many paragraphs are missing. Read the complete book on J o-b n-l b. c (o) m. Ana's gaze flickered between Chu and me, her expression a mix of determination and fear. After a tense moment, she nodded. "You are my alpha. I can't say no to your command."

With a deep breath, I took a step closer to her. "It's not a command but a plea," I said, and she blinked her eyelashes repeatedly, perhaps surprised at my words. All alphas are known for issuing orders, and as a member of that pack, whether far or near, you must obey.

"I'm not commanding you as your alpha, but I'm pleading with you as a common man," I said, and saw her nod.

"I'll help you, Alpha," she said firmly. "If there's a chance to save your mate's life, I can't turn away. Just tell me what I need to do."

Relief washed over me as I realized we had gained a valuable ally in our search for Nora.

"Thank you. You will be greatly rewarded," I said, and she smiled. "It's a privilege to finally get to serve you," she said, and I responded with a grateful smile.

"So, what's the plan?" she asked.

"We need to track Lorenzo's teleportation patterns, and that's where your abilities come in," I explained. "We'll work together to analyze the energy traces left behind by his teleportations, and hopefully, we can narrow down his location."

Ava nodded, absorbing the information. "I'll do my best to help. Just take me to a place he was before and let me see what I can do," she said, and I quickly nodded.

"He was in an abandoned building but left a few moments before we arrived."

"Take me there," she said, and I nodded.

I turned to Chu and stretched out my hand to him. "Thanks for everything, Chu. You will be greatly rewarded," I told him and left with Ava.

When we left the office, she asked me to leave the club, that she would meet me outside, and I agreed to it.

I located Maxwell, and we left the club.

"Maddison," I called through the mind link and instantly got a response.

"Come back to the abandoned building with the men," I announced.

"Why? What's going on?" he asked.

"I've found someone else who has the ability to teleport. Come quickly; we are on our way there," I said and ended the mind link.

We boarded a taxi, got in, and waited for her. After a few minutes, I saw her walking up to us. She was no longer dressed in the uniform but this time she was wearing black pants and a blue dress.

She sat in the back seat with Maxwell while the driver drove off.

As we rode back to the abandoned building, I filled Ava in on the details of Nora's disappearance and our current situation. She listened attentively, her expression serious and determined. It was clear that she understood the gravity of the situation and was committed to helping us in any way she could.

When we arrived at the building, Maddison and the rest of the team were already there, waiting anxiously. I introduced Ava to everyone, explaining that she possessed teleportation abilities that could assist us in tracking down Lorenzo. The team looked at her with a mix of curiosity and hope, understanding the potential impact her abilities could have on our mission.

"I will give you anything you want if you can help me locate my mate," Maddison said, causing her to look at me with a confused brow. Obviously, she was confused as to why Maddison also called Nora his mate, and thankfully she didn't ask questions. We led her to the room where Nora was formerly kept, and she took a deep breath before closing her eyes.

Ava closed her eyes and focused, tapping into her powers. I watched as her expression changed into a deep frown while she began mumbling words. In the blink of an eye, she teleported away.

"Where did she go?" Maxwell asked, but no one could give a response. In less than twenty seconds, she reappeared, her eyes still closed.

After a few moments, Ava opened her eyes and stared at me for a moment before opening her mouth to speak. "He is no longer in China; he is back in France, and I can't get his exact location unless I go to a place he has stepped his foot in since his arrival there." I took a moment to process Ava's words. If Lorenzo had indeed left China for France, it complicated our search. However, the fact that Ava could track him gave me hope.

"Damn it," Maddison yelled in anger, while we all remained silent until an idea came to my head.

"You could teleport us all to France, right?" I asked, and she hummed. "We just have to hold each other's hands," she explained, and I nodded. "Then do it."
