"Ok, now that we have finished with the last person and asking of what I feel like was the thousandth question, what happens next?" I asked doing my best to hide how tired I was. Even Moonlight was laying down and panting excited that we were done. "First tell me what you learned about your power and yourself." Sabine stated using her magic to make us seats from the roots of the trees around us. I was instantly jealous that she could do that.

Of course, there was a test afterwards. It's like being back in school and I hated school. Except this was worse since I couldn't be snarky or run off and hide until the next day.

"Well, I learned that I could see auras because I was never mentioned before you. That was a trip." Moonlight rolled her eyes at my snarkiness but dang be able to do this in a few days not one. Most people would've extended their stay if they were helping someone with something but not her. "I learned that not only can I match Moonlights skill of being a living lie detector by just using a few indicators that actually that helps make us stronger. We can see if what they did was malicious or unintentional. We can separate the small white lies that have it on purpose to the big lies about who they are or what they stand for even if it was just the way they were raised and they are able to rewire their brain around everything."

"Fantastic now I want to work on the other power you mentioned about being able to see snippets of where someone's located when they're in trouble" She smiled crossing her legs. "Now I want to see if that works on people you know or people you care about versus it just people in the pack or someone you've met before."

"And how are we going to do that test?" I asked a bit uneasily. She had this murderous glint in her eye that sent all my hackles up.

"It has actually already started. Feel around in your brain and test your connections with people. The only hint you get is that two members of this pack are now in trouble and only you can save them so let's see who gets saved tonight.

"She stood up and looked around us. "After this you're probably going to hate me so I need to go ahead and let you know this now. This war is coming and you will lose someone very important to you but it is avoidable. The only way that it is avoidable is if you sacrifice a few people that aren't as important to you but are just as important to others. You will have to sacrifice several pack members and a few other members from different packs in order to save your one person that's important to you. It's up to you to decide if that's important and if that's worth all of that pain and suffering."

Before I could reply she cut me off with instructions to focus on the now because we only had a little time left so I did as I she said and focused on my connections with my loved ones first starting with my mates.

I couldn't see where they were but I see that they were okay. I could feel that they were happy and safe.

Next, I focused on my brother and Allie. Between their anxiety, their fear, and their overwhelming joy I knew that they were with my nephew and godchild. They were probably telling him he was the smartest thing in the whole world, which I totally agreed with. I was going to skip over checking on Britt just because I knew that she was with several of my friends and they would've fought tooth and nail to keep her safe but

Moonlights ears perked up in a low growl hummed her throat.

"You took my sister? My sister who fan girled over you over our little dinner together and this is how you repay us." I shouted into the forest. "If she gets hurt I don't care how strong of a witch you are I will replace a way to hurt you."

"You could try but you shouldn't waste your energy. She is not the only one in danger and you wouldn't want your pack to think you only save your family." She left with her voice moving through the trees.

I jumped searching all around me for her but nothing. I was alone in the woods which at this point was probably good. I could feel my rage boiling over wanting blood, wanting revenge.

Moonlight growled telling me to get my crap together, so we focused. We focused only on my sister. Her soul, her mind, and her body. We brought memories, happy memories, forward of times we were laughing with each other or at each other. The memory of her being so excited she just beat Lucas on the xbox brought forward the first vision of where she was. Her arms and legs were bound with silver chains. I could smell the scent of burning skin and I could hear her winds. It would've been wailing from the pain but something was blocking it. I could only see the back of her and it was only for a couple seconds.

Moonlight instructed. She had started to timber down our rage which I was very thankful for.

There was no noise except the animals in the forest near us. She wouldn't have put her near the packhouse because then any of the wolves would've heard her so she must be further out or she may not even be in the pack lands. I pushed my ears to go behind us toward the border but found nothing.

Another vision shoved itself inside my brain and showed me the front of her. I gasped at the way her face looked with its bruises and cuts. Her outfit was torn with even more bruises and cuts on the rest of her body. Sabine was going to get her a*s kicked and I wasn't going to enjoy every minute of it.

Finally checking near the gardeners that the twins told me about I found her. She was in this little grove of trees with two wolves guarding her and another watching her and getting closer to her. None of them looked familiar but at this point they could still be pack. To me they were just dead meat.

I took off at a sprint shifting into Moonlight and letting her take control. She was faster I gave me time to focus on the other wolf we were missing. I couldn't bring up the memories of them but I could focus on the different parts of the pack lands and see if anything popped up.

It worked. After the third no go section on my virtual map I found her. I hadn't ever interacted with her before, but she felt familiar. Maybe it was just the pack connection which was good

'Don't be alarmed Its Gemma. I am searching for you but I'm only able to vaguely sense where you are!' I linked her focusing on only her. It was hard to link with someone that I didn't know their name of but I focused on their wolf because that's what I could feel the power wise. 'Do you know where you are?'

'Luna Gemma? Help me please. I don't know what happened. I was just out training and I took a water break, something happened and everything went black. 'She replied. I could feel the pain coming from her. 'I think I'm on the northwest corner but there's nothing around here. No one lives here from our pack. It's our hunting grounds. All the trees look the same. But if you could focus on the scent of blood you can replace me. I have been bleeding a lot. Can you do that?"

Yes we can do that. Lay still and focus on your healing.

The brood on the ground will be enough if we are going in the right direction.

I linked the guys letting them know what Sabine had done and that I was stuck between saving two different people.

My voice had never pushed a desperate filled whine as it did now. I didn't know hot to feel or think. I could feel the danger they were in. I didn't know if was a spell or she had brought a group of wolves from a different pack onto our lands to hurt people or if she had done something for me to feel this way.

I could feel in my being how much danger my Sister and this other female wolf were in and I didn't know what to do.

I was already running to my sister but she wasn't bleeding.

The other wolf was bleeding but she wasn't surrounded by wolves. I didn't know what to do.

Duncan is the one who made the decision. When I explained what was around my sister and where I felt her at he was closer to there so he started running to join me to save her. Leo and Lucas along with my brother Draco ran to the other wolf. When I described what she looks like and sounded like they told me her name was Betty. They were going to save her. All I could do was cross my fingers that they would be able to do that. Once my sister was safe I was going to head there.
