We quickly moved on to a boutique a few shops down.

"I'm so sorry you went through that, don't worry, she's getting fired." Valentina said, flipping her brown and blue hair over her shoulder. "I don't want her to lose her job." I looked at her in shock.

"Lili, she treated you like garbage, she shouldn't be working in customer service if she wants to act like that." She rubbed my back gently. "Hey, let's focus on getting some new clothes, okay?" She smiled, tucking my hair behind my ear.

"Okay." I gave her a small smile. That's all she needed, she became a blur. Running back and forth, grabbing things she wanted me to try on. I was practically trapped in the changing room. As I was standing in the hall, looking in the mirror I saw her. Karissa! I looked around for Valentina, she was busy talking to another employee. Perfect timing. I briskly walked over to her, keeping an eye on Valentina.

"Karissa?" I asked.

"Yes?" She turned to me. I saw the recognition in her eyes. My heart clenched at the thought of her with my mate. I tried to tuck my feelings away.

"Who was the name of the guy you were with at Ethan's birthday party?" She blushed, glancing around.

"I, um, didn't get his name." My shoulders slumped.

"But, I know he's an Alpha." She whispered as she leaned in. Perfect, there were hundreds of Alpha's.

"Was there anything else that stood out?" I asked, keeping an eye on Valentina.

"Oh, I heard him talking to a guy named Javier." She smiled at me. Hopefully this little bit of information helps.

"Thank you." I said as I dashed back to the fitting room.

DIEGO POV

I smiled as her scent hit me. I was sitting in the garden when she came around the bench. Before she could sit down next to me I pulled her into my lap. She giggled as she sat sound, it was a beautiful sound.

"Did you have fun?" I asked as I buried my face in the crook of her neck.

"Yes." She sighed. I was surprised to feel long nails running down my arm. I caught her hand to inspect it.

"This is sexy." Her nails were lengthened and pointed. The color was a deep blood red and slightly shimmery.

"Valentina said your favorite color was red." I love my sister... sometimes.

"She would be correct." I released Lili's hand and watched as she pulled out my hair tie. Her long nails scraped at my scalp causing a shiver to run down my spine. "Karissa, the blonde from Ethan's birthday party."

"Did she tell you his name?" I brushed her hair back over her shoulder.

"An Alpha? There were hundreds at the party."

"That's what I said, then she told me she saw him talking to someone named Javier." I froze, no, there's no way.

"Diego?"

"Are you positive she said Javier?" I asked, gripping her shoulder slightly.

"Yes, I'm one hundred percent sure." I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath.

"What's wrong?" Lili asked, worry thick in her voice.

"I know who your second mate is." I sighed as I held her close.

"Who is it?"

"Alpha Rafael Garcia from Crystal River pack." Lili looked off into the distance.

"Do you know anything about him?" I asked her.

"No, I don't think I've ever heard of him before."

"He's not a good person, Lili. His pack doesn't accept other races. They see humans and vampires as beneath them." I watched her eyes grow wide.

"That's why he said those things..." The look on her face broke me, I wanted to kill the mother fucker.

"Have you met him before?" Lili asked. I thought hard, trying to remember the last time I saw him.

"I've met him a few times when we were teenagers, our packs were allies at the time. When I was around seventeen their previous Alpha Alejandro said something offensive about my mother." My face twisted into a scowl at the memory. "What did he say about her?" She c****d her head to the side.

"He made a comment about how humans are only good as servants or something like that. I'd never seen my father so furious." I remembered how the house shook with his yelling. "Your mother is a human? But she could smell that I was half vampire and she doesn't smell like a human."

"When a human is mated and marked by a wolf or venom changes their DNA. She's like a wolf, but minus the wolf part." I watched as her mouth formed a small O. I placed my hand under her chin and pulled her mouth to mine. The sparks from our kiss rocked my whole body. She slowly wrapped her arms around my neck, deepening the kiss. I growled, gripped her hips, I adjusted her body so she was now straddling me. She gasped, causing her mouth to open, I took the opportunity to slip my tongue in. I was bent over, clutching my desk, my throbbing erection threatening to combust. I could feel them, it felt like I was there with them. Sparks lighting up across my face, neck, and c**k. I'd feel them faintly here and there, but things must have gotten very heated. I was almost disappointed when they stopped. I almost wished I was there with them. I could keep her safe and out of sight, no one would know about her. I could take a chosen Luna to be a decoy and birth my heirs. I stroked the stubble that covered my jaw, chuckling darkly. I checked over my shoulder one more time to make sure I wasn't followed and then entered the clearing. I saw a large brown wolf appear from the bushes, I knew immediately who it was. I watched as he transformed back into a man, a very naked man. He picked up a pair of shorts he had been carrying in his wolf form.

"I'm here, pendejo, now get it over with." I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes.

"Me? No you do it." He said as he stood before me. My mouth watered at the sight of him, hard muscles and a perfectly defined v that led right into his shorts. His chuckling made my eyes snap up to his face.

"You don't want to reject me." He shook his head with a smug expression.

"Of course I do." I huffed. My eyes widened as he stepped closer to me, our bodies almost touching.

"Is that true, mate?" He raised hand, stroking the length of my neck, stopping in the crook where his mark is supposed to go. I shivered as sparks shot out across my body.

"Tell me, do I repulse you that much?" His voice was deep and husky, his smell of fresh pine invading my senses.

"I..." I couldn't form words, my brain turned to mush as our eyes locked. His deep brown eyes sucked me in.

"I can smell you." He whispered, his lips just a hair away from mine. I whimpered when his hand lowered to my tank top, running across the swell of my breasts. A possessive growl ripped out of his chest as he pushed me into grass, his lips crashed with mine.
