Our Luna, Our Mate Chapter 46 Eros's POV

Heading for our father's room, Ares and Kai both move to follow me. Knowing that father needed to know was more important than letting another pack fall at the hands of the Rogue King. Even if they deserve it?" asks Deimos as we continue our short walk to our parents room.

"Yes, even if they deserve it. Because as much as Ares and I hate the Moon Walker Pack, no other pack should have to face its struggle with the Rogue King' I admit even though I knew that pack deserved whatever punishment they got. Approaching the room, I move to knock on their door. Knowing that both our parents were still awake. Waiting, I move to knock again. "Enter" calls Alarick's voice.

Taking a deep breath I move to take the handle with my hand before moving to twist it, our parents somewhere inside the room. "Mom, Dad.. Can we talk to you for a second? It's important" I call out to them, before slowly entering the room with Ares and Kai. "Of course you can son" answers Alarick now in Alpha mode as he moves to sit up straighter on the couch. Mom and Dad casually sitting on the sola of their sitting area as they read.

Entering the room, Mom gestures to us as we each move to have a seat. Once seated, does she speak up. "Ares, Eros, what seems to be the problem?" asks Gwen to her children, her eyes lilled with concern as she looks at the three of them. "Is something wrong with Athena? Athena?" "Heavens no mother. She's sleeping at the moment. But that's not why we're here. We're here because Kai has learned that Lily is working with the Rogue King. He's keeping tabs on Athena through her" I explain baffled that Lily would do such a thing. "Ha, I'm not...Are you really shocked that she would do such a thing? Lily would do anything to hurt mate' growls Deimos.

Ignoring Deimos I try to keep my focus on my parents. "What? Why?" asks Gwen, worried for her new daughter-in-law. "Like anyone psycho would. He wants her to be his Queen" growls Ares, trying to control hist

"MOM!" I exclaim, startling her. "Everything we've just said is all true. Kai heard and saw it all. Both Ares and I were both in the forest beforehand when he tried to attack our mate. The Rogue King is unstable and won't stop until he has her" I say, angry at the fact I couldn't protect my mate.

"Easy there son, just relax. No one is taking Athena. Not if we can help it. Now Kai, can you please tell me what exactly happened when you went to follow Lily" asks Alarick, his focus now on Kai

Looking to his Alpha, Kai only nods as he moves to tell Alarick everything that had transpired between Lily and the Rogue King. Even up to the point when the Rogue King was going to talk with the Moon Walker pack and how they failed to hand over Athena when they were supposed to.

"Not good. Not good at all" murmurs Alarick as he listens to everything Kai had just said.

"So what do we do now dad?" asks Ares, wondering what his father was going to do now.

"For now? I shall try to contact Alpha Blackwood in hopes of warning him of the upcoming visit with the Rogue King. As for the Rogue King, all I can do is pass on the information to the council and the Lycan King himself. Hoping that they have answers to which we seek. But that is all we can do unless the Rogue King waged war on us" replies Alarick, hating the fact his hands were tied as he moves to call his friend, Alpha Paul, hoping it wasn't too late to be reaching out to him.

Setting g his book aside, Alarick moves over to his desk and a phone that sat there. Taking the phone he moves to dial a number that would take him directly to Alpha Paul. Waiting, he moved to listen as the phone rang only to hang up when no one answered. "No answer Glancing to the clock on the wall, he notices that it read late into the evening. "I shall have to try again in the morning. For now I think it's best if we all went to bed" explains Alarick to those within the room.

Each of them drained from the events leading up "Thanks for trying dad" admits Eros as he too felt defeated at not reaching Alpha Blackwood as he and Ares both move to hug their parents good night.

"Of course son, now off to bed with you" shoos Alarick, as he moves to hug his sons before sending off towards there room along with Kai. Everyone needing a good night's rest. Tomorrow was another day. Exiting the room, Kai, Ares and I all move to stand in the hallway, each of us looking to one another. "Nite Kai, we'll keep you posted on what father replaces out in the morning" remarks Ares as

focused on his Beta.

"Thank you, good night you two. See you in the morning" was all Kai says as he moves to head for his own suite. Lucas currently waiting for his return as he moves to walk down a flight of stairs and to where the Beta suite was.

Once Kai is gone from sight, does Ares and I move to focus on our own task at hand. "We better not tell Athena about this until we absolutely need to. No sense in worrying her about her evil pack" I gently say to my brother.

"Agreed" is all he says as we move to join our mate. Sleep sounds good right about now as we move to enter our own room. Athena already asleep on the bed. Smiling, we move to strip off our clothes before carefully climbing in next to her, each of us wrapping an arm gently around her as she slept.
