Ximena's POV

One week later

"Girl, can you breathe in that house?" Ria gasped. I sighed.

"Show me more," she urged. I raised my phone higher to give her a clearer view.

"Oh my goodness! Is that the latest new edition bags? In different colors? You could make a fortune out of all this. And what are those? Flowers too?" Ria continued to gush. I called her to give her a view of what my house now looks like for the past week. The boys weren't joking when they said they would buy the entire mall. My house now looks like a freaking mall.

Clothes, bags, shoes, accessories, flowers. It was filled with different gifts from the living room to my bedroom.

"What am I going to do with all this?" I asked, glancing around my room.

"Wear them. What else? But these are so gorgeous. Anyway, you need to get ready to meet your in-laws. Bye and make sure you tell me everything later," she said.

"Don't work too much and say hi to John for me," I replied.

"I will," she responded before hanging up. I smiled. It was nice having Ria as a friend. I only had John before so I couldn't tell him everything but having a girlfriend, and having Ria to speak to about some things was amazing. I was already dressed so I put on some light make-up and started to make my way downstairs. I stumbled on a box downstairs but I quickly steadied myself.

"Are you okay mummy? Mady almost tripped on the boxes in our rooms too," Mason said.

"Really? Is she okay?" I asked worriedly.

"I'm fine," she said, coming into the living room.

"I need to call someone to pack this all up. Someone could get seriously hurt," I replied.

"Are you both ready? Can we go now?" I asked. They both nodded. I held their hands as we both made our way downstairs. I drove towards the triplet's pack house and we arrived soon enough. I didn't need to ring the doorbell because the door was already wide open with them all standing outside.

"Emma, it's so good to see you," Luna Lila said with a smile.

"Good evening everyone. It's nice to see you too, Luna Lila," I replied equally with a smile.

"Please call me mother and him, father as well. We are all family after all," she said before quickly walking towards the twins. She bent to their level. I smiled, mother, father. That sounded nice. It's been a long time since I said that word.

"Hello, cuties. It feels so good to finally meet my grandchildren. Come here," she said, pulling them into a hug.

"It's nice to know we have grandparents too. Especially a grandma so nice and beautiful," Mady replied. Mother chuckled.

"Thank you, Mady, I see you have a way with words."

"Isn't your grandpa nice and handsome as well?" the triplet's father asked.

"You are handsome too," Mason assured him with a straight face. We all laughed.

"Let's go in, otherwise dinner might get cold," she said.

"I brought fruits. It's organically made. It's very good for your health," I said, handing over the basket of fruits to her. I didn't want to come empty-handed regardless of how fondly they thought of us.

"You didn't have to but thank you," she said as she took it from me. She held the twins' hands and led them inside. My eyes finally met with the triplets.

"Hi," I muttered with a smile.

"Hello beautiful," they all replied. My smile grew wider, feeling my cheeks starting to get warm.

"Don't just stand there. Come in," mother urged. We all walked towards the dining table and took our seats.

"It's so nice of you to come with the twins for dinner today," Father said.

"It was really nothing. They are your grandchildren after all and I can't stop you from meeting them," I responded politely with a smile.

"Emma, come and help me out with taking out the desert," Mother said. I nodded and followed her to the kitchen.

"I really want to thank you for bringing the kids over today despite everything that has happened. I can't believe all those things happened right here in this pack but I had absolutely no idea. I'm really sorry. You have no idea how sorry I am. You have been through a lot and you deserve all the happiness in the world. Even if that happiness does not lie with my sons. Regardless of what might happen, I will still see you as my daughter," she continued. I felt myself tear up at her words. If only she knew that her sons were my happiness, without them I would just be an empty shell.

"Thank you for saying that. It means a lot," I replied. She nodded with a smile.

"Anytime, darling."

We got to the desert and headed outside. Everyone was speaking and laughing including Mason. He rarely laughed. We ate dinner and chattered non-stop. The conversations flowed naturally like we'd known each other forever. I got up and went outside to receive a work-related phone call. After that, I turned around to head back inside but an arm stopped me.

"Don't move," Alex said, turning my back towards him. He gently brushed my hair to one side and slipped a necklace around my neck. I looked down at it and gasped. It was shaped in the form of a crescent moon. It shone very brightly and it didn't feel heavy at all. "Do you like it?" Julian asked. I turned towards them.

"I love it. It's very beautiful," I replied with a smile.

"It's a symbol of what we really feel. It represents our hearts and if you don't want it, you can take it off now but that would mean you are rejecting our hearts as well," Philip said.

"This past few weeks with you have been amazing Emma and we want to officially be with you, have a mating ceremony, and get married but that is only if you want to. If you don't want to, we won't force you. We want you to be happy," Julian added with a sincere smile. These past few weeks have also been really amazing for me as well. I felt their sincerity and now, I can't afford to let them go, not again. I took a deep breath and did the only thing that was hindering us from being together.

"I, Emma Garcia, accept Alexander Martinez, Julian Martinez, and Philip Martinez as my mates once again," I said with a determined look and a small smile. They looked at me in shock.

"Took you long enough," Freya purred, my eyes flickering a golden hue. I suddenly felt something inside of me rise, like broken pieces. The wind whooshed in and whipped through my hair. Although it would take time for the mate bond to be fully whole again, our wolves would make things easier because they always wanted this, we just made it difficult for them.

"We accept Emma Garcia as our mate too," they said simultaneously, their eyes also flickering a golden hue. Almost immediately, I felt their presence. It felt like all the senses in my body suddenly heightened and I could feel their warm presence that soothed me, hear their beating heart, that pounded hard as they stared at me. I'm sure they could also hear mine.

"Thank you, Emma, for giving us a second chance regardless of what everyone else thinks, you won't regret it," Alex said.

"I'm sure I won't," I replied. This time around, I felt like we could truly make this work. It would take a lot of time but I had faith in their feelings for me. I believed them when they said they would never do anything to hurt me again. Besides, the only obstacle stopping us from being together from the start was gone now. They would be nothing more to hinder us from being together.

I felt a sudden surge of emotions, harder and faster than ever that made me feel dizzy.

"Are you okay?" Julian asked, holding me by the arm to support me. His sudden touch felt like electricity just ran through me. I pulled away in shock and felt another wave of dizziness. Philip was quick to hold onto me this time around. He trailed his fingers across my arm and everywhere his fingers touched tingled and felt hot all over. What is this new feeling? I thought as I gulped.

My throat felt parched like I had just run a marathon. We all stared at each other with ragged breaths.

"Want to stay over with the kids?" Alex inquired. I don't know. Should we? Am I ready to take that step?

I stared into their pleasure-filled eyes, almost hearing their desperate pleading voices. How I've missed those looks. I could not help but succumb to what I was feeling and nod in agreement.

"I will stay over," I said, my voice raspy and needy. I could not seem to recognize my voice anymore.
