Owned By Her Triplet Bullies
(Bk 2) Chapter 11

Mason's POV

I sat with a blank and uninterested expression on my face but underneath that, I was tired, my head hurt from the shouting, my fingers hurt from the signing and my hands ached from the constant pulling. "Stay in your line, students. Don't make this place rowdy," the teacher called out loudly.

"Mason, I'm your number one fan. Can I have a picture with you?" a girl from the school of the next pack to us asked.

"No," I replied curtly, handing over the signed textbook to her. She collected it from me and another girl came forward. I've been at this for the past three hours. A quiz competition was held at Crescent High this morning where different schools from different packs were present. I represented Crescent High as always and I won as usual. Since then, the other students had requested to get a picture with me and have me sign on their books.

At first, I had vehemently refused. There was no way I was going to do something like that when I was not a celebrity but the principal made me do it. She said something about promoting the school image and motivating other schools and younger kids to be like me. I glanced back and she smiled at me with a thumbs up. Talk of the devil.

I frowned when I noticed the student in front of me was not placing her books on the table. I looked up at her. She was staring at me with a huge grin on her face like she was in a daze.

"Do you want to get your book signed or what?" I asked. She jolted and hurriedly placed her books in front of me. I took them and began to sign. After I was done, I handed them over to her. She held onto the books and my hand together. I raised my head from the table in surprise and she was giggling quietly with her head bowed. I withdrew my hands quickly even though her grip was firm. She winked at me and hurriedly placed her books on her flushed cheeks before moving away.

I scoffed in disbelief. I've encountered different types of girls today. One even pretended to take a picture with me just to sit on my thighs and try to kiss me. Of course, she couldn't. My reflexes were faster than she could ever be. I also received countless mobile numbers. I looked back at the principal again.

"For the well-being of the school, calm down," she mouthed with a smile. I sighed and turned away only to be met by the hateful gaze of none other than Lexi. Her arms were linked with Mady's. After that incident at our home, I never saw her again till today. Mady waved at me excitedly before dragging Lexi along. That little brat! When she asked for a photo of me, I knew something was amiss but I didn't pay much attention to it. Only for me to replace out that I was representing the school in a competition at the very last minute. I had sworn that I would never represent the school ever again because of what I was currently going through and Mady had agreed to start doing the quiz instead of me only to replace out that she had put my name there behind my back.

"Hi, brother. You sure are having fun," she said with a wide smile. I glared at her.

"How could you do that after promising you would be representing the school instead of me?" I asked through gritted teeth. She shrugged.

"Let's face the hard truth. Quizzes are just not my thing. Besides, I could never pull a crowd like you are right now. Will you sign on my books too?" she teased.

"Get out," I said. She laughed.

"Lexi, he looks like he's having a lot of fun right?" she asked. I was avoiding her gaze on purpose.

"He is. He seems to be enjoying the attention of the girls way too much," she responded emphasizing the 'girls.

"And what is that supposed to mean?" I asked, staring at her sharply.

"I don't know. What was that supposed to mean? You should know better than anyone right?" she retorted. She glanced at the books on my table and the girls waiting in line.

"Have fun with your book signing event specially made for girls," she said dryly. "Mady, I can't stay here anymore. I would rather be resting than be here," she continued. "That's right. You should be resting. I will come with you," she replied. She shook her head.

"No, stay here if you want. I just need to take a quick nap," she said.

"But, you can't be alone..."

"I'm fine, Mady. I'm not a kid," she said with a smile. She hurriedly waved at her as she left, before Mady could insist any further. Mady moved out of the line and started chatting with some of the students from other schools with a smile. She was such a social butterfly.

"Can you sign my books too?" I heard a voice asking, only that this voice was deep and masculine. A voice I knew too well. I glanced up at his covered face, from the way his eyes squinted, I could tell he was smiling. He raised a brow at me.

"You don't look happy to see me. I thought you were going to jump for joy with a smile on your face once I gave you a surprise visit. I can see I'm in for a huge disappointment again," he said.

"When did you get back?" I inquired.

"I just got back from the airport and you were the first person I came to see. If I knew I was going to get this kind of treatment, I would have just gone to a hotel first," he grumbled.

"I didn't ask you to come see me first so don't complain about it," I retorted.

"Excuse me, you are cutting the line," a girl behind him said. He turned around and asked. "Me?"

"Yes, you. Who else would I be speaking to? You just came in and you went right to the front when most of us have been waiting in line for hours. If you want to get your books signed, you should wait at the back of the line like all of us did. It's not like you are any more special than all of us. Have some dignity," the girl scolded him sternly. He chuckled.

"I see you are still a hotshot Mason. Did one of your fans just scold me?" he asked in disbelief.

"Why? You can't believe it? Aren't you his fan as well? If you aren't then why are you here?" the girl replied. I continued to sign my books without looking up at them.

"Wow! This is unbelievable and a first," he muttered, taking off his face mask.

"You look familiar. By any chance, do I know you?" the same girl asked curiously.

"I don't know. Do you?" he replied.

"Torres!" I heard Mady exclaim in surprise.

"The one and only babe," he responded with wide arms. She ran into his arms and he twirled her around happily. She giggled non-stop.

"No way. It's Torres," the girl yelled, drawing attention to him. Everybody started to scream excitedly as cameras flashed. I rubbed my aching head with a sigh. Allow me to introduce Torres and why everyone was going crazy over him.

Torres was what the blogs referred to as one of the youngest business tycoons. Even though he was only eighteen years old, he owned most of the thriving businesses in the country from estates, hotels, cars, and a clothing brand. He was also one of the most eligible bachelors who most girls wanted to be mated with. And this business tycoon attended our school.

"You've gotten prettier since the last time I saw you. Your beauty is blinding," he said, shielding his eyes from Mady's view. She hit his arm playfully.

"Okay, no more boring book signing or whatever you've been doing. Let's go," he said, dragging my pen from my hands.

"You can't tell me what to do," I replied.

"Principal," he called out in a sing-song voice. She quickly stepped forward.

"You are right Mr. Fernandez. I think Mr. Martinez has had enough for today. He looks tired anyway. Everyone, we will have to stop here today. We will continue some other time. Leave now," the principal ordered. The students grumbled and complained but they had no other choice. At the door, they were asked for their cellphones to delete any photo or video they must have taken of us without permission. I leaned back in my chair.

"Silence at last," Torres muttered with a smile.

"When did you get back?" Mady inquired curiously.

"Twenty minutes ago. I came straight from the airport to see my favorite twins," he replied.

"We are glad to see you too," Mady said.

"Then, that calls for a celebration. Mason won a competition so it calls for a double celebration," he stated with a grin. I groaned. He still hasn't changed one bit. "Party!" he said out loud.
