Owned By Her Triplet Bullies
(Bk 2) Chapter 77

Mason's

POV

Lexi looked at me in shock, the same as the others but Rachel smiled.

Did she perhaps think I was speaking to her? And I never let her sit in front. Mady always sat in front. The only time that happened was when I drove her home during the cold. A moment I had completely forgotten about till she mentioned it. "Of course," she replied with a smile pushing Lexi aside.

"I wasn't referring to you," I deadpanned, stopping her abruptly inher steps. She stared at me in surprise.

"What?" she asked.

"Come on Lexi, get in," I repeated.

"Lexi?" Mia whispered. What were they doing in the parking lot now of all time?

"He was referring to Lexi as babe? Why? Are they going out or what?" Ana also asked in a hushed whisper. I glanced at Lexi who looked nervous. I walked towards her and held her hand giving her a reassuring smile

"Your assumptions are all right. I'm dating Lexi," I declared firmly in a loud tone so they could all hear me clearly. I heard countless gasps and Lexi held my hand tighter. They were already suspecting it so there was no need to hide it away from them. Besides, I was tired of hiding. I want to be able to hold her hand in public and claim her as mine. I was tired of sneaking around.

"Took you long enough. Congratulations to both of you. I'm happier than you can imagine. Especially for you Mason. I thought this day would never come," Torres said grinning widely. Mady had a smile on her face, Rachel looked as pale as a plain sheet while the main four looked like they just heard that a war was declared on our pack.

"Un-f*****g-believable!" Mia exclaimed.

"W...why? Why are you dating her? Are you perhaps sick? Did you hit your head somewhere? Mady, you should check your brother, he might be sick or Lexi must have something against him," Carla remarked.

Evelyn nodded vehemently in agreement. "That's definitely it. She must be blackmailing him..."

"So what? You want him to dump her for you?" Mady asked with a raised brow. Ana fixed her hair and raised her shoulders. They all squared up behind her defensively.

"What's wrong with us? Any sane person with eyes will choose us over her," Carla retorted.

"What's wrong with you? You all have rotten personalities. You look down on others and belittle them because of your status. But, Lexi is a thousand times better than you all will ever be and I support Mason's decision completely," Mady declared. Torres nodded in agreement.

They all glanced at each other in shock. I trusted Mady was going to have my back, no matter what.

"Lexi makes me happy and I don't care about your opinions. And that's not all," I deadpanned.

"There's more? Don't tell me she's pregnant. My poor heart wouldn't be able to take that," Ana said looking horrified.

"...she's pregnant?" Torres stuttered.

"Of course not," I replied. He heaved a sigh of relief.

"Lexi is not just my girlfriend. She's..."

"Mason, what are you doing?" she whispered, cutting me off and trying to pull away.

"Trust me. We will need to tell them sooner or later," I assured her. I was ready to let everyone know that we were mates. I was sure this news was going to spread like wildfire. There was even the risk of my parents replaceing out. "Tell us what?" Mady asked with a frown.

"Lexi is also my mate," I declared. Rachel stumbled, almost falling on the floor but Mady was fast enough to hold her.

"Are you okay?" she asked.

"Don't touch me," she uttered, roughly removing her arm. She stood up properly and turned around to leave.

"Where are you going? We still need to be present for dinner," Mady called out alter her.

I'm not in the mood anymore. Send my regards to the Alpha," she said rudely and walked off. I knew she was upset but hiding the truth wouldn't change the truth.

"Anna! Are you okay!" The main four exclaimed. I turned towards them to see that Ana had passed out. Did the news shock them that much?

"We should go. We are going to be late," Mady said. I pulled Lexi towards 77: Mate announcement

the car.

"Was that really necessary? Everyone is so shocked," Lexi said worriedly getting into the car.

"Let them be. We can't help it if they are," I replied, starting the car

"But still, is it okay? You mentioned your parents."

Iheld her hand tightly.

"It's fine. They were going to replace out anyway.

How do you feel?"

"Surprisingly, I feel okay. I was a bit nervous at first but I'm fine. It feels like a huge weight has just been lifted off my shoulders," she replied with a smile. I glanced at her. "All you had to do was trust me but you didn't. You will have to make up for it," I said.

"Make up for it, how?" she asked curiously.

"You know how. That's the only way I will be in a good mood," I responded. Her eyes widened.

"That? Right now?" she inquired in surprise. I nodded, gesturing towards my lips.

".but you are driving," she stuttered.

"It doesn't matter," I said. Mady cleared her throat loudly bringing us both to reality. I had completely forgotten they were both here.

"Are you both done?" she asked. Lexi looked out of the window embarrassed. I sighed, turning my gaze back to the road.

"Why did you sigh? Are you disappointed that we intervened in your little romance? I never pegged you as this type of person Mason, you surprise me every day," Torres said shaking his head at me

"Your public display of affection isn't the problem right now. Since when did you two replace out you were mates? These things don't take long and are based on the fact that he complained about you which he never does about anyone else. How come I didn't replace that out sooner..."

"He complained about me?" Lexi muttered in surprise.

"My guess is you found out on the first day of school, that was the first day Lexi came right?" she asked confidently. I hummed in response.

She smacked my head out of annoyance. "I knew it!"

"What was that for?" I groaned.

"How could you keep this from me for so long? All this while, I thought +25 Points

you were both enemies. Meanwhile, you've been sneaking around behind our backs. This was right underneath my nose but yet 1 didn't see it," she muttered. I stopped the car right in front of the pack house.

"We should go in. We will talk about this later," I said, stepping out of the car I grabbed Lexi's hand and rushed towards the front door.

"Can you see that?" Mady asked in disbelief. I rang the doorbell and it opened immediately.

"Good evening sir and.ma'am," they greeted politely after seeing us holding hands. I wanted Lexi to start getting the level of respect I was getting. I hated the fact that she was looked down upon.

"Evening," I replied curtly as we both walked in. Dinner was a culinary delight. The aromas of a carefully prepared feast filled the air, teasing the senses with the promise of delectable dishes. Plates were served with an array of savory and colorful creations, from succulent roasted meats to vibrant, garden-fresh vegetables. Candles flickered on the table, casting a warm and intimate glow. As usual, Uncle Xander never settled for less.

"My favorite twins," he said, walking towards us with a smile.

"Isn't this too much? It's just us," Mady said, glancing around.

"Nothing is too much for my favorite twins," he replied, waving her worries off.

"This is the reason why you are my favorite uncle. Don't tell anyone I told you that," she whispered covering one side of her mouth with her hands.

"Don't tell anyone I said this either but you are my favorite niece. But I'm not sure I can promise you that. I'm going to boast about this to John," he replied. I rolled my eyes.

"Torres and Lexi. Thank you for honoring my invitation," he said.

"Thank you for inviting me, Alpha. It's my pleasure," Lexi replied politely

"You knew I wasn't going to stay back if you didn't invite me anyway.

You didn't have any other choice uncle," Torres retorted. He was about to respond but his eyes fell on our entwined hands.

"Whatever's going through your mind, it's right," I said. He gasped in surprise.

"Your mate, finally. Do your parents know?" he asked curiously. I shook my head.

"Let's eat. I'm famished," Mady said, changing the subject. Aunt Judith walked out of the kitchen with some dishes in her hands.

xchanged pleasantries. My phone dinged but it was a message from Rachel. lignored it till I got a call. From the hotel? Why were they calling me? I picked it up and placed it on my ears without speaking. "Sorry to disturb your evening sir but this is about Miss Rachel," he started.
