Sean gasped in pain.

He frowned deeply, forcing down the painful cry that almost got out of his mouth.

“It hurts a bit. Tough it out.”

Sean snorted deeply.

Was he a kid in her eyes?

“Cut the crap.”

Amber fell silent. The pain in Sean’s back almost occupied all of his senses. The burning sensation stung him and his forehead covered with a thin layer of cold sweat.

It hurt like hell. It was the kind of pain that couldn’t be ignored at all.

Sean closed his eyes.

A small hand covered his forehead gently. Cindy helped wiped the sweat on Sean’s forehead.

Sean raised his eyes and looked into Cindy’s big eyes.

“What are you doing?”

Cindy wiped the sweat on Sean carefully, “Dad, fortunately you didn’t hurt your face, otherwise you would be ugly.”

Sean was speechless.

It was okay to be ugly.

He was not an unmarried woman. What was the use of being pretty?

“Go aside!”

Cindy successfully distracted Sean. Amber knelt on the bed and applied medicine for Sean carefully.
