Purchased A Mr. Right
Chapter 1032

When Anthea woke up again, it was dawn outside.

She was awakened by the pain in her right abdomen. The anesthesia had completely worn off now, and the pain became more serious. As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw Adam sitting next to the hospital bed.

The curtain was not closed, and the sun had just risen, so it should only be six o'clock.

The light in the room was not very strong, but Adam' s silhouette was very clear. A few wisps of very shallow sunshine fell on his military green shirt, reflecting a faint halo, which made him look very warm. Adam sat on a chair, with his long legs crossed idly. His back was straight, his chiseled chin slightly lowered, and his eyes were closed. He maintained his posture and slept there. 'He stayed here all night?'

Anthea forgot all the pain and looked at him blankly.

Her eyes fell from Adam's handsome face to his hand. To be precise, it was the hands of the two of them.

Because one of his big hands was held tightly by her. It seemed that it had been too long, and the blood in her hand didn't flow freely. She felt that every joint of her hand was numb.

Even so, she did not loosen her grip. On the contrary, she clenched her fist even tighter.

Such a small action seemed to wake Adam up. Anthea instantly felt guilty and closed her eyes, trying to pretend to be asleep.

"You're awake?"

The deep and thick male voice was tinged with the hoarseness.

Anthea almost forgot that he was a soldier, who could see through her little trick at once. She opened her eyes helplessly and rubbed them with embarrassment. "Well, Yeah, I just woke up."

The warm touch between her fingers disappeared. Adam got up from the chair.

Anthea's fingers curled up. Somehow, there was a little sense of loss in her heart.

Adam stood beside the bed and saw that Anthea looked better than yesterday. However, she was still a little weak. He asked, "How do you feel?"

"There's a bit of pain in the wound!" Anthea answered with a grimace.

"It's normal. You will recover after a while." Adam comforted her and said, "Try not to lie flat all the time. You'd better lie on your side and walk around at times. In this way, it can promote the enterocinesia, and also prevent the bowel adhesion. If the pain is too much for you, I can ask the nurse to give you a little amount of analgesics. Now you can't eat or drink. You must wait until there is peristalsis in intestines. Otherwise, you'll have the abdominal distension. Do you remember?"

Anthea nodded obediently and looked at him in admiration. "You are so knowledgeable, uncle."

"I asked the doctor," Adam replied.

Looking at his serious and cold eyes, Anthea was slightly stunned. She had never thought that a professional soldier like him could be so thoughtful. The soldiers had always been rough in her impression, but Adam was attentive to every detail.

Seeing that she suddenly frowned again, Adam thought that there was something wrong with her, so he asked with concern, "What's wrong?"

Anthea blinked her eyes and asked shamelessly, "What the hell is the enterocinesia?"

Adam paused and then replied, "Fart."

Anthea blushed.

She should have checked on the internet by herself. When she saw the stubble on his chin, she couldn't help asking, "You didn't leave and have been in the ward with me all night?" "Yes." Adam nodded. Thinking that he had been guarding her all night, Anthea suddenly felt that she was not alone in this city that she was not familiar with. Besides her grandfather, Adam could also accompany her when she was

ill.

"You must be tired." She said softly to him.

"I'm fine." Adam replied indifferently.

He was not being polite, because sleeping when sitting on the chair for a night was nothing to him. When he went out for a task or during the practical maneuver, there were more difficult and unbearable situations. Not to mention sitting, it was even common for him to stand against the tree and sleep.

Anthea looked around and asked, "Would you like to have another bed so that you can have a rest?"

"It's not allowed to get more beds during the day in the hospital." Adam shook his head.

Hearing this, Anthea frowned and bit the corner of her mouth. She just thought that Adam didn't have a good rest last night and blurted out. "Well, I can move to the side, and you sleep here on the bed." After she finished speaking, her face instantly went red.

'Am I an idiot?' She thought to herself.

What on earth was she talking about? She was his niece, and it would be very inappropriate for them to sleep on the same bed.

"No need." Adam said in a low voice and stretched out his hand to touch the cigarette box in his trouser pocket. "I'm going out to have a cigarette."

He went out of the ward and came to the smoking area where there was no one else. After lighting the cigarette up, he made a phone call.

Although it was very early now, the one he called still answered the phone very quickly. He heard a loud and respectful voice. "Hello, Captain Chin!"

"I need you to bring me a set of toiletries," Adam ordered.

The seriousness on Carter's face immediately disappeared. With a cheeky grin, he whispered, "Boss, what happened? Why did you ask me to bring you toiletries so early in the morning? Did you fool around outside the whole night?"

Then, before Adam could make a sound, Carter continued with his imagination. "That's not right! There should be toiletries in the hotel! Eh... is it so intense? Did you have sex in the woods?"

"No!" The corner of Adam's mouth twitched.

"In the car?" Carter asked shyly.

Adam's handsome face darkened. He bellowed in a deep voice, "No! Bring the toiletries to the hospital."

After that, he didn't want to listen to another word and directly hung up.

Carter, who was holding the phone on the other side, sighed with emotion. "He is so strong. Even get the girl to the hospital!"

Soldiers were all well-trained and did everything efficiently. Half an hour later, Carter already arrived at the hospital with a new wash bag and an urge to gossip.

He knocked on the door of the ward and walked inside. When he saw the person lying on the hospital bed, his eyes lit up. "Anthea!"

"Brother Carter!" Anthea politely greeted him.

She remembered that she had misunderstood him and Adam before, so she lowered her head in embarrassment.

But Carter regarded her reaction as shyness, and his eyes brightened even more. He looked at his boss by the window with an expression, which showed that he had already expected this. Look, he had long felt that there was something between his boss and this little girl!

Adam held back the urge to punch Carter and asked with a frown, "The toiletries?"

Carter came forward flatteringly and said, "Captain Chin, they're all here!"

"Go downstairs and wait for me!" Adam said in a deep voice.

"Yes, sir!" Carter nodded and quickly left. He even closed the door of the ward considerately.

Adam had been staying in the hospital last night. At this moment, he took the wash bag and went into the bathroom to wash up.

Not long after he entered the bathroom, he heard a dandy voice coming from outside the door. "Anthea, I'm here to see you!"
