Purchased A Mr. Right -
Chapter 1102
Without exerting too much strength, he easily took her into his arms. In his arms, she was as good and quiet as a little kitten.
Anthea did not struggle. Quietly, she raised her two drooping hands and put them on his strong waist, hugging him tightly with a red face.
The moonlight sparkled on the quiet flowing river.
After a long time, Anthea nibbled her lips and asked shyly in a soft voice, 'Adam, are we in a relationship?" She looked as fresh and lovable as new sprouts in March.
"Sure." Adam said in a low voice.
When Anthea heard this, she hugged him even tighter.
She nuzzled her face up against his chest as much as she could, her heart full of excitement.
From now on, Adam would be her man...
She did not want to let go of him, feeling safe in his strong arms. This man stood tall like a mountain.
Looking up at his deep-set black eyes, she found his eyes as calm and deep as the sea under the moon. She felt as if she would sink in his eyes.
Her heart skipped a beat.
Anthea blinked her eyes and asked, "Then, can I call you sweetheart?"
"Of course." Adam nodded.
"Sweetheart..." Anthea suddenly changed the way she addressed him.
"Mm." Adam's lips curled up.
It seemed that Anthea was addicted to it. She kept calling him sweetheart sweetly as if she would never be tired of it. "Sweetheart, sweetheart..." Adam smiled happily. "Are you a recorder?"
Anthea put her head against his left chest, listening to his heartbeats. Still, she could not believe it. "What can I do? I always feel like I'm dreaming!" "You're not." Adam's palm landed on her head.
Anthea heaved a long sigh and said, "Alas! Now all my sufferings have their reward. In the past, I followed you so closely like a shameless little puppy, but you were as cold as an iceberg. Finally, you are mine!"
Adam could not help laughing. "Wasn't it me who confessed my love first?"
Anthea snorted. "But you did it partly because of my earlier revolutionary efforts!"
She was right, so Adam did not refute it.
Anthea looked up at him, her dark eyes on her elfin face sparkling like gems. Her happiness overflowed from the bottom of her heart. "Adam, I'm so happy!"
Adam did not say anything. Instead, he tightened his grip on her and held her much tighter.
As their love had burgeoned forth in their heart, they could no longer stay calm.
He was as happy as she was.
Anthea's phone vibrated in her pocket.
She took it out. It was just a spam message. She quickly scanned it and deleted it. But when she saw the time, she was shocked.
In his arms, she straightened up a little. "It's almost ten o'clock..."
Time passed so quickly! They had stayed by the river for almost an hour!
She finally realized how time could fly.
"Yes." Adam let go of her and said, "Let's go back."
At this time, Anthea was like a submissive little wife-she would say whatever he wanted.
Standing on the military boots, Adam took a step forward and stretched out his hand.
The lines on his palm facing upward were clear.
Anthea affected embarrassment for a while before putting her small hand on his.
Then, he entwined his fingers with hers.
When Adam caught her small hand, he felt her skin as smooth as silk.
Both of them felt a surge of love ran through them and could no longer take the heat out of them.
Then they walked back from the river hand in hand.
From time to time, Anthea would glance at their interlocked hands. The temperature on her face rose quickly, and she felt her ears burning. When she stole a few glances, Adam found her peeking at him.
Anthea was embarrassed and quickly came up with a question to divert his attention. "Will you spend the whole day in the headquarters?"
"Yes." Adam nodded. "There will be a meeting. Tomorrow, the rescue teams, the medical teams, and the volunteers will be divided into two batches and withdraw respectively in the morning and afternoon." "So, we're all going back?"
"That's right."
Adam fixed his gaze on her and said, "Wait for me in J City."
Anthea's face turned slightly red. "Okay..."
By this time, the settlement center had already quieted down. There were only a few soldiers passing by the military tents in the distance.
Anthea pointed at the tent a few steps away with her delicate chin. "My tent..."
She felt like crying. What could she do about it?
Her small hand hated to part with his big hand!
Anthea, gritting her teeth and hesitating for a while, finally pulled her little hand out of his palm. "Then I'll go in and sleep. You should go to bed early, too. Good night!"
After that, she lowered her eyes and was about to walk into the tent.
She lifted her foot and took two steps forward.
Adam suddenly seized her.
Anthea only felt a gust of wind passing her ear before he dragged her to the back of the tent.
"Ah..."
He swallowed all her unspoken words as he kissed her deeply.
Adam pressed her against the tent and held the back of her head, kissing her with passion.
His kiss deepened and became hungrier.
Anthea felt as if the sweetness from his kiss had flowed into her heart.
Her eyelashes trembled when he kissed her hard. She could not help rising on her toes to respond to his kiss.
When he finally released her, Anthea was dazed by the kiss. Her eyes
assumed a sort of dreamy expression, and her small pink lips were slightly open, like a budding flower bud.
Adam rubbed against her neck with his thumb tip, which was coarsened by years of gun practicing. He was very satisfied with her reaction to his kiss.
The corners of his mouth curled up as he said in an enchanting voice, "Anthea, good night."
"Good night..." She answered in a daze.
In the darkness, Anthea floated into the tent.
It was not until her beautiful figure disappeared from his sight that Adam reluctantly withdrew his eyes.
He took out a cigarette box from his pocket, lit it, and stuck it between his lips.
As he spat out a puff of white smoke, his happy smile finally faded a little.
Carter, who came out for the toilets, happened to see them kissing.
Seeing that Adam was in a good mood, Carter joyfully ran over to him and said, "Captain Chin, congratulations! You successfully win the girl you've been dreaming of!" "You're right, but shut up." Adam said and took a drag on his cigarette.
Carter rubbed his hands and smiled wickedly, "Hehe, since you're with her, she could be considered as my family as well!"
Adam did not say a word and just flicked the ashes in his hands.
When he put the cigarette back to his lips, he squinted at Carter and said, "I'll give you a week off when this anti-flood mission is over."
"What? What did you say just now?" Carter was shocked, thinking that he must have misheard. "Were you willing to give me a week off? Last time, I wanted to take two days off, but you refused me. But now, you offered me a whole free week! Ah, did I hear wrong?"
"So, you don't want it?" Adam raised his eyebrows.
"Yes, yes, yes!" Carte repeatedly nodded his head, like a chick pecking rice. He was overwhelmed by this unexpected favor. "Oh, Captain Chin! Why do you suddenly treat me so well? I almost cried with joy!" Adam ignored him this time and went straight back to his military tent.
Carter thought about it for a while and soon
understood the reason.
He had just called Anthea a family member...
He was indeed a highly competent subordinate of wisdom!
Meanwhile, Carter felt hurt as if being scorched by their intensive romantic love!
