Purchased A Mr. Right
Chapter 1105

Adam was struck dumb.

However, in the next second, her soft lips left his. Then she walked out of his sight.

Her sudden kiss, which took him by surprise, was a brilliant success. Adam shook his head and smiled, feeling a dash of joy.

Her kiss light as feather tickled his heart, which aroused him and intensified his gaze. Suddenly, he had the urge to drag her out of the tent and give her a lingering, hard kiss.

He would kiss her ardently until tears began to blur her vision and swallow all the words she was going to say. She could only look at him helplessly with her delicate pink lips slightly open...

In the end, he managed to restrain himself.

After forcefully taking a long drag on his cigarette, Adam turned to leave.

Shortly after dawn the next day, the rescue team set out again.

Anthea woke up early and ran into his teacher, Vincent, who was carrying a medical kit.

It was said that the rescue team saved another trapped family and sent them here. The blood pressure of an old man from this family seemed to be unstable. Vincent was on the way to see him, and Anthea went there with him.

The old man did not have a big problem. After taking two pills, he felt much better.

When they were about to help him back to the medical center, there were suddenly some splashing sounds coming from their right side - two soldiers swam up from the flood, with a boy about eight in their

arms.

The little boy's shirt was turned up, and his belly was exposed. His eyes were tightly closed, his lips pale. It seemed that he had lost consciousness.

Vincent had walked forward quickly. "What happened to him?"

"He was drowning!" The soldier found a flat place and put the little boy down. Panting, he said, "We went away to carry sacks of cement. When we came back, we saw him wandering in a dangerous place but didn't expect that he would fall into the flood in a blink of an eye!"

Seeing this, Anthea ran to the boy with Vincent.

She knelt on the other side of Vincent. He checked the child with a frown. Soon, he said, "He nearly drowned. Fortunately, he still has the pulse. It's not that serious. Hurry up and do CPR for him!" Anthea squatting in front of the little boy immediately knelt down to do the CPR upon hearing her teacher's words.

She picked up the little boy's shirt. With her hands crossed on his chest, she began to press his chest.

She pressed rhythmically and forcefully. Then she leaned over, opened his mouth, and lowered her head to give him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

After repeating the process for about five minutes, the unconscious boy suddenly choked and coughed twice. Some water came out from the corner of his mouth. Gradually, he opened his eyes. Seeing this, Anthea breathed a sigh of relief.

Vincent went forward to feel the pulse on his neck, then picked up the child, intending to send him to the medical site for further treatment.

Anthea also stood up in a hurry and picked up the medical kit on the ground.

When she looked up, she saw Adam and the others returning by rowing the rubber boats. In addition to those figures in green military uniforms, there were two old men in good state and a little girl. They must be the second trapped family being saved.

As their eyes met, Anthea's breathing stopped for a short while.

He looked unhappy.

However, Anthea could not wait for him to get off the boat, for she had to rush to the medical site. She did not know if the little boy was in danger or not, so she picked up the medical kit and ran away quickly. As their rescue was in time, the little boy was out of danger. At this time, he was lying on the hospital bed and was put on a drip.

Nothing to be alarmed about; Anthea had some sense of accomplishment in her heart.

It was not a serious case and she only did CPR for him, but it was the first time she saved a life since she became a medical student. As she walked out of the tent, she saw a familiar green figure passing by.

As Anthea put on a smile, two faint dimples appeared on her cheeks.

To her surprise, when Adam saw her, he did not intend to stop. Instead, he just gave her a light glance and then walked past her.

Huh?

Anthea was confused.

How could he turn a cold shoulder on her? She chased after him with a confused look.

Adam was tall and could walk quickly with his long legs. When Anthea caught up with him, he had returned to the military camp and was sitting on the iron bed, his long legs bending along the edge of the bed. His coat was put on the head of the bed.

He was wearing an army green vest, the muscles of his forearms firm and powerful.

He leaned forward slightly, so she could vaguely see his well-built abdominal muscles under the cloth and wondered if he had V lines...

Anthea blushed for her unspoken question, but when she looked up at him, she noticed that his face darkened at this time.

She blinked her eyes and walked up to him. "Hey, what's wrong with you?"

Adam was silent.

Anthea's mind went blank for a moment. Then, she reached out and poked his arm. It felt really hard. "Adam?"

"I'm fine." Adam uttered in a low voice.

"Impossible!" Anthea curled her lips in disbelief.

Although he was usually wearing a poker face, he was obviously displeased at this moment.

Anthea sat next to him and leaned toward him.

However, he did not even look at her! She pouted, feeling a little wronged. "How did I make you angry?"

"No, you didn't." Adam pulled his lips.

Anthea wrinkled her nose and eyebrows. "Since you don't want to talk about it, let's drop it then!"

She held her shoulders with both hands and moved away from him, turning her head away and leaving him alone. She was not that good-tempered!

There was a slight tension in the atmosphere of the tent.

Two seconds later, Adam spoke up in a deep voice, "You gave that boy mouth-to-mouth resuscitation."

"Yes?!" Anthea agreed at once and continued subconsciously, "You know what, that naughty child jumped onto the sacks of cement near water without knowing the danger. Luckily, he was saved; otherwise, he would drown..."

At the end of her words, it seemed that she suddenly thought of something. She looked at Adam uncertainly and asked, "Are you jealous?"

Surprisingly, Adam did not say anything, his jaw jutting stubbornly forward.

Anthea's eyes widened as she looked at him in disbelief. She almost jumped up! "Oh, my! You are jealous for real?!"

She just said it casually, but to her great surprise, she was correct!

"You kissed him," Adam said in a muffled, upset voice.

"Hahahaha!"

Anthea laughed out loud, feeling it both funny and annoying. She then said, "But he's just a kid!"

"But he is a male, too." Adam was serious.

Anthea was struck dumb again. She did not expect that he would be jealous because of a child! He was throwing a tantrum...

Even so, he was still a charming and lovable man in her eyes!

"I'm a medical student, and I'll be a doctor after graduation. This kind of thing is a normal thing for me to do!" Anthea came to him again, seized one of his arms, and said with a smile, "Ordinary people who know CPR will apply this first aid measure when they come across the same emergency situation, not to mention me. Since I want to be a doctor, I will deal with lots of cases like this in the future!" After listening to this, Adam frowned deeply and said, "Lots of?"

"Yes!" Anthea nodded with a smile.

She did not expect him to be so lovely!

Looking at the tense look on his face, Anthea was amused. "If I'm in the hospital, it would be okay because there is lots of professional equipment to help me. But if I encounter someone in danger like the boy outside, I have to perform CPR, an effective way to save people's lives. No matter what, I can't leave people to die without doing anything!"
