It seemed that Shelby had already said "hello" to the other two roommates.

After military training in the afternoon, Anthea had been together with Adam during the time for dinner. She then went straight to the basketball court for the gathering-up of the students. The roommate whose bed was next to Shelby's asked, "Shelby, is General Instructor Chin really your brother-in-law?"

As so many other students were looking at them, Anthea didn't dare to act coquettishly on the spot. She could only look at Adam in a pleading manner.

Adam's eyes swept across Anthea's face calmly, while his Adam's apple moved slightly. He then said in a low voice, "Join your team."

Anthea breathed a sigh of relief.

The students in the team looked at each other in amusement. They all thought that Anthea had narrowly escaped the punishment for being late simply because Shelby was General Instructor Chin's sister-in- law, and Anthea only profited from association with Shelby. Shelby, who came back to the team later than Anthea, had the same idea and her heart was beating fast out of excitement.

At 8:30 a.m., the students returned to the sports ground after breakfast.

Today's training was a little special. It was not physical training as usual. The students were required to bring their quilts to the sports ground. The instructor then taught the students how to fold up the quilts according to the way of the army.

After all the students had lined up, Adam whistled.

He stood there straight. His shoulders were square, while his back was of a handsome shape of an inverted triangle. He casually pointed his index finger to Anthea, who was standing there as an ordinary member in the queue, as if he didn't pick up Anthea on purpose. "Take your quilt and come over here. I'll demonstrate to everyone how to fold up the quilt."

The other students turned around and look at Anthea enviously. Once again, they felt that she was simply very lucky.

Anthea was the only student whom General Instructor Chin personally taught military gestures. Now, she was once again picked up by him. They thought this was only a coincidence.
