Purchased A Mr. Right
Chapter 1152

Anthea wasn't bored at home, but when the sun began to go down, she couldn't sit still anymore.

She couldn't wait to see him.

Anthea had wanted to behave like a sweet wife before, but after seeing his cooking skills, she gave up that idea. It seemed that he was about to come back, so she put on her shoes and ran downstairs.

She was like a little kitten that was sitting on the steps outside and waiting for her master's return.

After the military training, Adam had a meeting, which delayed him a while.

Anthea didn't feel impatient at all. When she saw the military green SUV driving in, her eyes lit up.

Adam also saw her. That was why he didn't drive into the underground garage but parked directly outside the building.

As soon as he stepped on the stairs, Anthea threw herself into his arms like a cannonball.

She was not afraid at all. She knew that he would catch her.

Adam held her slender waist and felt her gentle breath on his chest. It gave him butterflies in the

stomach.

He smiled. "Why are you sitting here?"

Anthea grinned and said, "I'll welcoming you home!"

She threw her arms around his neck and pressed against his chest. She didn't mind waiting for a long time. Rather, she was happy beyond description. Adam felt her happiness and smiled broadly. "I'm sweaty all over."

"I don't mind." Anthea shook her head.

Adam held her hand with their fingers crossed. Then, he led her into the building.

The elevator came up from the underground floor. It opened with a ding, and there was a middle-aged woman carrying a basket of vegetables in her hand.

The living quarters were in the military compound, and the people living here all had some military ties. Although they might not be very familiar with each other, they would greet each other when they met. This woman just happened to live a floor below Adam. Her car wouldn't start one day, and he gave her a hand. They were acquainted since then and would exchange a few words whenever they met. "Adam, did you just come back?"

"Yes." Adam nodded.

The middle-aged woman looked at the girl he was holding hands with and asked with a smile, "Is this your wife? She's so pretty! The two of you look like a perfect couple in TV shows!"

"Thank you." Adam smiled but didn't correct her.

Anthea stole a glance at him.

The woman seemed to be a very hospitable person. She couldn't stop talking once she started. She looked at her and said in a praising tone, "Young lady, you must be terrific. Only an outstanding woman can marry a soldier. You must be a virtuous wife. Adam is so lucky!"

Anthea felt the heat on her cheeks.

Although she regarded herself as a loving wife, she was still shy when she heard others talk about her that way. She lowered her gaze and hid beside Adam like a flower that was yet to bloom.

The elevator arrived on the 16th floor at that moment. The middle-aged woman picked up the basket and said, "This is me. Drop by my place when you have time. Bye!"

"Goodbye, Aunt," Adam said.

The elevator door closed again.

Adam glanced sideways and saw her lowered head. The flush had spread to her ears, and even her two small earlobes had turned red, which was adorable.

He rubbed the back of her hand with his finger and asked, "Feeling shy?" "Well, a little!" Anthea nodded shyly, and her voice was as tiny as a mosquito's. "And I don't think I deserve her praise..." Virtuous wife? she thought. She felt that she was incompetent!

"Yes, you do," Adam said.

Anthea was surprised. She blushed when she heard him say, "You've treated me very well."

Of course, she understood what he meant by "serving him well".

Even Anthea's neck turned red this time.

The elevator went up by one more level. Adam let her toward the door to their place. They were back at home.

While they were playing lovey-dovey in the elevator, they didn't know that there was an uninvited guest standing downstairs at this time.

Shelby stiffened, and her face darkened.

She suspected that there was something wrong with her eyes, but she clearly saw that Adam had indeed led the girl into the building.

At first, the flower bed blocked her sight, so Shelby couldn't see the girl's face clearly. But from the gaps, she could see a high ponytail, so she knew that it was a girl, and she also saw that the girl's forehead was very fair.

Adam was tall and strong, so he had also blocked the girl from Shelby's sight.

In the end, Shelby still didn't see clearly what that girl looked like. But there was one thing that she knew for sure: that girl was very young, and the two of them were obviously very close.

After Rory, her cousin, passed away, there had never been any women around Adam. Both the Hsu and the Jillson families were very satisfied with him. She also thought that no ordinary girl would be good enough for him and that she was the only one who had a chance.

Shelby didn't want to give up. She looked up at the building.

She strained her neck and stubbornly counted the floors. She saw two figures at the window on the 17th floor. It was too far for her to see clearly, but she could be sure that there were two figures! Shelby recalled what her roommate had said when she transferred to the university.

Did Adam really have a girlfriend?

When Shelby thought about it, she was flustered, and her expression became ferocious.

The last two days of the military training passed in the blink of an eye.

During the 20 days of military training, the students had been complaining a lot. Now that it finally ended, to appease the students, the school gave them two days off to take a break before they resumed their second-year lessons.

Anthea had been having a vacation. Every day, she ate and drank happily with him and would show it off to Leonardo, which frustrated him.

Although she still had two days of holiday, Adam wasn't as lucky. The military training was completed, and he only had one day off before he had to report back to his army with Carter.

He was transferred back from the south and came directly to the school. Now that the task was ended, he had to return to the army without any delay.

The two of them did nothing and spent the whole day sitting around at home.

When it was almost evening, Adam asked what she wanted to eat.

Anthea said sweetly, "Whatever you cook, it'll be delicious!"

Hearing this, Adam smiled and touched her head. He said that they would have a hotpot at home. There was nothing more satisfying than eating hotpot

while the air-conditioning was blowing.

He wanted to go back to the Chin Family to report to his parents and buy some ingredients on the way. Anthea didn't go with him. Instead, she stayed at home and waited for him.

Adam pressed her on the corner of the sofa and kissed her until she was out of breath. Then he grabbed the car key and went out.

As soon as the military green SUV left the military compound, a lot of people rushed into the building's entrance. They chatted among themselves, and the residents of the building had to turn sideways to get out.

All of them were quite young. They looked like university students.
