Anthea had worked in the kitchen for the whole afternoon, and she almost set the house on fire.

It took him less than ten minutes to turn the situation around. He cleared up her mess and made a table of delicious food.

Anthea had stuffed her mouth full. She looked like a squirrel that was looking for food with all her strength.

After she swallowed all the things in her mouth, the fragrance still lingered in her mouth. She asked him, "Do you often cook?"

"Not really." Adam shook his head and muttered, "It's just that when I camped in the wild, occasionally, the military cook isn't very good, so I would cook something for my fellow soldiers."

Anthea could almost imagine how enjoyable those soldiers would replace his food to be.

She tilted her head like a child and said, "How about you only cook it for me in the future?"

Anthea only asked it in passing, but she didn't expect that he would promise her without hesitation. She grinned, revealing two shallow dimples and several teeth. She felt like she was swimming in honey. She held a bowl of soup with both hands and was sipping it.

She was so full that her belly had plumped up, but she was unwilling to put down her bowl and chopsticks.

Looking at the dishes on the table, she thought to herself that since she had failed in cooking, she had to make up for it from somewhere else!

Anthea looked up solemnly. "I'll do my better tonight!"

Adam coughed into his fist.

That night, the master bedroom was filled with silver moonlight.

The room was quiet, but the air was burning hot. A lot of things were happening on the bed.

Anthea did what she said, and there was a bulge on the quilt.

With yesterday's experience, she was no longer a first-timer. She could manage to do it by herself and despite her shyness, she tried to do her best.

Adam swallowed but still couldn't hold it back anymore.

The blazing sun was hanging high in the sky, and white clouds floated overhead.

She saw Adam get in the military green SUV and was already driving out of the school.

Just then, a taxi happened to pull over outside the library on the other side of the road. After a senior-year student got off, she immediately ran over and hailed the taxi.

The driver asked her where she was going. Shelby quickly pointed with her finger and said, "Please follow that SUV with the military license plate!"

Hearing her words, the driver stepped on the accelerator and followed the vehicle.

There were traffic jams along the way, and they had to stop from time to time. Forty minutes later, the SUV drove into the living quarters of a military compound. Shelby knew that there Adam had a place here, but she had never been here before.

There were guards at the gate, so they couldn't drive inside. Shelby got off. It just so happened that someone came out at that moment, and she slipped in.

When she caught up with the SUV on foot, it was already parked outside a building.
