Anthea got into the car and took out the phone to have a look, "It's Carter!"

Anthea interrupted Carter with a red face, "Ahem, Carter, I am Anthea!"

Carter said, "Anthea, I won't disturb you. Captain Chin will be back in the army tomorrow. You two should enjoy it as much as you can! Adam snorted, knowing that Carter did it on purpose.

Seeing Anthea staring straight at him, Anthea raised his eyebrows and asked, "What's wrong?"

The next second, Anthea suddenly stepped on his feet and kissed him.

Adam's eyebrows raised.

Unlike the sneak kisses in the jeep before, Anthea hooked her arms around his neck, closed her eyes, and kissed him passionately, just like how he usually kissed her. Adam held Anthea's slender waist and kissed her even more wildly.

Anthea told him about what Carter said about the National Day holiday.

Adam suddenly understood.

No wonder Anthea was so affectionate.

Adam took her hand, put it on his thigh, and wrapped it with his palm. He sighed and said, "Anthea, I won't have any holiday later on. After I return to the army, I may have to wait until Lunar New Year to come back again."

Anthea pouted slightly and then nodded heavily.

She snuggled up to him, leaned her head against his

chest.

After two separations, she grew to be used to it!

In the morning, when Adam left, he didn't wake Anthea up but only left a kiss on her mouth and drove to the airport in his military boots.

When Anthea opened her eyes, Adam was already away. She could only feel his masculine scent left in the quilt.

She turned over longingly, greedily taking in large mouthfuls of it.

In a daze, she heard the phone on the bedside table ring.

Anthea reached out and took it. Without looking at the caller ID on the screen carefully, she thought it was Adam's call, picked it up with sleepy eyes, and asked, "Hey, you have arrived?" "Who arrived, Anthea?" The caller asked her in a surprised tone on the line.

Anthea suddenly sat up and said hurriedly, "Ah, grandpa!"
