Purchased A Mr. Right
Chapter 1269

The phone in Amelie's pocket rang.

Amelie frowned and muted it. She looked up and smiled, "Uncle Bellamy, I fine!"

Bellamy was very gratified. After pondering for a moment, he said, "Speaking of which, Amelie, you and Adam are not young anymore. I'll talk to him later. One can't always focus on his career!" Amelie was very excited, but she didn't show it. She just said softly, "It's okay. I've been waiting for six years. I can wait!"

Bellamy looked at her with satisfaction.

Amelie, as an excellent soldier, was sensible and deeply in love with his first son. A father can't be picky about such a daughter-in-law!

Meadow had been eating in silence while they were talking.

She had no objection.

She also liked Amelie and agreed with her husband that Amelie was indeed a suitable wife for Adam and could handle affairs domestic and public. If she married Adam, she would make a perfect wife. But as a mother, Meadow knew her son.

For so many year, Adam had never had any affection for Amelie.

But the girl her son loved...

Why she!

Amelie accompanied Adam's parents for dinner. The atmosphere was very good.

After dinner, Amelie went to the bathroom.

After closing the door, she called back and scolded, "I've said that it's not convenient for me to answer the phone in the Chin Family. Why are you still calling me!"

"Amelie, there's something important!" A weak female voice came from the speaker.

"What the hell is going on!" Amelie said impatiently.

"Amelie, as you said, I bought a fruit basket on behalf of you and went to the hospital to visit Carter Laux this morning. When I came out, I saw Captain Chin in the corridor!" "What's so surprising about that?"

The female soldier said with hesitation, "The point is, I saw Captain Chin holding a woman in his arms.

The doctor seemed to be a doctor in the hospital. He was holding her so tightly and for a long time. His expression was very unusually different, particularly gentle. I felt a little dangerous, so I hurried to tell you!"

Amelie's expression changed slightly. "I understood!"

Hanging up the phone, she looked completely gloomy.

Amelie carefully recalled the thing that the female soldier had just told her. She and Adam had known each other since childhood and she knew his character.

Whether in the army, in private, or at home, he had always been distant and indifferent. Most of the time, he would keep a poker face. In the past six years, he got icier than before, almost impossible for any living beings to get close.

It was impossible for Adam to have such intimate acts with a woman, let alone to have such an expression.

Except for one person!

Amelie thought of one time.

She came to visit the the Chin family with her father. At that time, she went upstairs to call him for dinner. And Adam was on the phone. She could see his face reflected on the window, full of gentleness and tenderness.

Amelie clenched her phone.

The evening lights were lit. It was near the river bank.

Anthea got out of the taxi and pursed her lips when she saw the restaurant in front of her, "Why did you choose here?"

A quirk of fate.

This was Adam Chin's restaurant!

"Well, what's wrong with this one?" Victor, who followed her to off the taxi, explained, "I heard that this one has good reputation. It has been here for a long time. Many people came here because of its reputation!"

Anthea shook her head and didn't want to disappoint him, "It's okay. I'm just thinking my purse is going to shrink tonight!"

How could they happen to meet him here for dinner!

Victor laughed and the two of them walked into the restaurant.

The restaurant was the same as it had been six years ago. It hadn't changed except the increased number of waiters. And one could tell that business had always been quite booming.

Victor had booked a seat in advance, and the waiter came forward as soon as they entered.

There was no empty table in the hall except for one by the window.

It had the best view and was empty all year round and had been exclusive for Adam.

Anthea subconsciously looked over.

After making sure that Adam was not there, she breathed a sigh of relief, but then she was a little lost in memories.

Anthea thought of their first date. There were no guests in the restaurant all night, only a table was available. And it was for she and Adam. Later, she learned that Adam was the boss who she had been scolding.

Later, they sat there eating for many times.

It had been so long. So long that it seemed to have been a matter of a past life.

Victor on the opposite side called her, "Anthea?"

Anthea was snapped out of her reverie.

Victor said, "You order the dishes. I'm not familiar with this place!"

"Okay!" Anthea smiled.

After ordering the dishes, the two of them chatted warmly.

Anthea asked, "How's teacher recently? I've just taken the office in the hospital. I'm too busy to visit him!"

"My dad is in good health. Good mental state, I think should be the reason. He is willing to stay domestic. After all, it's hard to get away from his motherland!"

Victor laughed and continued, "What's more, recently he has fallen in love with the aunt living alone downstairs. He's going to walk the dogs with her every morning and evening! With full punctuality." Anthea couldn't help laughing, "Haha, teacher is also in the tide! Having a late life love!"

Before she stopped laughing, a waiter suddenly walked by, "Mr. Chin, this way please!"

Anthea was stunned.

Her worry realized.

She looked at the table by the window and saw three tall men in camouflage uniforms. Among them, the most tall man had a special sense of presence. The restaurant managers trotted over to serve them. Adam sat down and flipped through the menu. His forearm muscles were strong.

He didn't seem to have noticed her. His profile was rough and handsome.

Anthea tensed up. She had no intention of greeting Adam, so she continued to chat cheerfully with Victor.

Because she was too close, even if she didn't want to pay attention to him, she could always see him from the corner of her eyes.

She saw that Adam was holding a red wine glass.

His fingers were long and slender. As he shook the glass, the red liquid in the glass swayed like bright red blood.

Anthea was somewhat surprised.

Adam wouldn't be without cigarette but he actually seldom drink.

He drinks, but with limit.

In fact, there were only three people at the so-called comrade gathering.

Because it was a scratch team. Most of the comrades-in-arms were in the army or on task. It was not easy to replace two.

Adam was also looking at her from the corner of his eyes.

As soon as he entered the door, he saw the bright smile on her palm-sized little face and the two faint dimples.

This day, she wore casual. Without the need to wear the doctor's over and surgical gown, she put on tight jeans and loose hoodie. She also wore light makeup, and applied pink lipstick on her lips. After she lost all her childishness, her beautiful facial features were reflected by her black hair, making her extremely charming.

Many men would fall in love with her!

Adam drank up the red wine in his glass.

Alcohol spread within his throat, and fire started to burn in the depth of his heart.

Victor also noticed Adam. He leaned over to Anthea and lowered his voice, "Anthea, do we need to change places?"

Anthea looked at the table full of delicacies on it and shook her head, "Not necessary. The dishes are all served. And this restaurant is high cost. It would be a waste if we leave without eating." "Okay!" Victor nodded.

The dishes were served one after another. Anthea noticed that only Adam did not eat. He kept shaking the red wine glass and drinking.

When she inadvertently looked up, she would meet his gaze.

Anthea quickly took her gaze back and said calmly, "Victor, I'm going to the bathroom!"

"Okay!" Victor smiled.

Anthea got up and walked to the bathroom.

There was no one in the ladies' room, only her. After coming out, she washed her hands at the washbasin with a mirror, fixed her hair, and turned to go out. Someone suddenly barged in as she was ready to get out of the bathroom.

The speed was extremely fast.

Like a wild leopard.

Before Anthea could see the person clearly or dodge in time, the shadow above her head came down and she was pressed against the wall.

The next second, she was kissed fiercely.
