Purchased A Mr. Right -
Chapter 1270
The smell of alcohol filled her throat.
Anthea thought that she had met a satyr!
Unfortunate.
How should she meet a satyr even she was going to the toilet.
Anthea reacted fast. One of her hands was caught, so she exerted force with the other. She lifted one of her feet, wanting to step on the satyr's ankle joint and lock his throat with her hand at the same time. This was once taught by Adam.
The move came in handy when she was abroad. When she met some lascivious foreigners, she dealt with them in such a way that she rarely failed. Seeing that she was a tough girl, some hooligans would just run away.
But she didn't expect the satyr to be faster than her.
He seemed to know her moves and could accurately dodge her following moves and perform counter attack.
Anthea cried in pain and made him go further.
A familiar breath came to her lips and tongue, and, for a moment, she forgot to struggle.
A tall figure overshadowed her. And with light on his back, she couldn't see his facial features because it happened so fast. She couldn't even see clearly what he was wearing.
But Anthea clearly remembered the male aura and the kiss.
It was Adam Chin.
Adam pressed her against the wall with his chest, leaving no gap between them.
He controlled her hands easily with one hand, making her unable to struggle like a trapped animal.
The other big hand lifted her chin and kissed her hard as if he wanted to swallow her.
At the dining table in the hall, he saw her whispering to another man and couldn't hear what she was saying. He felt so unpleasant that he almost threw his glass to the ground. Uncontrollable anger.
Uncontrollable jealousy.
Adam pried open her teeth and launched a powerful attack, trying to swallow her.
Perhaps he had long wanted to do so when they met again in the cemetery!
He had waited too long for the kiss.
For a moment, Anthea could not tell whether it was dream or reality!
Then came the large knocking on the door. "What's going on? Why can't the bathroom door be open?"
Anthea seemed to have been poured cold water from the top of her head. She shivered and pushed him away.
Ignoring the shocked sights of the people outside, she covered her mouth and ran out.
After running out of the corridor of the washroom, Anthea slowed down. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. His scent lingered on it.
Adam kissed with great force as if he was attacking a besieged city.
Anthea's legs were still a little weak.
She took a deep breath and walked back to the hall. Victor was still waiting for her.
When she was about to sit down, she suddenly saw all the guests stand up in panic. Anthea was surprised and asked, "What happened?"
Victor also stood up. "It seems to be a fire alarm!"
"Fire alarm?" Anthea did not react.
When she listened carefully, she could really hear fire alarm.
The guests at the other tables had all grabbed their things and began to rush outside.
Victor said hurriedly, "Looks like this meal is done.
Anthea, let's follow the staff to get out of this place!" "Okay!" Anthea nodded.
She and Victor followed other customers and left the restaurant in a daze under the evacuation of the restaurant staff.
In more than ten minutes, almost everyone in the restaurant came out. No one expected that they would so unlucky to encounter a fire, but life safety was the most important.
They didn't see any fire or smoke after coming out, but the alarm bell kept ringing. There must be something wrong with the alarm. The restaurant couldn't be opened again tonight. Anthea and Victor looked at each other in puzzlement.
Victor stopped a taxi on the side of the road. After Anthea got in, she looked back inadvertently. When she caught a glimpse of the tall and strong figure from the corner of her eyes, she felt relieved. "What the f**k? It took me a week to make a reservation, and I didn't eat nothing!"
"Manager, what the hell is going on?"
"This is so infuriating!"
Surrounded by complaints, the restaurant manager wanted to cry but had no tears.
The boss was willful, and he was also very helpless!
Seeing the group of crazy guests running out, the restaurant manager's heart was bleeding. They hadn't paid yet!
The hospital was busy all the time.
After the meeting, Anthea put her hands in the white coat and walked toward the nurse station. She didn't have any surgery today, so she had a rare leisure time.
When she passed by the elevator, there was a "ding" sound and the door opened.
When she saw the person coming out, Anthea's eyelashes trembled, and the numb feeling caused by the swallowing of her lips came again.
She quickly turned around and escaped toward the opposite direction.
Anthea kept her head low and quickened her pace.
Just after taking a turn, a human wall suddenly appeared in front of her.
The pair of military boot caught her eye.
"Anthea."
Anthea couldn't bypass him. She raised her head calmly and asked, "Uncle Adam, what's the matter?"
Adam said, "I kissed you last night."
She didn't expect that he would mention this the moment they met. Anthea's heart beat irregularly and her fingers in her pocket tightened. Her expression remained unchanged as she said, "There was nothing serious last night..."
"Sorry, I drank too much." Adam interrupted her.
Anthea was speechless.
Adam's tone was forthright without any evasiveness, "I drank too much and did something inappropriate. I apologize to you. I hope you can accept my apology and forgive me."
His gaze fell on her face with some apology.
Anthea was stunned.
His offer of apology made her feel awkward and unable to say any more, so she nodded and said, "I accept!"
"Okay." Adam said.
"I beg your pardon!" After saying that, Anthea turned and left.
She was not as hurried as she was just now, but still very walked fast, the hem of her white coat fluttered in the wind.
Adam stood where she was and looked at her as a wild beast looking at its prey.
The ward was full of sunshine of afternoon.
Adam had just finished smoking and came back. He sat on the chair beside the hospital bed, with his long legs slightly bent. He was sitting straight. Years of military training made keeping straight his habit. But there was a hint of languor in his eyes.
This never appeared in the past six years.
Carter, who was sitting cross-legged on the hospital bed, looked a little more excited. He winked and said, "The Professor Zipper or Zanon will go back to Country M by air tomorrow evening. I think he won't be any threat!"
Adam's expression was indifferent and he said nothing.
He leaned back, and his handsome facial features were bathing in the sunshine, which was more soulgrabbing.
Carter leaned in front of him and said in a low voice, "Hehehe, Captain Chin, don't worry. I promise I'll do it well! You could trust me and rest assured!"
"Yes." Adam nodded.
Just as their voices fell, the ward door was suddenly knocked open.
Someone walked in.
