Purchased A Mr. Right
Chapter 926

Simon was strong. It was almost effortless for him to carry her on his right shoulder as if he were carrying a sack.

Everything in her sight was spinning. By the time she realized what was happening, she was carried upside down. The only thing she could see was his sturdy butt.

She looked away awkwardly and struggled with all her strength, trying to jump off his shoulder.

However, it turned out that she was only wasting her strength.

Carrying Emily, Simon clasped her legs tightly with his hand. No matter how hard she struggled, it was of no use. Angrily, she shouted, "Hey, Simon! Put me down! Do you hear me? B*stard, you b*stard!" Simon seemed to turn a deaf ear to her curse, striding forward. After a few hundred meters, he went straight down a small intersection.

Because it was already dark at this time, the light was already very dim, and there were trees all around. Simon could only vaguely see a small village in the distance where there were a few scattered lights. Emily was unwilling to give in, writhing with all her strength, "Simon, put me down. Do you hear me? B*stard, put me down!"

Slap!

A crisp sound rang.

Along with the slap, Emily stopped yelling with her face turned red.

After she realized what Simon had just done to her, she was ashamed and resentful. Although he didn't slap too hard, and it was not very hurt, her face was feeling numb and the temperature of his palm. When she opened her mouth and was about to call him a rogue, Simon's low voice came. He said in a slow and somewhat sinister way, "Emily, there may be wolves or snakes in the mountains nearby. If you shout again, I will throw you there!"

Emily swallowed her saliva.

Although she knew that Simon was scaring her on purpose, she looked around. As the night breeze blew, there was a gloomy atmosphere among the trees for no reason. She felt some fear in her heart, and in the end, she shut her mouth out of fear.

"Fine!"

Carrying Emily, Simon walked without stopping.

After walking for about an hour, they finally stopped at the entrance of a brightly lit courtyard of a house.

Finally, Simon put her down. Although she did not walk, she felt that her waist was aching after maintaining bent for such a long time. Then she took a glance at Simon, who was walking up the stairs.

"He doesn't even pant after walking such a long distance while carrying me. He's still as strong as before, is he?" she thought to herself, "Such a pervert!

It was obvious that the wooden door was old, whose paint was barely left.

Simon knocked on the door. After a while, an old voice sounded, "Who is it?"

"Sorry to disturb you!" Simon raised his voice.

The footsteps came out, and the door opened. It was a middle-aged man with grey hair on his temples. Perhaps because he had lived in the village all year round, he looked older than his peers in the city, and the wrinkles on his face were obvious.

"Who are you?" The middle-aged man looked at them with a blank face.

Simon said politely and humbly, "Mister, our car broke down on the mountain road. We were trapped for a while and couldn't go back. Can you let my wife and me stay at your place for a night?"

The middle-aged man looked kind and honest. When he heard that, he did not say much, hurriedly invited them to enter the house, and even called his wife to help.

Emily frowned and questioned Simon unhappily, "Simon, why did you tell him I'm your wife!"

Simon's eyes slanted toward her as he lazily asked, "Should I tell him that we are eloping?" Emily lost her tongue.

"Eloping?"

"How could he come up with such an idea!"

Seeing that Simon had already crossed the threshold and walked inside, she clenched her fists and could only follow him, swallowing her pride.

The house looked more spacious than it looked from the outside. After entering, there was a small living room with a few wooden chairs and a round dining table against the wall. In the kitchen, they could vaguely see the fire. They didn't see any children. It was only the couple who lived there.

When the middle-aged man signaled Emily to sit down, Emily felt her stomach groaned.

She couldn't help but raise her hand to cover her belly. The sky went completely dark. She hadn't eaten anything yet since she left her place and went through all these things. It was no wonder that she felt starving.

She swallowed her saliva and heard Simon asking the middle-aged woman, who came out of the kitchen, "Madam, can I trouble you to give us something to eat?"

Emily was stunned for a moment. Then her hands that were covering her stomach slightly curled up.

When the middle-aged woman heard this, she immediately nodded and said, "Okay, I will bring it to you soon!"

In around ten minutes, the middle-aged woman came out of the kitchen with food in her hand. The middle-aged who was chatting with Simon also came over to help. Although it was not a big meal, it was warm and homey.

The middle-aged woman took a look at the two of them. Feeling a little sorry, she rubbed her hands and said, "I'm sorry. We only have the leftover porridge from dinner and the side dish. I've fried some eggs for you. I hope you won't mind!"

"Not at all!" Emily shook her head and felt very grateful, "Madam, thank you!"

"You must be starving. Dig in!" The middle-aged woman said thoughtfully gave them two cups of warm water.

Emily and Simon were no longer polite. They were indeed very hungry, so both of them started gorging.

The side dish was made by the middle-aged woman herself in a sauce jar, which was very tasty and gave them a good appetite. The eggs were from their farm chicken raised by themselves. And one could tell the middle-aged was kind at first glance. She put a lot of food in blue porcelain plates for fear that Emily and Simon did not have enough to eat.

Feeling so hungry, Emily was wolfing down her food.

When she picked up the bowl and was about to finish the rest of the porridge, a pair of chopsticks appeared in her sight. It was Simon who picked up a piece of eggs and put it in her bowl.

Out of the corner of her eye, Emily saw that on the blue porcelain plate on the table, there was nothing but sparkles of oil.

That was the last piece of eggs.

Emily subconsciously looked at Simon and saw that he was also holding a bowl of porridge and finishing the rice porridge, looking lazy. When he looked away, he happened to meet the gaze of the middle-aged woman, who was looking at them with a smile on her face while watching them eating.

Panicked, Emily lowered her head and silently finished the porridge in her bowl.

Putting down her chopsticks, Emily licked her lips and asked in a composed tone, "Mister, do you have a phone at home?"

"No, I don't!" The middle-aged man shook his head and explained, "My children gave us a phone for elder people, but my wife and I didn't figure out how to use it, so we left it alone. I usually call them with the phone at the supermarket in the village if things happen!"

When the middle-aged man answered her question, Emily found him take a look at Simon, feeling that she was having an illusion.
