Purchased A Mr. Right
Chapter 925

Emily felt her headache getting stronger and stronger.

She didn't want to be late, but things went wrong. Now the only thing she could do was to pray that she could replace a way to go back to the hotel as soon as possible! Just as she was praying silently, she heard a sudden screech of brake.

Emily leaned forward involuntarily. She reacted in time. She leaned against the front seat and steadied herself.

Having a bad feeling, Emily asked anxiously, "What's wrong?"

Holding the steering wheel with both hands, Simon raised his chin slightly and said slowly, "Well, it seems that there is something wrong with the car!"

"What?!" Emily's eyes popped.

"You must be kidding me!"

"Why am I so unlucky?"

Emily was dumbfounded. Simon got off the car. She came back to her senses after a long while, also got off the car, lifted her dress hem, and walked over

with a panicked face.

Simon leaned over at the opened car hood, supporting himself with one arm and trying to fix something.

Emily didn't know things about cars, so she could only stand there and wait anxiously. After about two minutes, Simon put down the hood, flicked his finger, and came to a conclusion, "We can't go anymore. The car broke down!"

Emily was petrified. She looked at him with blank eyes and asked, "What should we do now?"

"There is nothing we can do!" Simon leaned against the car door.

Seeing that Emily pursed her lips with her eyes widened, Simon crossed his arms on his chest and asked, "Why are you looking at me like this? My car was sent to the 4S shop. I borrowed this car from my friend. Who would have known that it would suddenly go wrong? And I don't know what happened. I can't repair it!"

Emily raised her hand to hold her forehead, feeling troubled.

When she was trying to figure a way out, he saw his index finger tapping on the wrist plate and said slowly, "It's almost seven o'clock now. We are trapped here. Unless we have wings, otherwise we can't go back!"

Emily pouted.

Although she didn't know the exact time, she could figure it out by looking at the sky where the sun was going down in the distance. However, when Simon said these words, his look was lazy, and his tone sounded indifferent!

Emily closed her eyes for a bit, not wanting to argue with him. She reached out to him and said, "Give me your phone. I need to call Calvin and ask him to pick me up!"

She knew that she messed up. But at least, she could try to solve the problem instead of waiting.

Unexpectedly, Simon shrugged and said, "I forgot to bring it."

Emily glared at him.

His words finally provoked her. The anger that she had been suppressing all the time now was released. She was furious now.

Even if she were an idiot, she could understand what Simon was trying to do!

Thinking of these coincidences and the things Simon did, Emily had a feeling that she couldn't bear it anymore. Her emotions finally exploded. She glared at him, gritted her teeth, and said, "Simon, you did it on purpose!" "You are right. I did it on purpose!" Simon did not deny it.

Emily's eyes widened. Feeling angrier, she said, "You..."

Simon put down his hands from his chest in his pockets. Leaning still against the car, he slightly narrowed his eyes and said, "Emily, I have told you that night that I made a decision!"

"What's the decision?" Emily asked indignantly.

That night, he got drunk and went to replace her. After that, he left with such a word, which made her feel so inexplicable!

Simon stood up straight and slowly walked towards her step by step. As he approached closer, evilness showed in his eyes. He said word by word, "The decision is that I won't allow you to marry another man!" Emily felt shocked after hearing that.

Her heart pumped faster by those words, but what followed was more anger. She clenched her fists with her nails clung to the palm of her hand and ground her teeth, "Simon, we have been separated for a long time! Half a year ago, we broke up peacefully. It has nothing to do with you whether I marry another man or not!"

"I know!" Simon's voice sounded lazy, and the corners of his lips were curved up into a playful and evil smile, "But I just don't want you to marry another man!"

Emily was speechless.

"Shameless!"

Emily's eyes twitched. She was very angry with him, trying hard to restrain the impulse to shout at him and clenching her teeth. Emily did not want to waste time arguing with him anymore. She lifted the hem of her dress and turned around to go back stubbornly.

Because at this time, the sun had already set, and the sky was also turning dark.

She was the only one walking on the long mountain road.

Lifting the hem of her dress and wearing high heels made it very difficult for her to walk. She felt that her feet were almost numb, but she continued to walk in depression.

Simon's footsteps came from behind her. She walked on her own as if she didn't hear anything.

If she had known that he was the one who was driving the car, she wouldn't have accepted the ride for any reason!

"And Selena, that d*mned girl..."

The more Emily thought about it, the angrier she felt.

After quite a while, she looked back at Simon behind her and warned him angrily, "Stop following me!"

With one hand in his pocket and the other holding a lit cigarette, he took a puff as he walked. Then he raised his eyebrows and asked, "Emily, we are dozens of kilometers away from the city. Even if you walk the whole night, you may not be able to walk back!"

"I have to thank you for making me so unlucky!"

Emily was outrageous, "It's none of your business!"

Simon followed closely, "Do you really want to go back by walking?"

"Yes!" Emily cried out in anger.

Simon threw the cigarette on the ground to put it out and lazily persuaded, "It's dark now, and there is no car. There should be a small village around. We can replace a place to spend the night. Then we can replace a way to go back to the city tomorrow morning!"

This time, Emily stopped replying as if she didn't hear it and walked her way in silence.

As the night fell, her steps gradually slowed down. Her legs were slightly trembling. Every time she walked in her high heels, she felt as if she was going to fall. It was only perseverance that supported her to

move on.

Suddenly, she felt unsteady.

There was a clear and crisp sound. One of the heels of her shoes broke. Emily twisted her ankle a few times, and her body began to sway.

Simon held her with his arm in time. Then she felt a familiar male scent came from behind and enveloped her. She took two deep breaths and raised her hand without hesitation, "Simon, leave me alone. Don't touch me. I don't need you to care about me..."

The next second, she felt her feet off the ground. Simon carried her on his shoulder all of a sudden.
