Born from his commoner mother Aryna Asterrix, that makes him labeled as half-blood noble.

Because he is half-noble, he couldn't manifest the proud bloodline of the Chevalier household, which is called the KNIGHT WARRIOR.

Knight Warrior is a bloodline that specialized in swordsmanship, armaments, and combat abilities.

As for what bloodlines are?

BLOODLINES are inherited powers from their ancestral family and possess unique skills based on their awakened bloodline, as they would gain traits after that.

That's why intermarriage between distant families became a norm as they wanted to pass down their respective bloodline powers to their descendants.

For example, if a family household possesses a bloodline of MAGICIAN, they can be either a SPELLCASTER, ALCHEMIST or WIZARDS. Just because they had manifested the same bloodline doesn't mean that they would have the similar traits as well.

According to the historical records, they stated that bloodlines powers are from the God's blessing during at the times of war way back millennium years ago.

The Gods gave out their blessings to the people in order for them to fight back against the dark forces that were once plagued within the world.

Of course, the novel [Mystique Enchantress] didn't include information about the bloodlines and its history as it solely concentrates on the romance between the novel's heroine and her six male leads, who encounter struggles and obstacles on their journey towards happiness.

Eclipse thought as he snickered when he remembered the world plot and his own fate inside that f*cking plot!

Because he, as Ezekiel Zephyr Chevalier, is born as half-blood noble, he never manifested the Knight Warrior bloodline of the Chevalier household.

In his first life, being labeled as a disgrace and good-for-nothing just because he couldn't do any better from his other half-siblings, it frustrates him that left him to become depressed and his self-esteem took a blow on it.
