Eclipse looked at the progression rate within the system interface and he frowns as he didn't quite understand about the role change [???] that was still indicated on the system interface.

'Silver, do you happen to know anything about this? Also, why do I have this role sticking with me? Sir Red indicated that I'm no longer bound to this world! So, what the heck is this?!'

« Answering Host's questions, Silver doesn't have any idea about this matter. For what Silver know according to the archive, Platinum world-hopper Eclipse, formerly known as Ezekiel Zephyr Chevalier, was no longer listed as one of the minor villains in the [Mystique Enchantress] world plot. Right now, Ezekiel Zephyr Chevalier is an irrelevant character according to the archive. »

Eclipse raised an eyebrow while thinking further about what Silver just said.

'The Main House System wouldn't give tasks to its agents without reason. Everything that happens has roles and meanings. They won't just outright give these tasks without reason. Also, not only that. There is this clause; "role change into [???]" and "Eclipse ??? ???".

I don't understand this part.'

« Silver looked through that as well. However, Silver also doesn't have any idea about that. »

Eclipse thought once again and looked through the progression rate in his system interface.

'Looking at the progression rate of the world plot and this character role….. last time I checked, the world plot was around 0.007% and the character is 1.125%. It went up all of a sudden. Is it because of the hidden and link tasks?'

Eclipse thought that the progression rate of this worldline would be slower because the main plot hasn't started yet but from what he can analyze, it seems like by triggering the hidden and link tasks had aided him though.

'Although I have no idea what those memories were back then and also, what happened to my mother's body that disappeared without a trace and only left an unknown crystal orb? On top of that….'

Eclipse paused for a minute as he seems to forgot something…..

"Wait a minute, where's Rheina?"

« Host don't worry. Your female companion is fine. She just caught on to what happened earlier that makes her unconscious. She's at the corner though. »

He looked at the direction where Silver stated, and he saw Rheina fainted at the corner and there was no sign of her awakening then.

'If that was the case then, let's solve this issue first but before that…. Are you planning to stay inside my mind, Silver? You can transform into animal or something like how you usually do.'

He feels uncomfortable that Silver was housing through his mind and even though Silver had accompanied him throughout his world-hopping journey and considered as his closest companion, Eclipse still felt uneasy if someone just laid inside his mind like a parasite.

« As for that matter, Host, Silver couldn't transform for the time being because Silver had been in a state of slumber for awhile and it will take time for Silver to transform. Hoping for the Host to wait Silver to stabilize everything then. »

Eclipse sighed and raised an eyebrow; 'If you say so then.'

After that, he stood up and dust off himself and gazed at the unconscious woman who laid at the corner.

'Is she alright? I don't know what happened earlier when I received that information inside my head, but I just woke up and nothing else then.'

« Host, no need for you to worry about her. When Silver wake up from its slumber, Silver saw how that woman tried her best to protect you from those sparks of light coming from the glass chamber and even though that woman doesn't have any power within her but only using her strong will to fought back, Silver admired her for that. »

Eclipse sighed in relief, but his expression became blank all of the sudden and became alerted; 'Someone's here!'

« My apology, Host. Silver doesn't have much energy because Silver just awakened from its slumber and failed to detect any entities that had entered within the vicinity. Please be cautious, Host! »

Before Eclipse could make a move, a sudden clap coming from the entrance door and the young man shift his gazed towards that direction and when Eclipse recognize who was it, he coldly stared back at the person.

Kira, who stood by her superior's side, exclaimed when she saw what's flashing on the hologram screen and she continued; "S-sir Red! I understand about the hidden task that Eclipse managed to trigger but a link task connected to the hidden task?! That's absurd!"

Red stood quietly as he looked at the hologram screen with his blank expression. However, deep inside, he was also panicking and tried to calm himself.

He took a deep breath and looked at his side where his secretary stood with him; "Is there any report about the other Higher Councils?"

Kira who understands her superior's way of dodging the situation, sighed as she shook off her head; "There is no suspicious movement amongst them, and they were just doing what they were usually doing."

When Kira finished her report, Red sighed once again and shook off his head while looking back at his secretary with a bitter smile.

He mumbled; "At the end…. You still…."

Kira looked at her superior with a confused expression and before she could comprehend what her superior was thinking…. She felt a sudden sharp pain in her chest and the taste of a metallic liquid flowed throughout her mouth and coughed hard as she stumbled down on the ground.

Kira coughed harder as she looked up to Red and mustered the courage to speak.

"W-w-what…. W-w-why…."

She mumbled hoarsely while having a hard time stabilizing her breathing because her chest got suddenly punctured without knowing and she didn't see Red move at her side so, who?

"What's next, Sir Red?"

Kira heard a familiar voice coming from the other side and she looked towards the owner of that voice and her eyes wide in shock to see who it was.

"Y-YOU—urgh! *cough! *cough!"

Red, who finally moved from where he stood, looked at the person with a blank expression; "You know what to do with her then. After all, that's the job of your department. Also, no need for a trial about this matter."

Kira shook off her head as she already knew what will happen to her as she immediately crawled over where Red stood while begging for mercy; "S-sir Red, please! Don't do this! I'm sorry! I know what I have done but please! Show some mercy for me!"

Red looked at Kira who's crying and begging to spare her life, but he stared down at the woman as nothing but a pest on his eyes.

"I gave you a chance, Kira. Countless times even before this happen. I trusted you and what did you do? This time, I won't let you off. This will serve as a warning for them as well. ARICO, proceed with the final farewell."

Arico, who Red called out for, smirks at Kira who tries her best to stay away from him.

"Y-you! S-stay away from me, you b*stard! S-sir Red! P-please!"

Arico click his tongue in annoyance; "Just surrender. You need to pay the price for messing up and threatening Eclipse's life, one of the candidate successors. Do you think Sir Red wouldn't noticed it?"

Eclipse looked at the person who appeared before him and the other man looked back at Eclipse with a faint smile plastered on his face and Eclipse knew that it would be messy if things go in the wrong direction.

This person in front of him is none other than the High Elder of Sympherux, the former Marquis Laxurus Agante Chevalier. The father of the current Marquis Augustus Rynus Chevalier and of course…..
