"I'll take care of everything here, Sir Red. However, if this incident had reached to them, how are you going to handle the situation then?"

Red didn't speak for a while as he took one last gaze at Kira's corpse as Arico did his job as the executioner.

Arico is one of the agents from the SLAYERS DEPARTMENT, responsible for executing criminal world-hoppers and agents who violate the system laws of the worldlines and had the rights to execute without the orders from above if a treason has been caught.

An example of that was Kira's case. She is a spy from another Higher Council that wants to threaten the lives of the candidate successors. One of it was Eclipse, the Platinum world-hopper and the one who had the highest chance to become the Leader of the Worldline Realm.

Red sighed as he diverts his gaze from the woman's corpse and his eyes became cold as ever.

"You don't have to worry about that. I already make counter measures for that the moment I made my decision."

He paused for a minute as he looked at Arico who crossed his arms around while looking back at Red with a raised eyebrow.

'This cheeky b*stard is still the same…. Hmmm…. Why not….'

Red smirks at him and when Arico saw this, he sighed in frustration because he knows without asking what that means.

"I have a mission for you. Would you like to hear it first?"

'What is he doing in here?'

Eclipse didn't know why this person suddenly appeared here and for him just casually stood there without saying anything.

In the world plot of [Mystique Enchantress], there are forces that were only mention and never had an important role in the whole story since it only focuses on the heroine and her six male leads.

However, outside of the world plot, just like Arcanum De Fleur who were just mentioned and only serves as a filler for the story plot, another important faction that only a few people who would know since they weren't that active in public, but their reputation is well-known for its another purpose.

SYMPHERUX.

If Arcanum De Fleur is an organization for a group of assassins, Sympherux, on the other hand, is a group responsible for doing the much "darker side" for the Empire, meaning, if there were cases that couldn't be solve through legal process, the Sympherux are the one who would handle everything within the shadows.

In short term, Sympherux are mostly known to be the Mad Hunting Hounds of the Empire.

'In modern terms, they were pretty much like the Mafias though.'

Eclipse looked back at the man, or much rather, an old man precisely but if one looks at it, no one will dare to call this person an old man because he doesn't look like one, to begin with.

Laxurus Agante Chevalier, the previous Patriarch of Marquis Chevalier household and right now, he is the current High Elder for Sympherux after he abdicate his position to his son, who is the current Marquis of this household, Marquis Augustus Rynus Chevalier.

He should be in his 70's but his appearance is likely around in mid-40's. With his appearance, if someone see him, they will think that he is the twin brother of the current Marquis Chevalier because of their too many similarities with one another. Both could be passed as twins rather than a parent and son.

'And of course, this old man is my— or much rather, Ezekiel's grandfather.'

No one knew where the previous Patriarch of the Chevaliers went after he passed his title and position to his son but there were few who knew that he became the High Elder of Sympherux and working behind the scenes, but no one could make a proof of that statement.

If words got out that the previous Patriarch is still alive and is now the High Elder of Sympherux, the Empire could be in an uproar now.

According to the system archive that he retrieves, in the public, he was known as JASPER EXOLUS and his background is a mystery to everyone who wanted to meet this mysterious yet deadly High Elder of Sympherux.

Eclipse sighed as he glances at the old man once more with his cold-piercing, cyan-colored eyes.

"Once again, what are you doing here? I though you have much more important thing to do. Or are you here to silence me for what I have seen so far, hmm?"

The world-hopper wouldn't forget what he saw about the glass chamber and what's inside.

He took a step towards the old man who isn't speaking for awhile and Eclipse stop in three steps away from the old man and didn't dare to show weakness but only unleash his bloodlust as he keeps on glaring back at him.

The old man, Laxurus, chuckled as he looked at his grandson with a smirk; "Ho. Are you planning to reveal your claws at me, boy? You're still too young for that."

'Too young? I live for a millennium year and for me, you are just nothing but a baby to me!'

Eclipse looked unimpressed as he crossed his arms around; "Since you are here and I don't have to play pleasantries with you then, mind to tell me what I just saw earlier? Why was my mother's body inside the glass chamber with magic seals on top of that and not only that, what is that "Project Terix" that was inscription on the bottom of that glass chamber?!"

When he stood in front of the glass chamber where his mother's body was laid inside, Eclipse saw the inscription of [Project Terix] on the bottom and there is a task for him to replace some other clues about this Project Terix.

He only had a vague memory that he received as a reward from earlier but other than that, Eclipse doesn't have any idea about what kind of project was this.

Only vague images that he could see from that memory, and he even saw the silhouette of her mother being called but he didn't saw his mother's expression at all.

"I though that after giving you that necklace and that advice would you piece all the clues together, but it seems like you haven't decipher that deeper then."

Yes, that's right. The person [Him] that Eclipse was pertaining to was none other than this old man and he is the one who gave Eclipse that necklace for the secret door of Hall of Legacy in exchange for some information that Laxurus was looking for.

Eclipse, on the other hand, just looked at the old man with a bored expression; "Your too old for playing mind games with me, previous Marquis. Since our agreement is only transactional and you won't answer my questions then, how about another trade then?"

Laxurus didn't looked offended when his grandson talks to him like he was talking on someone with the same age as him and he chuckled because for some reason, he became interested of this young boy who suddenly just barged in sneakily into his office back then.

« ….. "How about we made a deal? I'll provide you with the information that you desperately need and in exchange for that, provide me with the special key on how to open the secret door of the Hall of Legacy. What do you think?" .... »

'Just thinking about how this cheeky boy dare to make a deal with me and on top of that, he didn't seem to fear me at all. It looks like the rumors about him aren't true at all.'

Also, he couldn't help but to laugh when a sudden scandal appeared, and the star of that scandal was none other than this cheeky b*stard with that good-for-nothing Marchioness Charlotte from the Fleener household that his son married.

Laxurus thought that it's incredibly insane for this child to set up his own stepmother into that trap and even though he is disappointed with that woman because she let a child to beat her that up and for tarnishing his household name, but it wasn't Laxurus's business anyway since he already gave his title and position to his son, so it doesn't matter to him anymore.

'It seems like my son is an idiot for not seeing how this little cheeky b*stard played them well. It's their problem for neglecting this child and I couldn't replace faults with him for doing that if he wanted to take revenge on that good-for-nothing Marchioness.'
