'A totally different person when I first met her, or much rather, the first time she suddenly barged into my office and demanded to speak with me privately.'

He couldn't forget about that time when she aggressively did that and to make matters worse, it became a hot topic once again within the noble society and within the academic community inside the school.

With some ridiculous rumors about them being a student-teacher relationship or a secret little lover that Altron kept hidden within the confines of this academy and many more.

'That's even more horrible! Lorraine is almost the same age as Felicity, for Ardus' sake!'

When these ridiculous rumors even reached the ears of his other siblings, especially from Harrison, that guy even burst into laughter and teasing him for who knows how many times if he had the chance.

He even had the nerve to provoke him by comparing him with the Marchioness! The audacity!

For Altron, his second brother might look carefree and would always pranks at someone else if he wanted to but even though he asked those questions in a simple manner however, as someone who saw how Harrison's reaction from Ezekiel's case from those years ago, he could tell that Harrison was warning him.

He isn't stupid and he wasn't like the Marchioness either!

'I won't stoop that low and besides, I wasn't interested with anyone else!'

He just treated Lorraine like a little sister, just like how he treated Felicity!

However, since Lorraine and him had an agreement then, not only the Marquis Chevalier household but also the Count Chevalier household led by his second brother, Harrison, two Chevalier households are her backers, and her guardianship falls into Altron's since his noble title is higher than his second brother and Altron could protect Lorraine with his status alone.

Although, because of that, unsavory rumors had spread within the public and Altron felt bad for putting the young woman into this situation, but Lorraine just outright ignore it as she didn't care about it.

From that statement, Altron couldn't help but chuckled as he remembered Felicity since his little sister is a brave one and never let others to trample her as she make a good use of her reputation as a dignified young lady of her generation and the only young lady of the Marquis Chevalier household.

Since there was no Marchioness at the household as of the moment, as the only young lady of the household, Felicity assumed the title of Marchioness of their household for the time being until he got married.

'However, I don't have a plan to get married yet since that's not important for now.'

"Hello. Are you alright?"

Altron snapped from his thoughts as he looked back at the young woman who called out for him and after that, his cyan-colored right eyes suddenly activated that got him startled.

'The [Enigma's Judgement] suddenly activated on its own! There is one reason for its activation and that's because....'

"Hey, would both of you stop staring at each other? If someone does happen to see this interaction by anyone, they would think that the two of you are eye-raping with each other and that's gross!"

'That voice! He had heard it before! From one of his dreams!'

He was about to looked behind his back since that's where the voice of the newcomer came from when he saw Lorraine snorted at the newcomer's statement as she stood up from where she seated, leaving the tamed beast behind her and passed over him as she walked towards the direction of that newcomer.

That's why Altron looked behind to confirm his suspicion and immediately activate his [Enigma's Judgement] to perceive this newcomer.

However, as he activated his ability and looked through with that newcomer, a sudden pain rushed through his head but only wink on his left eye as he didn't want to be exposed of activating his ability to used it at the newcomer.

'That person.... Have the ability to block my perception skill?!'

This is the first time that happens to him and because of that, Altron had his guard up because of an unexpected anomaly....

Or, he could be an ally, then?

Lorraine; "What are you doing in here and who are you, by the way?"

'What is he doing in here? And how come he had entered within this academy?'

Lorraine thought as she looked at the newcomer from three steps away from where she stood, and she could also feel the Marquis staring at them with his guarded stance.

'It seems like that the Marquis' hidden trait won't work for this guy. Actually, I also had a bad feeling about him, even from before, in the previous timeline.'

Now as she recalled from the previous timeline, out of the six male leads, this person is the only one that seems to be an odd one.

More likely, he is the only sane person within those six male leads.

Francis Aiden Kashaya.

He was supposed to be an instructor for Magic Sword Arts in this academy, like how it was in the previous timeline but in the current timeline, he wasn't an instructor in this academy at all.

'This is also another factor that change from the previous timeline.'

From what Lorraine could remember, in the previous timeline, Francis is one of the six male leads in this worldline and the only person who defended Ezekiel from the other false accusations that pinned into his head.

'However, as a result, Francis' profession as an instructor was revoked because he was deemed an accomplice for Ezekiel but because of the Headmaster of the academy, he was pardoned and only given light punishment to be exiled in the empire.'

From the little memories that she could gather, she had met Francis 2 years after Ezekiel's execution and from then on, Lorraine remembered how Francis loathed them as if they were nothing but vile insects into his eyes.

Lorraine could only blame herself for being a puppet for that corrupted unknown God that even up to this day, she didn't know who that monster was.

She snapped from her thoughts when an idea popped into her mind as she looked at Francis as the other man looked back at her with his blank expression.

"Would you care to join us?"

It wasn't bad to allied with someone who seems like the sanest person on the planet, right?
