"Your Highness, the carriage has been on set."

The Crown Prince, Alois, looked at Yohan, his trusted aide, bowed down to him as he speak to announce that everything that Alois needed are already loaded within the carriage and the Crown Prince once again looked at the body-sized mirror for him to looked at himself.

"I guess, I should go now. I have been delayed for three days already for the academy. Curse those paper works and stuff."

Alois groaned in annoyance when he remembered those paper works that His Majesty, the Emperor ordered him to do and finalize those documents first before he could go and attend the academy.

Alois was supposed to be on the journey right now since it would take for almost a week for him to catch on the entrance ceremony for the new school year at Lumen Academy as the academy is situated at the southernmost part of the empire, nearly at the borders as they speak.

'Argh! Those stupid documents are nothing but just some petty squabbles from those rotten nobles and not only that, but there was even documents about my arranged marriage, for Ardus' sake!'

He didn't like the idea of having his marriage life to be political, just like his Royal Father and Mother, and he wanted to marry someone that could understand him a little.

Alois knew his own reputation within the empire as a benevolent and kind prince but there were others within the noble society who knew how shrewd and cunning he was and would do anything just to protect his own crown.

Even if means that he would bathe his hands with the blood of others.

Alois prefers not to reach on that part but if there was no other choice then, he would dirty his hand and would become a sinner himself, just to maintain the hard work that he had as of this moment.

The Crown Prince had his own faction and not only that, but he also had within him the version of the Stellarus Empire's Sympherux, his very own mad hunters, the Orexthons.

Aside from that, the spy that he implanted to the Chevaliers, the Leader of Arcanum De Fleur, Rheina Clandestine, no—, Alois wouldn't call that woman as his spy since that woman rejected his offer but even if that was the case then, Alois had his leash on the second-in-command, Thesus Yor, who happens to be his true spy that he send into the Clandestine clan for him to gain the trust of the previous Patriarch.

Since the Clandestine clan are well-known within the Underworld Realm as they were the ones who ruled over there, it's much better for Alois to take a hold about that clan by making Thesus Yor to be the Leader and the Patriarch of that clan, rather than the true heiress, Rheina Clandestine.

'But according to my spies, Rheina Clandestine even took the risk to infiltrate that household just because of the information that I have provided for her. Tsk! She didn't even confirm if the information that I provided for her are true or not.'

Well, this helps Alois a lot for his future plans since if ever Rheina Clandestine would ever be caught, she would be killed on the spot and if that happens then, Thesus Yor would have the chance to seize over the control of Clandestine clan and the operations within the Underworld Realm.

'If that happens then, I could secure my place, and no one could threaten to take away what's mine from birth.'

Since Alois isn't the only royal child within the empire. He had four other siblings from the Queen Mother Eula and his two blood-related siblings from his Empress Mother Raziah. Alois is the first-born prince from the Empress and the oldest amongst his siblings and he's the rightful heir to the throne.

'However, as much as I hold the position of Crown Prince, it's not guaranteed that I would be able to inherit the crown myself and I know some of the other siblings are doing their best to snatch away this position of mine.'

Alois doesn't hold any familial affection towards his brothers and sisters as he only saw them as nothing but competitors for the crown.

It has been like this, even in the ancient times where royal children would have disputes with one another just for the succession battle for the throne.

'If only the Chevaliers didn't belong to the neutral faction, then, I'll have my ways to get their support.'

As he suddenly remembered the supposed invitation that he sent to the Chevalier household, especially, to the addressed person.

If only the heir apparent wasn't there and only the Third Young Master, Alois could do something to brainwash that kid into his bidding since that child is nothing but an abandoned child of the Marquis.

Even though Ezekiel is an illegitimate child but still, he is still a member of the Chevalier household and Alois thinks that Ezekiel is the perfect pawn for all of these plans, in case something goes wrong.

'Since the Third Young Master would be attending at Lumen Academy then, might as well that I approach him and manipulate him within my palms into my bidding.'

Alois thought as he planned perfectly since the noble's influence couldn't reach the academy and that was one of the rules of the academy ever since the establishment of that place.

"Let's get going then."

After that, the servants around him followed behind the Crown Prince and left the room.
