Chapter 65

Kristina’s POV

So I have been lying awake all night, thinking of how to save my little brother. I know he hates my father as much as I hate him. I came up with an idea. My father does not know where I have been and what I have been doing. I will discuss it first with my new King and Queen. I have not changed into a hybrid yet, so I will have to do it before the next full moon. My father can not suspect anything, as I want my brother away from him before I change and become a half-werewolf. He will pick up on it, and I can not allow it.

‘Wayne, I got a plan. I need to go to my father’s, I need to go alone, and I need to save my brother. Listen, I know you will not let me want to go alone, but I will have to. So, let me explain my plan to you before you say anything,” I say.

“I don’t like it, but I will listen,” Wayne says.

“Well, here is the plan. I know my father has been looking for a daylight ring forever. I will tell him that I mingled with the wolves to replace out if their shamans can make one, but so far, I have been unsuccessful. I would say to him most shamans are like witches and females. I will ask him to send Roman with me. Roman is handsome, and he can maybe convince the shamans to give us rings, but in return, I will have to provide him with something. I was going to ask Queen Paris if I could betray her old pack, not all of them, but the bad ones. Like their Alpha who has betrayed his wife, they help his wife heal. Then she can become the pack’s leader, and he and his son that rejected the Queen can die for all I care,” Kristina says.

“Well, it sounds like a good idea,” Wayne admits.

We go to the King and Queen and explain our plan to them. Wayne will wait for Roman and me if we need help. He and some of the shamans and other werewolves will have to come and help us if my father decides to follow us. I can see the Queen is okay with it.

“I want my first mate to die. Not that I care, but the rest of the pack is off-limits,” Paris says. She is thinking of the pack doctor, his wife, and his daughter, who all helped her.

“Okay, get everyone out of the pack you want to save, and I will do the rest,” Kristina says. Paris smiles as she only wants to save the doctor, his mate, Maria, and Luna. The rest can die for all she cares. She tells me that, and I smile as I know how she feels.

“I know, my Queen, some evil creatures will have to die, and that includes the evil wolves,” I say.

“I know, but let me first go and talk to the rest of the pack. Maybe they will want their Luna to rule them,” Paris says.

“I agree we should save the Luna. She did not ask for the bad treatment of the Alpha, and I bet Miraim can save her life,” I say.

“Let me go and talk to the pack first,” Paris says, and I agree. I know she does not like to kill wolves, but some wolves are betrayers of their kind.

Third person’s POV

The Cloverfield pack does not like the Ravenstone Pack as they always try to take their land and the Cloverfield pack sees their land as sacred. They hunt and steal from their lands, and the Cloverfield pack is tired of the behavior of the Ravenstone Pack. The feeling is mutual, as the Ravenstone Pack feels like they are entitled to more land and that the wolves of the Cloverfield pack have more than enough land and should give them some of their lands.

Paris and Walker and their best fighters go the Ravenstone pack. They know if a fight breaks out, they will be able to handle the Ravensone pack’s warriors. Paris is more beautiful than Mark remembers as she steps out of the SUV, and he can hardly keep his eyes off her, and she can see Walker getting angry. Paris ignores Mark and can not believe she once thought he was handsome. He is much shorter than Walker, and he has nothing on Walker. Amelia is openly flirting with Walker, but Walker does not even see her as he stares down at Mark.

“Paris, you came back,” Mark says, and he can not see my mark as my hair is covering my mark.

“I am not here for you, Mark. Alpha Henry, we are here to talk about you trying to take our land again,” Paris says.

“Your land? Since when does a rogue have land?” Alpha Henry laughs.

“Paris is my Luna and my Queen. I will appreciate it if you do not talk to her that way,” Walker says.

“Ah, so you are the Alpha of the Cloverfield pack. Alpha Walker, if I remember right. Are you not supposed to be in England?” Alpha Henry asks.

“You have a mate? I thought we were mates,” Mark says.

“You rejected me, and I accepted it. We were never mates,” Paris says to Mark.

“You better stop staring at my mate, and I do not like it,” Walker says and takes a few steps toward Mark. It is very disrespectful to stare at another wolf’s mate, especially that of an Alpha. Mark knows this and smiles at Walker as he looks me up and down. That is the last straw for Walker, and he grabs Mark and throws him on the ground. Mark feels Walker’s shoe on his neck. Mark struggles to free himself but to no avail.

“If you kill my son, there will be war between us,” Alpha Henry says.

“There is already a war between us, as your son does not respect my Luna,” Walker says.

“She is nothing to respect, and she is a w***e like her mother,” Mark says as he tries to get out from underneath Walker’s foot. Walker steps on him a little harder. He looks at the pack and can see they look scared.

“Those of you who want to live can come with us,” Walker says. Many of the pack walk over to Walker, and a sick-looking she-wolf wanders out of the packhouse.

“I reject you as my mate, Henry, and I will join the wolves that go with the Cloverfield pack,” The Luna of the Ravenstone Pack says. Doc, his wife, and Maria are helping her as they also join the rest of the wolves that have walked over to the Cloverfield pack.

“You are all traitors,” Henry shouts.

“They are just clever and know where they will have a stronger pack,” Walker says.

“You do not respect your warriors, and you and your son have been stealing from the Cloverfield pack long enough,” Paris says. Walker steps harder on Mark’s neck, now struggling to breathe. Walker steps off his neck and smiles.

“You have messed with the wrong pack, and you will regret this day,” Walker says as they walk away to the SUV and the wolves that are joining them walks with them. Emelia runs to Mark as she knows she does not stand a chance with Walker but can still become a Luna of the Ravenstone pack. Emelia just wants to become a Luna and sees Mark as her only chance. She glares at Paris as she helps Mark up.

“You were never good enough for this pack! Your mate does not know what a pathetic Luna he has,” Emelia says.

“Emelia, you only want to become a Luna, and you do not even care if Mark is your true mate. I found my second chance mate and am thrilled with my new pack. I am also the Queen of the Kingdom of Wessex. Walker is not only my Alpha and mate but also my King,” Paris says. She knows it will piss Emelia off as Emelia can only become a luna while she is a Queen. Emilia glares at Paris and looks at Walker with other eyes. Maybe she should join the pack and try to take the King for herself.

“I am not interested in you, so do not even think of it,” Walker says as he can see the l**t in her eyes, and he knows it is not s****l l**t, only it is l**t for becoming a Queen.

“I was not thinking anything, my King,” Emelia says. Her voice sounds s****l, and it pisses Paris off. She wants to kill the bloody b***h on the spot. She gave Paris hell the whole time she stayed at the Ravenstone Pack, and now she is trying to flirt with her mate.

“You are not welcome in our pack,” Paris says.

“It is not for you to decide. Can I be part of your pack, King?” Emelia asks.

“You heard, my Queen. You are not welcome,” Walker says. He takes Paris’ hand and opens the SUV door for Paris. He k****s her before he lets her get into the SUV. No one will ever disrespect his Queen again. What happens to the rest of the pack is their problem, and they will go through hell and back. He will not care as they are not wolves worthy of being called a pack. They are more like thieves and rogues. They want them to go to the vampire, and they want them to tell him that the King and Queen of werewolves are here in the state. They want the old vampire to come and search for them. They will be gone by then and back in their Kingdom. No one knows where the Kingdom of Wessex is, as no vampire or even the wolves in the states have hurt it. They only know where the old Kingdoms were, and they do not know it is still in the same spot, but they will not replace wolves there as they have the tiny devices that will protect the wolves from being detected by the humans. They want the old vampire to waste time searching for them here in the states while they prepare for the war in England.

The drive back to the packhouse. Maria and her parents are driving with their old Luna. Miriam is with them, chanting softly as she rubs their Luna’s hands. Their Luna starts looking better, and soon she seems healed. She will be strong enough to look after her pack members if they decide to stay. Or if they go with the Cloverfield Pack to England, she will be strong enough to help them fight. Her wolves will be glad to see their Luna is healed and ready to fight again.

As they reach the packhouse of the Cloverfield pack, they give everyone a place to stay. They also provide them with food and clothing. The clothing has a little device built to protect them from humans and their machines. They do not want the wolves to be detected, which can put their whole pack in danger, and they do not want humans to know they have devices that counter theirs.

“Well, the ones that will be saved are here, and you can go ahead with your plans to save your brother while keeping your father busy. We will see you back in England,” Paris says to Kristina.

“Thank you, my Queen. I will never betray you or the Kingdom. Thank you for giving me a chance to save my little brother and give him his freedom from my evil father,” Kristina says. She and Wayne walk out of the door as they get ready to leave for where her father is. Wayne will wait for her and her brother nearby on the day that they will escape their evil father.
