Chapter 890 Only Claude Knows It

Why did they look so intimate in these photos?

Gloria didn't know what to say for a moment. She had so many mixed emotions.

Irene sighed. "I was very shocked to replace out these photos. You have had no idea about your mom, so I think they will be of some help." Gloria had never seen the marriage or divorce certificates of her parents.

Over these years, she had been trying to replace them, but found no trace of them. Maybe they had been hidden by someone deliberately. Unexpectedly, Irene found the photos of her parents. Perhaps that guy didn't know the existence of these photos?

Irene stared at Gloria who looked solemn and sighed. "These are all I can get. What happened to your father... remained a mystery." There was a gleam in Gloria's eyes. "Not really. Jonathan provided some clues for me."

Irene was slightly taken aback. "What are they?"

Gloria's eyelashes quivered, and she finally said softly, "Jonathan told me about the moves of my father over the last two years and Claude's contacts with others, a lot of which are doctors."

Irene's face changed. "They must have been engaged with those doctors. We can look into those doctors and maybe we can follow up this clue!"

Gloria nodded. "Well, I am sorry you have to do all this for me."

Irene replied at once, "That's all right. Now that you have a list of those doctors, I don't think it will take me a lot of time to nose out the details!""

Gloria smiled. "I am afraid the investigation won't go well. Claude is as cunning as a fox. He might have played tricks when talking with those doctors. Also, he would not raise all his questions with one doctor. Each doctor answered some of them and perhaps had forgotten what Claude had asked." frene frowned tightly and the next moment she shook her head. "What you said is possible, but I think at least one of the doctors know the overall scheme. Give me the list of names. I'll get down to looking into them."

Gloria nodded and send the list to Irene's phone.

Irene read the list and found she knew none of them.

She sneered. "These doctors he looked for are not famous. I can't believe he trusted them."

Gloria parted her lips. "They are not famous, but I know some of them are great, so they aren't just any doctors."

"Is that so?" An ironic look flashed across Irene's face. "Don't worry. I'll look into them one by one. I won't let any of them get away with it."

Gloria smiled. Since they were very close friends, Irene did not like to hear her say words of gratitude. But sometimes Gloria felt she would be too ungrateful if she didn't express her gratitude toward someone who helped her.

Of course, she kept in mind whoever helped her and never forgot what they did.

Irene picked up the glass and drank water.

Then she looked at Gloria and said calmly, "But then again, Claude is the only one that knows the story of your parents."

Gloria's eyes flashed and she answered with a vexed look, "Yes, but I don't think he will tell the truth to me given the current situation."
