Return of the Prodigy Chapter 174

"A-Adam? Are you Adam?"

Even though the old man's voice was weak and soft, it sounded explosive to Adam. He trembled as he hastily turned to look at the old man inside the cage. The old man raised his head slowly and pulled aside his hair.

In an instant, Adam felt emotional as memories flooded his mind.

Images of a kind old man running after a boy as he shouted worriedly kept emerging in Adam's mind.

"Adam, slow down."

"Adam, this food is very good for you."

"Adam, it's getting late. Time to go home."

The elderly man had been there for Adam throughout his childhood.

When the elderly man was ready for retirement, he had gone back to his hometown. It had been ten years ever since they last met!

"Adam, are you really Adam?" the old man in the cage kept asking repeatedly.

Adam snapped out of his thoughts and ran up to the cage. He said deeply, his voice shaking, "Is that you, Ray?"

Is it Ray?

The moment the old man heard Adam, his eyes lit up as he trembled excitedly. He swiftly leaned against the cage and grabbed Adam's hand. He said with tears in his eyes, "It really is you." Adam nodded hard tears welling in his eyes.

"Yes, it's me. I'm still alive."

"I'm so glad you're alive. I'm relieved." Ray was in pain, but he kept repeating himself hoarsely.

"Ray, calm down. Let me get you out of there." Adam grabbed the steel bars on the cage and pulled them hard!

The steel bars creaked as they bent, and the gap widened.

The young man got up from the ground. He looked at Adam in disbelief and said loudly, "Do you know them? Are you really a Drake? You must be from the Drake family! I have finally found you! I've struck gold!" The young man laughed in delight as he spoke. He retrieved his phone, wanting to make a call.

Adam calmed himself down and said, "Ray, hang on."

Adam charged toward the young man.

The second-floor window in the martial arts center suddenly opened and Priscilla jumped downstairs. Even though she had a cool aura, she looked a little anxious.

"Is someone from the Drake family here? Where are they?"

Fannie and Arianna also ran out of the martial arts center when they heard the commotion.

"Where are they?" asked Fannie anxiously.

Adam felt worried. His identity was on the verge of getting exposed. He quickly darted in front of the young man in the nick of time.

As the young man attempted to make a call, he quickly retreated. "I've found them..."

"Damn you!" Adam shouted loudly suppressing the young man's voice as he hurled a punch at the young man.

The moment the fist landed on the young man's face, blood spurted out.

The young man fell backward. His face was covered with blood, his nose was broken, and he had lost some teeth in the process!

Adam did not give the young man the opportunity to speak at all and attacked him right away. He attacked the man's throat!

The young man made a gurgling sound wanting to cough blood. His eyes turned white as he got thrown onto the ground like a corpse. Adam turned and looked at the two other young men coldly.

The two other young men were still fighting Owen, so they fail to realize one of them was already dead.

Adam stepped forward and wanted to kill them!

Priscilla suddenly shouted and joined the battle. With a quick spin, she kicked the young men aside.

"Stop! Tell me. Where can I replace the Drake family?"

Adam frowned and quickly retrieved a coin!

If either of the young men divulged anything, he did not mind sending them to see their maker.

The two young men looked at Priscilla and said furiously, "Fuck you! Are you nuts? What are you talking about? How dare you hit us?"

Don't they know my identity? Relieved, Adam put away the coin.

Priscilla frowned and asked, "Didn't you say you have found someone from the Drake family?"

"We were talking about them, okay? They are from the Drake family!" he said, pointing in the direction of the cages.

Priscilla raised her brow and finally noticed the cages.

The moment she turned and looked, her face instantly turned cold. A murderous aura radiated from her as she turned back to look at the young men with narrowed eyes. "Did you do this?"

One of the young men sneered and said, "None of your business, okay?"

"Damn you!" Priscilla cursed before she unsheathed her sword!

The young man was terrified and instinctively made a desperate attempt to run. Priscilla attacked him without the slightest mercy.

Her cold long sword pierced into him from behind!

The young man opened his eyes wide in horror. He lowered his head and looked at the blade jutting out from his chest. "Ho-how could you kill me?"

The young man fell to the ground and died!

All the people around were dumbstruck, they looked at Priscilla in shock. Even though they were furious about what the young men had done and wanted to skin them alive, they did not dare to put it into action. No one was really going to kill them! Priscilla had unexpectedly done it.

Everyone stood frozen and was at a loss. Owen, Fannie, and Arianna were dumbstruck!

Adam was equally stunned. He did not know what to say and simply shook his head powerlessly.

From the looks of it, this woman from Lotus Sect had something in common with Owen. Both are equally stupid. Even though she was trying to save them, she went overboard. Never mind. I can handle this. Adam sighed inwardly as he turned to look at the last young man.

The young man was petrified. He knelt on the ground with a thud and kept bowing. "I will tell you everything. Please don't kill me."

"You are despicable. Why should I let you live?" Priscilla was absolutely unmoved as she raised her sword to the young man's throat.

Adam quickly slapped the sword away and said in all seriousness, "If you kill someone, you have to pay with your life. Do you want to die because of someone like him?" Priscilla shot a cool stare at Adam. "Are you trying to stop me?"

Can't you tell I am trying to help? Adam griped inwardly before wanting to speak.

The young man was startled by Priscilla. He hurriedly shouted, "Don't kill me. I can help. Didn't you want to replace the Drakes? I happen to have intel!"

Adam, Priscilla, Fannie, and Arianna turned to look at the young man in unison!
