Salute To The General
Chapter 1812

Chapter 1812

When Adrian was about to have a fit, he heard someone exclaimed, "Oh! Isn't this the famous Lord of the West, Adrian York?" Adrian and his men turned their heads and saw Maverick smiling, and Adrian was also a little surprised. “Maverick, it's you!"

Maverick laughed. "Yes, it's me! Wow, I didn't know Mr. York would remember me! What an honor!"

It turned out that Adrian was no ordinary man.

The Yorks were the most significant family in the West with hundreds of billions of assets, and their children were involved in business, politics, and the military. Adrian was the immediate successor of his family and was known as the Lord of the West.

Although the Douglas family was considered well off in the West, they were nothing compared to the Yorks, and Adrian was someone that Maverick would need to please.

Maverick asked flatteringly, "Mr. York, are you here for Mr. Goldstein's birthday party too?"

Adrian replied frustratingly, "Yes, I heard that he is the richest man in Brimmopolis. When I knew that today is his birthday, I showed up uninvited to get to know someone powerful like him. But look at these bastards who denied my entry just because I don't have the invitation! Isn't this annoying? I'm known as the Lord of the West- do I even need a stupid invitation wherever I go?"

Maverick nodded his head vigorously. "Yes, these guards don't know any better."

Adrian grimaced and looked at Maverick. "By the

way, what are you doing here?"

Maverick boastfully took out his invitation. "Well, I'm here for his party!"

When Adrian saw that Maverick had one, his expression became weird, as if he was jealous and aggrieved.

Maverick grabbed the opportunity.

"Mr. York why don't you come along with me? I can bring a few friends with me. We can meet him and make friends with the richest man in Brimmopolis."

Adrian knew that Clifford will highly likely be the president, so he wanted to build connections with the Davier family.

When he heard that Maverick could help him enter the party, he couldn't help smiling. “Haha, that's great! You're my friend from now on.”

Maverick didn't expect to know someone like Adrian, the Lord of the West, before meeting Leaser. He couldn't help grinning and thanked him profusely, "Thank you so much, Mr. York!"

Maverick handed the invitation to the security guard for inspection and walked into the club with Adrian and their men.

There were seven floors in the Sunshine Club, and Leaser reserved the first floor for his party.

At that moment, Leaser, holding a platinum cane with a young lady in his arm, greeted his guests smilingly.

Adrian and Maverick also went forward to present generous gifts to please him.

Being the richest man in Brimmopolis, Leaser was used to people pleasers.

He didn't care about the two brats from the West and only smiled and nodded at them. "Thank you for your generosity, my friends from the West. Find yourselves a seat and have a drink."

Disregarded by Leaser, the two felt disappointed and found a seat and drank dejectedly.

Maverick whispered to Adrian, "Mr. York, Mr. Goldstein is the richest man in Brimmopolis.

Since his father will become the

future president, he will be the

president's son. Since we're from the

West, he doesn't know us and our

capabilities, so it's reasonable for him not to value us."

Adrian nodded. "Yes, you're right. It seems like we have to impress him to gain his attention."
