Feeling pleasantly surprised, Nathan said, "I was wondering who it is behaving so mysteriously. So it's the three of you!"

Zach and Lucas stood up as well as they joined Garrett in welcoming Nathan.

During their previous meeting, Nathan and Garrett got along so well that it felt like they have already known each other for a long time.

Nathan had previously saved Zach's life and it could be said that the two men had gone through life and death together.

As for Lucas, their friendship was strengthened from their fights with each other, and Nathan and Lucas were considered to be on good terms with each other. It was just that Nathan had not expected Lucas to be present as well.

"Nathan!" Garrett exclaimed.

"Admiral Hill visited me once he arrived at Brimmopolis and told me that he was under your instructions to render me support for the upcoming presidential elections. As for General Ziegler, our history go way back. Even though we are not real brothers, we're closer than brothers. As such, I've made the decision to invite the three of you here so that we could catch up and have a good time together."

Zach laughed and said, "We sent someone for you, only to realize that you've gone over to Zion's place for dinner. All of us have to wait for you because of that."

Lucas agreed heartily and said, "Yup, we've already drank so much without you. Nathan, as your punishment, you'll have to down three glasses yourself."

Nathan chortled and replied, "My bad for making all of you wait. I need to be punished indeed."

Three glasses of alcohol were no big deal to Nathan. After he finished his punishment, Garrett and the two other men cheered.

Even though Penny was aware that Nathan's alcohol tolerance was good, she couldn't help but worry for her husband's health seeing that he had drunk so much alcohol in one shot. “Slow down! It's not good for your health,” she said softly to Nathan.

Garrett chuckled and said, "Nathan, your wife's worried about you. Since this is the case, we shan't force Nathan to drink so much, lest he gets disciplined when he gets home."

Zach and Lucas grinned wickedly at Nathan, as if they were laughing at him for being scared of his

wife.

That made Penny's face flush with embarrassment.

As for Nathan, he was still all smiles and in good spirits. He didn't mind being teased by his friends at all.

He was the General of the North and God of War who had

single-handedly defeated the

Coalition Army which was formed by the elites from eighteen countries. It sounded like a joke that he would be afraid of a woman.

To Nathan, sometimes, when it appeared that a man was afraid of his wife, it was actually a display of his love for his wife.

As such, he was completely unaffected by what Garrett and the rest said.

Anyway, Garrett only meant it as a joke and changed the conversation topic shortly after, asking Nathan about the recent updates in his life.

Nathan smiled wryly and shared, "Zion and his son kept inviting me over to their place and have tried to get me on their side."

Garrett laughed and replied, "I've heard about what happened at Sunshine Club last night. Corey Lucas is too full of himself. How dare he play such tricks on you, Nathan."

Nathan was rather surprised to know that even Garrett knew about what Corey did!

It seemed like Garrett was keeping a very close eye on the happenings in Brimmopolis recently. Furthermore, Garrett's capabilities way surpassed Nathan's expectations.

Garrett was indeed too low-key. He had kept such a low profile that it was easy for anyone to overlook his existence.

Lucas spoke, "Nathan, I'm

supporting Garrett no matter what.

Besides, he had decided to run for presidentmainly due to your encouragement previously. You had also told Zach to support him.

You're not thinking of changing

sides to support Zion right?"

Nathan answered with a laugh, “Garrett is the most ideal candidate to me all along. I will be supporting him all the way."

A look of appreciation appeared in Garrett's eyes as he said, "That's my good friend!"

Nathan, Zach and Lucas's support gave Garrett the confidence he required greatly in his running for the president. After all, those three men were the commanders-in-chief of the North, South,

and West respectively.

With their backing, it was easier for Garrett to garner the support of the powerful and wealthy families as well.

However, even with that, Garrett was still worried.

He said to Nathan, "Nathan, even

with the support of the three armies, I still think that my overall capabilities are weaker than both Clifford and Zion's. I'm really not sure if I have what it takes to win. Can you please enlighten me?"
