His sharp gaze fell upon Maldragon through the sniper rifle's scope.

Without warning, their eyes locked and caused Maldragon who was about to fire to be stunned for half a second.

During the momentary lapse of concentration, Nathan sprang into action.

Regaining his senses, Maldragon fired without any hesitation.

Bang!

As the gunshot rang out, the bullet whizzed through the air and missed Nathan's face by a whisker.

Maldragon furrowed his eyebrows as he cursed

in his heart.

Nevertheless, he didn't stop as the barrel of his gun followed Nathan and took another shot. However, Nathan had grabbed hold of Penny and pulled her into cover. They managed to stay out of Maldragon's range as they were in his blind spot.

With no time to waste, Maldragon switched targets immediately by aiming at Garrett, hoping to bait Nathan out by attacking him.

However, the moment he trained his scope on Garrett, Lucas had lunged forward and tackled Garrett to the ground.

At the same time, Zach did a military flip and rolled himself to the side of the window. When he was near enough, he raised his hand to close it. Without any hesitation, Maldragon fired at them repeatedly.

His bullets smashed the window into pieces and made multiple fist-sized holes in the wall. Other than firing indiscriminately to vent his frustration, he also wanted to try his luck.

However, no matter how many shots he fired, Nathan and the others didn't move.

Meanwhile, the farmhouse restaurant turned into a ho's nest that was stirred. Colin, a few members of the Elite Eight, many of Zach and Lucas' National Guards, and a group of Cab bodyguards charged out of the restaurant with pistols in their hands.

All of them dashed toward the tall building opposite.

Colin commanded, "Spread out and head upstairs. We cannot let the sniper escape and must capture him dead or alive." "Yes, sir!"

The National Guards and bodyguards were all well-trained elites.

Although everyone came from different divisions of the military their cooperation was flawless. They ascended the building via different routes so that they could suround the sniper on the top floor.

When Maldragon saw the group of men charge out of the farmhouse restaurant, he was cognizant that they had entered the building below him and would surround him soon.

However, he didn't panic at all.

In fact, he didn't even consider fleeing despite the circumstances. All he was focused on was completing his mission.

Throwing aside his empty rifle, he put on his jetpack. Taking a few steps back, he started sprinting ahead and leaped from the hundred-meter-tall building.

He was an absolutely skillful assassin. The moment he jumped off the building, he fired up his jetpack.

Controlling his jetpack expertly, he soared into the air like an eagle before diving down toward the farmhouse restaurant.

Crash!

Smashing through the window of the restaurant on the third floor, he successfully infiltrated the room Nathan and the others were in.

Meanwhile, Nathan and everyone else was about to leave the private room.

Little did they expect the sniper to charge in through the window from the top floor of the building opposite and be standing right in front of them aggressively.

Garrett and the others were stunned.

Half-kneeling on the ground, Maldragon stood up gradually and took off the jetpack which had been damaged.

Staring at Nathan and the others indifferently, he stretched his neck and declared, "Congratulations, you didn't die by my bullets. Instead, you will die a horrible death under my fists."

Nathan exchanged glances with Zach and Lucas before all three of them burst into laughter.

The assassin in front of them actually dared to challenge the three Generals of the North, the West, and the South.

They surmised that the attacker didn't know Zach and Lucas' identity.

Nathan sneered, "Haha, you have no idea how terrifying your current situation is."
