Nathan understood that Zed wasn't late. The latter simply couldn't make the trip.

The Lancaster Family and Dash Parr joined forces to go after Cross Corporation, and Dash was Zed's boss. It was only natural that Zed didn't dare to go against his boss.

That was why Zed only showed up after Dash had left.

Nathan grinned and replied, "Actually, you're just in time. Clean up this mess."

“Understood, general,” replied Zed.

He later got a few police cars to take Nathan home.

Brennan was leaving just as Nathan reached

home.

Nathan shifted his gaze to Brennan, whose face had reddened with fury but still didn't dare to utter a word. The former then grinned at Penny and asked, "Then have you forgiven him?"

Penny answered, "He has already gotten on his knees and apologize, so I don't want to push it either. I am letting him leave after warning him against coming after us again."

Brennan peeked at Nathan before whispering, "Mr. Cross, I have done what you asked and have apologized. May I leave now?"

Nathan replied calmly, "You've made a terrible mistake, and merely apologizing won't do, especially when your actions had truly hurt Eurasia's feelings. I think you should compensate for that."

It was bad enough that the Lancaster family became Ariarica's citizens, and it was dishonorable enough that they chose to strengthen their company in Ariarica.

However, they truly crossed the line when they forsake their Eurasia nationality, become Ariarica's citizen, and still had the audacity to return and brag after gaining power. The Lancaster family acted like they were superior and mocked Eurasia's culture and citizens. They even tried to steal Eurasia's important medical achievements.

Hence, Nathan didn't think that a simple apology would do.

Brennan's expression turned extremely sour. I knew it! Nathan won't let me off that easily and will demand that I pay for my mistakes.

Nathan replied calmly, "You will

donate twenty billion to our

country's charity organization. We'll use that fund to help financially

compromised individuals burdene

by cancer. That should wash some sins off your family and earn you

guys some good karma. It can also be our punishment to you."

Brennan's eyes bulged, and he blurted, "Twenty billion? That's a lot!"

Nathan corrected cruelly, "I meant twenty billion Ariarica currency. You've already become their citizen, so it's only natural that we settle the matter in Ariarica currency."

What? Twenty billion Ariarica currency? That is equivalent to over a hundred billion Eurasia currency!

Brennan's expression turned utterly grim. He shouted angrily, "You may as well just rob a bank. My family will not spend that much money for my sake."

replied Nathan calmly, "Besides, my research showed me that your family has countless assets and a hundred billion shouldn't mean that much to the Lancaster family. Moreover, you are Godbert's only son. "And if he won't pay to rescue you, you can still replace a good spot in the cemetery to rest in peace.

Brennan instantly turned pale.

Nathan instructed Colin, "Take him away. The Lancaster Family has one day to decide."

Colin stared cruelly at Brennan and said, "This way, please."

Godbert was furious when he learned that Nathan was demanding a fortune to be donated. At first, the former didn't want to pay up and instead planned to call Clifford for help but he soon learned that his son's issue involved the Chief

Military Governor of Eurasia.

That silenced Goddert.

If the Chief Military Governor of Eurasia is involved, then my contacts in Eurasia will not help much. Darn it! I can't spend much time strategizing either. Nathan only gave us one day to settle the matter.
