Bam! Bam! Bam!

Not long after, Tyranno's gang of several tens of men had been entirely knocked out.

Teachers, students, and parents alike were all reeling from Nathan's sudden showcase of power.

They subsequently erupted into cheers, exclaiming, "He's amazing! He defeated them all by himself!"

Even Jaeden and Violet's son Marc, who used to always make fun of Queenie in school for being poor, was gazing at Queenie enviously. In a quiet voice, he told her, "Your dad's so cool!"

Queenie was so happy that her cheeks had become a bright red, proudly lifting her chin in

the air. "Of course! My papa is the best papa in the whole world!"

Penny and Kylie exchanged relieved, proud looks.

Just then!

Tyranno, holding his broken arm, pushed himself off the ground and stood up with much difficulty.

His eyes were now full of fear as he stared at Nathan.

Tyranno was at the top of the food chain in the underground scene of the outskirts of Brimmopolis. He had hundreds of followers, and his standard operating procedure was scamming people into giving him money.

He had bought several run-down buses and earned money by offering transportation services to bring tourists wherever they wanted, gaining many loyal subordinates due to his cruel, merciless ways.

They had always only focused on targeting foreign tourists, so they knew that this plan was tried and true.

But it seemed that their luck had run out today.

Mixed emotions of anger and fear burning him up from the inside, Tyranno spat out, "You have some balls taking me on. I'll admit defeat today! But don't you forget: I'll be back for revenge. Brimmopolis belongs to us. You can't hide from

US.

And with that, he tried to slink away.

But Nathan's cold words stopped him in his tracks. "Did you say something? Something about making a comeback? Did I give you permission to leave? We're not done here, so don't try to run away."

Tyranno looked back over his shoulder, his heart in his throat. He didn't think that Nathan would still be on his case even after he admitted defeat!

"You may be used to retreating and coming back to get revenge at a later stage, but I like to finish things off cleanly and swiftly. I want to resolve this now."

7y ran no's face turned a sickly shade of green.

"What do you want with me?"

"Firstly, I want you to apologize for your actions. Secondly, I want you to apologize specifically to Mr. Winstead here. Lastly, I want you to turn yourselves in to the police."

Nathan didn't have a good

impression of Jaeden initially, but the man had gotten injured because he stood up on behalf of everyone and confronted Tyranno. Thus, Nathan wanted Tyranno to apologize to Jaeden.

Turn ourselves in?Does he think that I'm an idiot?

Tyranno decided that he had no choice but to obey Nathan's orders for the time being.

He begrudgingly apologized to the students and adults and then apologized to Jaeden alone. “I'm sorry. I will pay for your medical expenses.”

Jaeden puffed his chest up, pointing his finger right in front of Tyranno's face as he yelled at him, spit flying out of his mouth. "I don't want your money! I want you to f*cking respect me, or else you won't be let off the hook so easily next time!"

Tyranno merely bowed his head and nodded, agreeing over and over.

Jaeden had felt incredibly humiliated when he got beaten up by Tyranno in front of everyone earlier.

Now, it felt all too satisfying to curse and swear at Tyranno, who didn't even dare to breathe a single word of retaliation.

“Get out of here, and remember to turn yourselves in to the police. If not, we'll come for you ourselves," Jaeden threatened in what he thought was a very intimidating tone.

Tyranno and his goons helped each other up, hobbling off without another word.

Almost instantly, everyone crowded around

Nathan, praising him and celebrating his victory. Even Jaeden gave him a thumbs-up, shamelessly grinning as he said, "You're awesome, Nathan! I really owe you one for taking revenge on my behalf!"
