Sage, Elijah, Zach, and Lucas brought along over three hundred thousand men and laid siege to the Davier family. All members of the Davier family threw away the weapons in their hands and kneeled before the convoy of the army. "General, we concede defeat. Please let us go, and spare our lives!

"We will not make the same mistake again!

Slowly, he finally grappled with the reality which he was the loser. However, he still could not fully concede his defeat, puzzled at all the unanswered questions.

The man parted his lips and enunciated every word, "Nathan Cross, I've underestimated you.

"I did not expect that you still had so much influence after I've stripped you of the Commander-in-Chief of the North Army title.

"I've even sent for people to kill off Will's father so that he would leave Brimmopolis, occupied and unable to help you.

"I did not expect that you managed to get the Capital Garrison's help instead!

"Not only did you get the whole Capital Garrison army to help you, but also the Felidae Battalion from the Headquarters of the Chief Military Governor to back you up against the battle of my family.

"I have so many questions... How? Why? Why is the Chief Military Governor helping you? Just because you let your wife sleep with him?”

Penny, who was standing beside Nathan, burned with rage listening to the man.

Nathan's lips curled into a thin smile. “It seems like you're still not willing to concede defeat.

“Fine, let me enlighten you then. Guys, please tell him who I am, and why I have the authority to mobilize all these men?"

Colin, Fang, Destroyer, Heptakill, Elijah, Zach, and the three hundred thousand men roared at the same time, “The Chief Military Governor holds the authority to lead us!"

Up until then, Clifford had thought that it was the Chief Military Governor backing Nathan up and that the very same man had sent the army over to assist Nathan in attacking the Davier family.
