Catherine looked at Easton, silently agreeing with him.

Nathan looked at Catherine and Easton with an ambiguous smirk. "Really? What have I done to earn this honour then?"

Simeon asked, "I would like to ask the same thing, Ms. Camden. Please explain."

Penny and Kylie looked on to Catherine and her entourage.

Catherine spoke in an official sort of tone.

"Eagleland and Ariarica have always been on very good terms. By killing a large number of people in Avenport as well as killing the commander, you have greatly damaged our assets, Nathan. I'm here as a representative of Eagleland to request that Eurasia punishes you

as we see. to justify your action."

Simeon's expression changed at the sound of Catherine's request.

Penny and the others also started to look worried for Nathan.

Nathan, however, remained calm. In fact, his eyes started to glint at what sounded like a joke to him.

"Justify my action?" He started chuckling. "You were there. You knew that Simone was the one who started it and was also the one who stepped up to challenge me voluntarily. Since when I have been labeled 'killing a large number of people'?"

Catherine couldn't help but look down guiltily as she continued. "I'm here to represent my country's view on the matter. By killing our ally s commander, you've made an enemy of both Eagleland and Ariarica. Besides, you did kill Simone, so you should get punished."

Nathan turned and asked the people around him with a smile. "So an Eaglelander is here to arrest me on behalf of Ariarica for killing their commander. In fact, they're here before Ariarica themselves have said anything. What do you think this is?"

Colin said loudly, "They're loyal mutts. That's for sure.

With that one phrase, he managed to anger Catherine and the other Eaglelanders.

Without waiting for them to start blustering, Nathan had already reprimanded Colin with a smile. "That's a bit harsh. I'd say it's more a case of the observers getting more worked up and all anxious than the party involved."

Catherine and the other Eaglelanders were still maintaining their cool with Colin's words, but once they heard Nathan's words, they got even angrier. Nathan's words were sarcasm at their best. Catherine was still holding herself back, but the other officials were already starting to speak up out of rage.

"How disrespectful is that!"

"We must teach them a lesson so they learn how to speak properly to us in the future!"

"Nathan, aren't you the so-called God of War? We challenge you to a duel!"

Eagleland's noblemen had a long-standing culture of dueling. The moment a disagreement popped up, they would settle it by challenging each other to a duel.

Dueling in Eagleland among noblemen was legal. As long as both parties consented to the duel, no one was allowed to step in. Their opponent would walk free even if someone got killed during the duel. The Eagleland officials were all clamoring to challenge Nathan to duel in order to protect their country's dignity.

Nathan frowned. "I'm really down on my luck, huh? Why can't I just enjoy a meal with my family? If you really want to duel, Colin can entertain you all."

Colin walked out. "Yes, General."

Easton said coldly, "Nathan, we're challenging Eurasia's God of War, not some lackey of yours. Are you trying to mock us or are you just being a coward?"

Nathan looked at Easton and nodded. "Yup, I'm mocking you. This 'lackey' of mine is already enough to kill all of you ten times over."

What?Is he saying that this lackey of his can defeat all we Eaglelanders so easily?

Easton was angry, and so were the other officials behind him.
