Salute To The General -
Chapter 2203
Easton was just about to teach Colin a lesson, but someone beat him to it. An instructor dashed ahead and introduced himself coldly, "I am Colonel Smith, the commander of Eagleland's special air force. I stand here today as a test for you Eurasians. Let's see if you arrogant lot is as powerful as you claimed to be."
Smith was Eagleland's commander of the special air force, obviously. He had contributed a lot to the military of Eagleland, and since he was a left-hander, he was also called God's Left Hand. He was also a terrifying unit in the western battlefield.
Easton was slightly frustrated that Smith took his chance to teach Colin a lesson. And he even lost the chance to challenge Nathan as well.
Colin looked at Smith coldly, "You're the one they call the commander of SAS, the strongest special forces in Eagleland, also known as God's Left Hand? Interesting.
I've always wanted to spar with you guys, but I never seem to have the chance to. But now I can fight as much as I want."
Smith stood with his legs open as wide as his shoulder. He put his hands behind his back and stood before Colin as if he was Colin's superior. "Then this is your chance to witness the power of SAS, you ignorant fool."
Simeon could feel the tension between Smith and Colin rising, and he started sweating nervously. He wanted to stop the fight, for if it were to break out, it would be a problem no matter who the victor was. If Colin were to lose to Smith, the whole world would laugh at them, since everyone was just waiting to see Eurasia embarrass themselves.
Simeon was about to stop them, but Nathan gave him a look that told him to calm down and see how the matter would unfold.
Simeon got the untold message, of course. He stopped for a moment, then he thought, Yeah. The Chief Military Governor is here with us. No matter what happens, he can deal with it. I have nothing to fear. And then he perished the thought of stopping the fight.
Nathan, Catherine, and everyone else were watching as Colin and Smith walked up against each other solemnly. The tension in the air was almost palpable, and the fight between the two soldiers seemed inevitable at that point.
Smith sneered. "You won't get out of this fight unscathed, Eurasian oaf." He closed in on Colin and raised his fist. Smith wanted to take him out with a lightningfast punch to the face, but Colin saw through his attack, and he stopped Smith's punch with one hand.
"Is that all?"
Smith never thought Colin would possess such speed despite his gigantic size. He never thought Colin could stop his punch so easily, as if it was nothing.
He was shocked, but also infuriated at the replaceing. I can't underestimate him any longer. He finally got serious and unleashed a barrage of attacks at Colin.
Anyone else would have dodged Smith's onslaught, but not Colin. Instead, he chose to take the attacks head-on and went on the offense as well.
Their attacks were militaristic. Simple and direct, but they aimed for the vitals every single time. There were no flashy moves, as they were going in for the win with nothing but speed and strength. Smith and Colin traded multiple blows. He could go toe to toe with Colin in the first few moments, but Colin increased his strength with every passing second.
Eventually, Smith's arm was getting numb, and the force behind Colin's punches rattled Smith's chest, making his insides churn. It was as if something was squeezing his heart, and he was trying to get rid of that thing.
Colin's final punch broke through Smith's defenses, creating a perfect opening for the deciding blow. Colin didn't give Smith any chance at respite, and he slammed his feet against Smith's chest.
Smith was sent flying backward from the impact of that attack. He fell to the ground with a sickening crunch, and he stayed there, motionless.
All the Eurasians broke into cheers after seeing the outcome of the battle, but Catherine frowned, and the instructors behind her looked grim as well.
