Salute To The General -
Chapter 2310
Tetsuo's men turned to him in unison, wondering if they should attack now.
However, Tetsuo shook his head.
Let's wait and. see how things go. They probably won't need to get involved with the Monk and the Priest around.
The Priest smirked as Nathan disregarded them. "Mr. Cross, you don't look too good today. I'm afraid misfortune will befall you. Why don't I pick a tarot card for you to see what your future holds?" He then grabbed a piece of tarot card out from his pile, glanced at it, and smiled. "The Tower. It means death and destruction. Mr. Cross, it looks like your time is up. You should just let us kill you." The Priest spoke in a hypnotic voice, trying to control Nathan's actions by putting him into a hypnotic state.
However, he didn't know how strong Nathan's willpower was. It was impossible to hypnotize him.
The Priest raised his hand and tossed the tarot card that symbolized death and destruction toward Nathan's throat as he spoke.
He then smiled gleefully as he watched Nathan's throat about to be slit by the tarot card.
That's the God of War? Hah! I can take him out by myself.
However, Nathan moved in that split second.
He raised his left hand and caught the tarot card easily.
What?
The Priest's smile froze as he stared at Nathan in surprise. He's not hypnotized and even managed to catch the tarot card so easily?
Nathan stared at the tarot card and said nonchalantly, "It is the tower card. You're right, it does mean death and destruction, but you've got it wrong. This card represents your fate tonight, not mine." As he spoke, he flicked the tarot card out.
In an instant, the color drained from the Priest's face. His throat was slit open by the tarot card before he even knew what was going on.
"Ugh!"
The Priest's hands flew up to clutch at his throat helplessly. Bright red blood spurted from between his fingers relentlessly as he staggered backward.
Utter disbelief shone in his eyes as he stared at Nathan. He then fell face-first to the ground.
Kristoff sprang up in shock. He couldn't believe that Nathan had killed the Priest in an instant.
Even though the Monk and the Priest came from different countries and were people of different races, they were very close.
The Monk howled in anger when the Priest died before charging at Nathan like a bull.
"To hell with you!"
The Monk swung his twin sai at Nathan.
Nathan raised his arm and intercepted the attack.
A white light flashed in his sleeves.
The Snowsphere'.
In the next moment, the Monk's twin sai were cut in half.
There was even a bloody vertical cut across the Monk's facial features.
Not only had Nathan sliced the
Monk's twin sai into two, but he had also split the latter's skull open.
The Monk froze, while Kristoff s face turned ghastly pale.
He turned to face Tetsuo.
Tetsuo had seen how easily the Monk and the Priest took Lone Star Tim out.
Hence, he thought they could play the same trick again and take Nathan out.
Never in his wildest dreams did he ever think that Nathan would be able to kill the Monk and the Priest in the blink of an eye.
Tetsuo was shaken to the core as he quickly instructed his subordinates, "Attack! Kill him! Now!"
In an instant, the snipers, who had been hiding in the dark, fired their weapons.
However, Nathan moved at the same moment. It was as if he had been prepared for that.
He sped toward their hiding places with god-like speed.
Mud splashed into the air as the bullets hit the spot where he ran past.
Nathan then went into the dark and disappeared into thin air.
Kristoff, Tetsuo, and the swordsmen were dumbfounded.
Shortly after, grunts and agonized screams rang out. Several gunshots could even be heard throughout.
Very soon, everything returned to normal.
Kristoff and Tetsuo were taken aback as Nathan emerged from the dark.
He was holding the last sniper hostage.
Crack!
He broke the sniper's neck and threw the body aside carelessly.
With that, Nathan's gaze landed on Kristoff, Tetsuo, and his fellow swordsmen. In a chilly voice, he uttered, "It's your turn now."
