Salute To The General
Chapter 2312

Kristoff panicked. "Mr. Cross, please spare me. Please, spare me! I won't do it again, I promise! Please let me off this once. I'll do whatever you want me to!"

He lowered his head as he spoke, not daring to look Nathan in the eye as his eyes darted nervously back and forth.

Nathan could immediately tell that he was saying all these to save his

skin. He's probably going to come after me again after this.

However, Nathan decided not to expose him. "You said Mr. Perez sent you here?" he asked coolly.

"Yes, he believes in the pharmaceutical industry's prospects. The one who can come up with a cure for cancer will be the biggest cash cow for the industry. Thus far, Cross Corporation has been the most successful. Novah Pharmaceutical Company could never catch up anymore. Hence, Mr. Camden and Mr. Perez agreed to partner up. Mr. Perez would deal with you by kidnapping Penny and returning her to the Camdens, while Bowen would take over Cross Corporation. We would then work together toward the future of the pharmaceutical industry."

Nathan sneered. "Hah! You thieves are trying to steal the fruit from the tree we planted. Doesn't your plan seem too good to be true? Call Mr. Perez now!"

"Yes. Right away," Kristoff replied.

With that, he immediately dialed Quentin's number.

At that moment, Quentin was swimming in the pool.

He swiftly climbed out of the pool when he heard his phone ringing.

A few beautiful blonde women sauntered over. They waited on him with some towels and a bathrobe.

On top of that, a tall, burly bodyguard handed him his phone respectfully.

He lit up a cigar and sat himself down on the deck chair.

"Kristoff, how are things going?" He spoke arrogantly through the phone.

Nathan replied, "Not too good. He screwed up."

Quentin was stunned as an unfamiliar voice reached his ears.

He immediately narrowed his eyes.

"Nathan Cross?"

""In the flesh."

Quentin changed his sitting posture and smiled a smile that did not reach his eyes. "Are Kristoff and the others in your hands?"

"Kristoff is the only one left!"

Quentin could tell right away that the Monk and the Priest had died.

Anger flashed in his eyes. However, he remained calm and said levelly, "Nathan, you're much stronger than I thought. Regardless, you're still nothing in my eyes. Pissing me off will not do you any good. I can help you out. In fact, we can even work together."

Nathan raised his brows. "Oh?"

"Cross Corporation belongs to you and your wife now. I had originally wanted to work with both of you, but you rejected my proposal. Hence, I had no choice but to work with Bowen instead," said Quentin. "I do not care who my partner is. My only goal is Cross Corporation. If you are willing to sell Cross Corporation below the market price, I will spare you. I will even promise not to interfere with the grudge between you and the Camdens. What do you think?"

Nathan smiled. "Sell Cross Corporation to you below the market price? Hah! Why don't you sell Novah Pharmaceutical Company to me below the market price? I'll pay... one buck."

Quentin burned with rage. "Are you kidding me?"

Nathan chuckled and replied, "You wanted to kid around with me first."

"No deal then?"

"We can talk. Otherwise, I wouldn't have even made this call. You will have to fess up and make a public apology for your actions. Moreover, you will have to make compensation for all the losses and take responsibility for everything you have done. I will let you off if you agree to all these. Refuse, and I will head over to Novah Pharmaceutical Company and kill you myself." "We'll see about that!" Quentin thundered.

He hung up the call right after.

Kristoff was staring at Nathan weirdly as negotiations between Quentin and Nathan had failed. "Mr. Cross, I've done everything you've asked. Will you let me off now?" Nathan nodded. "Okay, I will let you off."

Kristoff was thrilled. Once I escape, I can think of how to get my revenge on him again in the future.

He thanked Nathan and was about to leave.

However, Tim attacked like a phantom.

He grabbed Kristoff s neck with his left hand at lightning speed and single-handedly lifted him off the ground.

Kristoff widened his eyes in shock and gasped. He kicked the air as garbled words left his lips. It was as if he was trying to beg Nathan for mercy.

Nathan said coolly, "I'm letting you off, but my friend never said he was going to."

Kristoff was filled with despair.

Crack. Tim tightened his grip, broke Kristoff s neck, and threw his body on the ground.
